Fast/Simple Guide to Unbrick Redmi Note 7 - Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Guides, News, & Discussion

Hey guys!
I make the tutorial using external links but i'm a new member and dont have permission to post.
Now i removed the external links, but i think will work in this way.
After a lot of trying and breaking my face(brazilian slang) with various mistakes and unsuccessful procedures, I managed to restore my device (Redmi Note 7 Lavender).
In my case, the smartphone had a completely black screen.
Files used for the procedure.
MiFlash without Authentication Needed: Mi Flash 20170425
ARB4 Lavender GLOBAL ROM: Look for the lavender V10.2.7.0.PFGMIXM Fastboot version.
Xiaomi ADB Drivers
Qualcomm Drivers: QDLoader-HS-USB Driver 32bit and QDLoader-HS-USB Driver 64bit install both
FileHose File: prog_emmc_firehose_Sdm660_ddr.mbn
Step 1:
:good:Extract MiFlash and Lavender ROM for another partition or clean folder on you hard disk.
I used D:/ and created a new folder only for this procedure.
:good:Extract and install Xiaomi Adb Drivers and Qualcomm Drivers
:good:Exctrat FileHose and copy the archieve to the Lavender ROM/images folder
Example: D:\LavenderROM\images or C:\Users\User1\Downloads\ARB4 ROM\images
Note: In this folder have another filehose file called: prog_emmc_firehose_Sdm660_ddr.elf ... DELETE THIS FILE!
All done, time to make things happens
Step 2
I removed the back cover of my device, used only the heat gun and the suction cup for removal.
Some people try using deep flash cable DFC.
But I used the testpoint method to perform my procedure, then i need to remove the back cover.
Step 3
Now, u have to remove the battery plugin, need to remove the cover:

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And see the connector like this:
Plug the Type C cable in USB2.0 or USB3.0 port and but dont plug on smartphone now.
First u need to locate the testpoint dots like this:
Step 4
Open Mi Flash with administrator privileges and select the folder where you placed the FileHose file.
Example: C:\Users\User1\Downloads\ARB4 ROM\images
And now u will make the testpoint procedure.
Connect the cable to the device and at the same time you must press the test points using tweezers for 3~5 seconds.
Like this:
Open the Device Manager and look into the COM and LPT item to see if u device will be recognized.
You see a Qualcomm HS-USB QLoader 9008 COM4 (The number is just an example, in my case the COM port was 4)
Now you click on REFRESH on Mi Flash Tool then if you bootloader has unlocked, in the checkbox named "clean all" um have to mark this.
Click on Flash.
Maybe everything I said is something that is full of the same on the internet, but I hope it will serve someone who is experiencing the same problem as mine and who has not found a solution.
I tested several tutorials until I got it this way, using these same files that I left linked here!
God Bless all of us!

can you help? i need that patched file for redmi note 7 pro. pls if u can do something

Is this for LeEco Cool1 or Lenovo K6 Note?
Can it be used to root Cool Changer 1c?

Did anyone ever get this on a tablet? Service can't solve it.

So I have this Asus MeMO Pad 7 which I tried to flash. I can't honestly remember what I did exactly, just followed some commands from tutorials online and I got it bricked.
It looks like the image attached below, the Aptio BIOS on a tablet. Do I need to bother buying an OTG cable and plug in my keyboard? I saw a thread in 2015 with someone having the same issue, but there is no answer.
I know I bricked this tablet, went with it to the service, but I have a feeling they didn't try hard enough or are not knowledgeable.

Solution for next time: Don't follow random commands from tutorials online.
If you end up in the UEFI setup utility every time you start the tablet, you've likely managed to destroy your bootloader. You could try to buy an OTG cable, plug in a keyboard and an USB stick with a Linux live system and use that to restore it, but generally this is not necessary because these devices come with another recovery mechanism called "DNX mode", that allows restoring the bootloader.
With your tablet turned off, press Volume Up + Volume Down and then the power button. If it displays "Fastboot starting..." there is still hope.
Install Fastboot on your PC. If you haven't done it already, there are many tutorials out there with instructions how to install it. You can take a look at https://wiki.lineageos.org/adb_fastboot_guide.html for example.
Connect the tablet to your PC and on a command line, type "fastboot devices" and check that your tablet shows up.
Download the firmware from ASUS: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/EeePAD/ME176C/UL-K013-WW-12.10.1.36-user.zip and extract "esp.zip" and "droidboot.img" from the ZIP. Open "esp.zip" and extract "EFI/Intel/efilinux.efi".
On the command line, switch to the directory where you have extracted "efilinux.efi" and "droidboot.img", then run "fastboot flash osloader efilinux.efi" and "fastboot boot droidboot.img".
With a bit of luck that might bring up Droidboot and allow you to access the recovery to install the stock ROM correctly again... Good luck!

[GUIDE] Unbrick your Huawei P 10 lite via the Serial Interface

I accept NO liability for any damage caused by this guide.
Think before you go blind!
Your phone:
- Want's to do a factory reset without any installed system (boot loop)
- Stucks in Error mode
- Don't let you go into fastboot, recovery, erecovery oder dload mode?
-You get a message like: Func NO: 15 (bl31 image)?
Image:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then this tutorial will help you 100% to get back into the fastboot mode!
What you need:
- A Windows computer
- DC Phoenix (Download) and an active Account (Buy)
- Your Huawei P 10 Lite
- Fine tool
- A wire or the like
First you have to install the drivers for the serial interface to the Huawei.
Download this ZIP (Download COM Drivers for Huawei Phones) and deactivate the driver signatures, a tutorial can be found here: How to Disable Driver Signature Verification
Now you have to open the back of your phone with a fine tool, go with your fingernail or something else thin wide between the glass and the frame below the phone.
Now you see a lot of electronics and stuff.
What is important for you are the 6 larger golden dots next to each other. The second and third of Links are essential for this guide. To be on the safe side I have a picture in the appendix which shows and marks the dots.
Image:
Now connect your mobile phone to your computer via USB.
Now you have to be a little clever, take a wire or something similar and connect the two points (2 & 3), while these points are connected you have to restart or switch on your mobile phone.
Now a message from a new device named "USB SER" appears in Windows, this is your phone in "serial mode" (I don't know the official name). Open the Device Manager (Right-click on the Windows logo at the bottom left and select Device Manager). Here you will find the device "USB SER" at the top, right click on the device and select "Update driver...". A dialog opens in which you have two options, to install the driver automatically or from your computer. Select the second option, then you can select the path. Select the folder of the unpacked .zip file with the COM drivers for the Huawei. After a short wait the driver should be installed and you are ready to go.
Please open DC-Phoenix now, there you can choose between "Update Firmware" and "Update OEMINFO". Please go to "Update OEMINFO", set a check mark to "Use BOOTLOADER" and select the file "Kirin658_T0_A7.0_V1" under "Bootloader files" (ONLY for the Huawei P10 Lite!), under the tab "Testpoint files" select the file "Warsaw_WAS_P10_Lite".
Now just click on Update in the lower right corner and watch the magic begin
If you have any questions, praise or criticism, please feel free to write here ^^

Question HELP

my device is locked in fastboot after flashing gsi, i tried all but nothing, so i locked the bootloader, i know i'm dumb but i was and i am desperate, solutions? idk if there is still a rom in because it was empty and i tried the fastboot method to reflash rom like flash boot.img and vbmeta.img and others (nothing changed).
UPDATE, i unlocked the bootloader but the problem is still here, i tried to flash rom with fastboot but it fails with system and vendor, i think that's the problem.
logs? photos? how you flashed? what you flashed?
Supposing your bootloader is unlocked, just follow this guide taken from this Mi official page.
Method 2: Fastboot Update
Note
A Windows PC/laptop will be needed for the following steps. Make sure that your device is fully charged or has enough power for this process. This guide will help you update your device to the latest MIUI ROM version. All user data will be purged in this process. Please back up your data and think twice before proceeding.
STEP 1
Download MIUI ROM Flashing Tool (Size: 66.7 MB)
STEP 2
Select the right MIUI ROM version for your phone:
★ Redmi Note 11 [spes] Global
★ Redmi Note 11 NFC [spesn] Global
★ Redmi Note 11 NFC [spesn] Europe
★ Redmi Note 11 NFC [spesn] Russia
STEP 3
Turn off the device. Press the Volume– key and the Power button at the same time to enter Fastboot mode. Then connect the device to the Windows PC/laptop via a USB cable
STEP 4
Double click on the downloaded ROM file to decompress it. Open the file folder for the decompressed ROM pack, and copy its path on the computer.
STEP 5
Decompress the MIUI ROM flashing tool downloaded in Step 1, and double click on it to install (if there is security warning, select 'Run'). After installation is completed, open MiFlash.exe and paste into the address bar the ROM file folder path copied in the last step.
Click on the first button (circled out in yellow) to Refresh, and MiFlash should automatically recognize the device. Then click the second button (circled out in red) to flash the ROM file to the device.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
STEP 6
Wait until the progress bar inside MiFlash turns fully green, which means the ROM has been successfully installed. Then your device should automatically boot to the new version.
If the flashing guide could not help you, please download Mi PC Suite here (after Mi PC Suite is installed, make sure that your phone is in fastboot mode, connect your phone to a computer, and select the correct ROM file to flash).
I finally solved, i unlocked bootloader again with mi unlock and i followed this instructions, thx
