If you're on cr6.x then you're supposed to be on fw v12.0.2 and are not required to flash any fw upgrade. However you'll have to format data and wipe all. So backup is needed of your precious data

Are banking apps working on this rom?
Known problems:
1. Contact app closes when you tries to edit/change profile pic

Thanks for the good rom. I can't get "google" to work when I swipe right from the homescreen. Google is installed and the setting is enabled in crdroid launcher.
Just installed aswell. Used the full Gapps.
Seems nice and smooth for now.
A few problems:
1. Your launcher is force closing. The google one is working
2. Gmail is crashing when you add another non google account. tested with a outlook and a own domain account.
3. the same red flashing when unlocking the phone.
You got any idea if there is a more stable gapps version to use?
Will give more feedback the more I use the phone.

You can try the test version of opengapps or try bitgapps.
We had some in our crDroid dev group who had good results on that. I still prefer Nikgapps but that will definitely change if something more stable will be released. Remember this is all a work in progress.
Let me know how they work.
For the red border issue : seems to be gone on my phone this morning. But nonetheless will add a fix for this.
Also could change profile picture in contacts by tapping pic and change it - although going into settings and change "your info" will crash

Hi, this Gmail bug was also present a few months ago on cr6. I can't add my outlook account while on xiaomi.eu I can.
BTW, I have a few issues of short disconnections when using data.
Also, I am using full screen gesture, and if I hide navigation bar, right and left swipe to go back stop working.
Beside that rom is great for a 1st build, and very pleasant and smooth to use

As for now Selinux permissive and no encryption.
Checked gesture mode but seems to work (see attach). Also can access root/data if that is what you mean.

Use odin 3.10.x to push bootloader (line BL) and modem (on line CP).

Flash this Rom at your own Risk, I take responsibility for nothing!
Always make a backup of current setup.
Recovery is required for this flash, you can find it here.
Turn off your Galaxy Tab S2.
Reboot to "Recovery Mode" .
(Press volume up + Home +Power buttons on boot at same time for 8 seconds until recovery mode is active.).
Perform a Full wipe (wipe Data, wipe Cache and wipe Dalvik Cache)
Choose install zip/ choose zip from /storage/extSdCard1 and flash Rom from location on sdcard
Reboot and let sit for 8-10 minutes (very long) to settle in.
Choose your csc using phone info... It will perform one factory reset. all your datas will lost (not on sd card)

So sad... did not work on 715y.... flashed ok... everithing ok but a chache folder error... then when asked to flash supersu it resets and enter in loop reseting on boot logo and resets... and so... all time....

Are you coming from 6.0.1 rom?
if not you have to flash bootloader and modem 6.0.1 first... The only thing is that I am not sure modem and bootloader of T715 are compatible with T715Y!

did not flashed bootloader and modem first... i saw someone got it work on a 815y in this thead.... so i assumed it will work...
i dont know what to do... i have restored to your 5.0.2, that one works great...
if you recommend me i will try flashing first bootloader and modem and then rom tomorrow... now is too late in usa and i like to test this kind of roms late nite because i work a lot with phone during day and cant have phone off

But need edited some files before flash on T815Y.
I think 815, 810, 710, 715 can flash this rom with kernel and build.prop correctly model.

You need build.prop and kernel of T710 to running this rom. Replaced them inside rom zip before flashing rom.

I know hardware is a little bit different and T815Y has already bootloader and modem for 6.0.1. , T715Y still don't have!
If I am you, I wait few days more to be sure 100% to have the good bootloader&modem for T715Y...

I have one Problem with ES FIle Explorer. I can't run the explorer in root mode, everytime i try to active the mode i get an error message "This function is not working on your device."
SU doesn't have ask me if the app (es file explorer) can get root access. Anybody knows a solution

Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see if your device is built on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. You will need to use the version arm64/arm/whatever for SDK 27.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot", then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash, and then reboot.
Using the ROM:
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
- Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)

Magisk versions higher than 17.1 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine

Have you done totally clean installation? It has been a while since I installed an Aosp, but previously I always installed an official stock for odin of 4 files to avoid problems

I tested several different 9.0 Pie versions. I found the Superior OS version to be a bit better
I'm soo happy .Now S3 is still supported by the online community

Yes, but LiveDisplay is not working and is very important for me.
I tried today, but just like any Pie ROM for S3, I couldn't get it to work. As usual in every Pie ROM, problems with SIM PIN, so the SIM protection must be turned off. But the worst part was that the interface resets itself over and over again. I just can't set anything. So I'm gonna give up.
Geez, what is it with these Pie ROMs and my phone, I've tried 5-6 of them, and every time I can't have 5 minutes without a problem

I used los16 sources if los16 have bug other roms have same bugs because ı used same sources you can wait for sometime
When this problem fixed on source then you can use pie roms whitout this bugs
so don't write these errors to me, you can comment on lineageos 16 thread.
There's probably no point in doing that. Every S3 Pie ROM is awfully unstable for me, and the issues are not reproducible (for me) because of their totally random nature of appearance (sudden freezes, reboots etc. everything that occurs randomly), I don't really know how to capture it and collect data to make it useful. I respect people's work, I never ask anybody to fix a problem if I can't provide logs or a way to reproduce an error etc. I'm just writing my observations.
NFC works? in the application GooglePay cards are added, there is an opportunity to pay?
On my s3 this rom performs much better than the lineage roms. Thank you dev

i just flashing it with full wipes.... build 2019-08-01 wifi connecting
The connection is hard to time, must restart to connect to the wifi, and the device is very hot, resulting in lag

for wifi fixes you can use murata fix
for ui lags you can flash magisk and add this line to build prop

Good afternoon
I have the ROM installed for 2 days for now everything is going well the battery with an approximate duration of 1 hour with 50 minutes of screen.
I had some random reboots, however I changed the governor to zzmove and it seems to be fixed. Sometimes it gets hot and the battery at rest is better than other Android 9 ROMS.
Hopefully it will be updated ... I see it much better than the Lineage OS 16 ROM :fingers-crossed:

I'm used this room for a few days. It's good room, smooth. Just problem they restarting system ui very often. After restart they loading very slowly some time restarting again. After restarting I can use phone 10 - 15 minutes later. Where can be problem? Any solution?

Me logs
First of this rom has amazing pixel like features and looks but the ONLY AND ONE issue i have is this. There is this application called : Nvidia Games it's ported from the nvidia shield to run on any android device. : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1WR8nq1bklCLknwhUelAXHxCNLdaILAMZ
however whenever i try to play a game using Geforce NOW on android the video feed doesn't load but the game noise does.
This seems as though video streams or playback on this rom is broken and does not work. I'm no expert but i think it's that hwc bug or something where it messes up the video feed making it not play. If this is fixed in a future update please do.
Also the overall performance is very bad and animations are very laggy even with the latest build with opengl set as the video renderer.
Do you think opengl renderer is causing this hwc bug?

maybe yes you can try opengl skia mod for game play.
whitout this, this device hardware very old maybe it may not be able to adapt to the new android versions.

Tried it with setting the renderer to skiagl but it still has the exact same issue where the audio streams but not the video. The same stream works perfectly fine on my pixel 2 xl.
i'm really confused because it use to work on this s3 on a different old version of some pie rom, something must have messed it up.
I may try an older version of android like noughat.
Could you link me a noughat rom that doesn't have the hwc bug and is stable or for best gaming performance?

Thank you so much geforce now streaming works on this rom perfectly, smoother than my other android phone which has similar performance yet somehow the s3 has a very smooth video feed. One thing the boot animation is the worst thing i've seen ever, just gonna quickly change it to a google boot logo
also is there a way to get google now feed on the custom roms stock launcher?

I recommend lineageos or lineageos based roms for you because los and some los based roms have home button to wake feature.
Will this work on the I9305 S3 phone?

com.android.phone keeps stopping in some rare cases [fix- go to TWRP mount /system then file manager system product and delete the folder phonesky......]
AresKernel might cause the phone to switch off while in sleep...in that case use Kraken RC-14

The sim card fix is on its development....but i have implemented the partial fix in the GSI.........u can try it and pls provide feedback if it works or not......

Link has been updated and the sim card fix has been applied...other fixes include proper LPM implementation for offline charging...and more ramdisk enforcements optimizations which will have a dramatic improvement in animation smoothness...
Pls try and provide feedback ??
