Factory image version France - Google Pixel 5 Questions & Answers

Hi guys,
I want to flash the latest factory image however I'm not sure which one to take.
Indeed I'm in France, so my guess would be to take the EU carriers version, however since I didn't buy it through any carrier, my guess is that it is the international version, therefore I should maybe use the normal one?
Anyone in France that didn't change their firmware can tell me which one they have?
Thanks.

I have the French version (the one with headpones) and it comes with the EU version by default.

Can someone tell me wich contry this is? I am guessing Brasil. I bought this phone from a retail in Romania. Thanks.
By the way, my build number is kxb21.85-14, i saw a new update here on xda, but when i click on system updates it tells me that my phone is running latest software version.
It's generic EU (reteu = retail EU afaik), as for the update it was pulled as some problems were found (don't know what mine seems fine) so you are on the latest at the moment.

I don't know anything about morelocal2 and I did not know about the dual SIM firmware I also do not know what language you are looking for. I do know that for the 920I the Australian firmware has more language choices than the Singapore firmware I was on. If you can, I would look for an Australian version of your firmware (I am not even sure if there is one) and flash it using Odin. Be sure the bootloader is the same or newer and that your storage is the same (for the dual they may all be the same) or your flash may fail.
Good luck

Firmware and ROM for chinese version G9700?

I have the chance of getting for quite cheap a Chinese version of the S10e. While I've read that it should work alright where I live as it is, it seems I can't install International firmware. Would that prevent me from installing future custom ROMs? If yes, is it possible to change the firmware?
Also, if not, is it possible to install a Hong Kong firmware? Both versions are G9700, but I suppose the HK firmware is more international and has Google Play
Yes, it is possible to flash HK software on 9700 ;
Most chinese people who want a Samsung phone buy the HK version (because it's cheaper) and then flash Chinese ROM, so it's possible to flash HK ROM on Chinese version.
However, make sure you download the ROM for 9700 and not 9730 or 9750 (S10 and S10+)
btw it is not possible to flash on Note10+ 5G

V409N to Internacional Version

Hello, some wise person to help me.
You see, I bought the LG V40 128GB Korean Version on AliExpress, I bought it that way because it was very cheap, at $ 230 remanufactured, but they gave it to me as impeccable as new, the fact is that, it is the U + version, and it has some Parts are in Korean and have a couple of apps that are the same and cannot be deleted, I have seen that this model can be flashed with other versions, so the question is, can I install the international version? And if so, could you give me the specific version to flash, a while ago I managed to install the latest version that is this "v409n20h_00_lgu_kr_op_1004.kdz", thanks

Question Help to clarify doubts about CSC changing with Samkey

Greetings folks, i have been reading a bit about changing the csc of the phone, I own a s21 Ultra G998B version and its branded with a owo rom, i live in Chile, and the Claro company of course is not up to date with the otas, and also i want to flash a clean rom with no bloatware. I read that with samkey i can change the CSC to an OXO (mine is owo) rom so i can then flash the muti csc rom. I also read that in order for samkey to work i have to roll back to may update? i'm currently on august update. am I correct in the process? can anyone recommend to which csc i can change so i won't turn my phone into a mess
thanks to all who can provide some light jeje

hi, yes it is, but i looked in samfirmware and the cho version is until august, so i think it would be the same? mine is chl which is for CLARO company and is also in august update, i would like september updates so i can try the andy 12 beta
When I bought it, it had May firmware. I changed CSC before any other update .
So , may update is working for SamKey.
Otherwise, you need to flash with latest Odin the may firmware of your CSC you want (downgraded)

No to both. Thailand FW is configured for the Exynos SoC. The China FW, even though it's configured for the Snapdragon SoC it's not compatible with the US Unlocked variant. Do you live in Thailand? If so I'm curious why you aquired a US device. We often see users buying non native devices, maybe they got a good price, maybe they moved out of their region, maybe it's a company issued phone but it's a pain when call features or 5G don't align with your service provider. Flashing non stock firmware often causes more problems than it solves. Samsung is moving closer and closer to proprietary software for individual models, mix and match is becoming a thing of the past.

I live in Kaliningrad, Russia. This device I've bought for 30usd, new, boxed,, here, in Russia, so I was looking for ways to make it work as a Russian device(full menu translation, bands, etc.). Actually no matter, which language is used, at first I had troubles using android 11-there was no esim. Than using abd I flashed it to oneui 4.0, esim works, all lte bands are supported.

$30 USD is an awesome deal! If all bands and esim are functional that's probably as good as it gets. Unfortunately Exynos compatible FW which is dominant in Russia can't be installed on your device. Gboard may be your best option for Russian Language.
