I tested it for a few seconds, and it's the first positive thing happening about that phone.
Let's start with the bad:
If anything goes between the camera lens and the protection, it could be scratched (think a sand grain)
It's a bit strange how to slide that camera protection, and I touch the lens with my nail sometimes
The inside of the case, behind the ring, there is a tiny foam protection that seems thin.
Edit: added a significant "bad"- The case is like a "u" or like this: |_____| (thats the phone laying on the back, the vertical bars are the case sides; the horizontal bars are the screen). That means if it falls not flat, the screen could be the first contact point (and not the case, illustrated by the highest vertical bars). A difference would be like this: ====== (where the lower line is the screen and the higher line the case). Note: This is surely a design due to the screen itself which is rounded, and curved on the side of the phone itself. It's clear that it's a compromise to avoid blocking that beautiful aspect of the screen. It's also clear that doing that, it removes a bit of protection. I think it would have been a bad design to hide some side of the screen in order to protect it better... Or maybe would have been possible to make a transparent line there, to protect while still showing the screen?
The rest is great, it seems to even counteract the phone defect:
The ring kickstand, in addition to holding well, seems to balance the camera lens weight issue, that made me lose grip and tilt the phone down a few times in a few days of use
The grip is very good, no more slippery phone
The buttons are all working well
The slot for the pen is accessible decently, I can remove the pen without issue
The corner looks very hard rubber or plastic. I tested gently by hitting the table with them, it actually feels soft and seems to protect well
The packaging and box are suitable
Overall its looks made of some sort of plastic, and many of the "shapes" are made in some sort of softer, nice to touch and grip material.
It was super easy to put the phone in, it seems perfect grip and fit. Even now the phone feels securely inside.
Even now, with the case on, the phone on the table does no longer feels unbalance due to the bulge of the lens. It feels flat, and despite holding on the ring itself now, it looks more "stable" (remember, the bulge of the camera is not in the center of the phone, the ring of that case is).
It looks a perfect match and exactly what I was looking for!
The camera cover, due to the possibility of sand and nails, might be the only concern. Probably I could stick something to make it easier to slide on it.

i have the other nilkin with the camera cover and its great

[REVIEW] Incipio Feather + Zagg invisibleSHIELD reviews

Incipio Feather
- Claims to be less than 1mm thick
- Made from Polycarbonate
- Soft touch finish
- Comes in 4 different colours, this one is Iridescent Blue/Green
The Verdict
It's awesome. Extremely thin and very lightweight, this case makes the phone feel much more solid in the hand. The soft touch texture also takes away the 'slippyness' of the original back cover, and best of all, it doesn't add any more bulk to the phone. All the controls are cut out, so unlike some of the gel/TPU skins, you get to press the naked button rather than pushing it through the case, which is very nice. It fits perfectly snug and doesn't rattle around. Definitely my favourite case for my nexus and I definitely recommend it if you can find it for a reasonable price like I did.
Price: $17.95 CAD, from BlueShop (a canadian online smartphone accessory store thingy: http://www.blueshop.ca/incipio-feather-case-for-samsung-nexus-s-teal/)
Zagg invisibleSHIELD
- Claims to be military grade screen protection against anything from nails to keys
- Lifetime limited warranty
- Applied with liquid solution and rubber squeegee
The Verdict
The installation wasn't too difficult, although getting the actual screen protector off the paper backing proved challenging. Getting the thing on the actual screen was very easy, all you had to do was spray the actual protector with this liquid solution provided and then slide it into place. This actually worked way better than I thought, and I was able to position it perfectly. Once on a dried, the texture took a little getting used to as your finger definitely doesn't slide as nice as the naked screen. However, the protection you get, imo, is worth the price of the weird texture. Plus, unlike other screen protectors I've tried on this phone, the curved glass at the bottom and top of the screen near the bezel actually sticks down nicely, unlike the other ones that didn't stick to the curve and collected dust. Overall I think its a good thing to have on your screen, but the price can only be justified by the warranty- which fortunately I haven't had to use yet.
Price: $14.99 USD from Zagg's website (http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield...es-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.php)

The case doesn't lift the Zagg at all?
I run a very similar set up on my NS4G save that I use the Best Skins Ever screen protector which seems to have a lot less "orange peel effect" (and the black Incipio Feather). My phone feels light and well protected. I especially love how the case keeps the screen (as well as the bezel) off of the tabletop surface when I put it face down.

Case review (silicone case, tpu case, screen cover)

I have not seen any reviews on items such as i had so i figured id make a review.
first off i want to review the cover sold by http://www.clear-coat.com/ . they often have kiosks at the mall, where i got it. i paid $15 for it but had the guy take it off roughly 30 min later and returned my money. i dont have any pics of this so take my word on it...
positive:
~fits like a glove
~does not lift on the sides
~very clear cover
~soft *self healing* surface
~great cover if not used on a phone with stylus
negative:
~soft surface causes the nib on the spen to bite a bit to much
~spen tip is a bit sharp for this and eventually does scratch the surface
here is where i purchased the silicone case and matte screen cover
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Silic...143117?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item564edab38d
here is where i purchased the black tpu case
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-TPU-S...703346?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item4d06270932
matte screen cover
positive:
~ noticeable reduction in glare
~ noticeable reduction in finger prints
~ works well with spen
negative:
~ the cut out is terrible. it has to lean to one side or the other to get coverage. either you cover a part of the home button or the front camera. for me i covered the camera
~ because of the curvature on the sides of the screen the cover is slightly raised (on all 4 sides). this means this will NOT work if not used with a case that lays over top of the screen cover (like the silicone case i describe below)
~ dims the screen a bit, as expected with all matte covers
~ distorts the screen a bit, as expected with all matte covers
~ does not provide "security" function like some other matte covers
overall i will use this screen cover (i bought 3 with the case) and then switch to something else

tpu case
positive:
~durable
~looks pretty
~big enough cutouts for microusb and 3.5mm audio jack
negative:
~fits like a$$ (around ALL openings and cut outs)
~fits very tight around the glass so it pushes against of screen cover causing it to push up
~nearly no impact protection
~the glossy rear surface on scratches
~the buttons are so flat and so hard its damn near impossible to press them
~this is just a terrible case...
silicone case
positive:
~fits like a glove
~looks good
~thick enough to protect, thin enough to not carry bulk
~nice cutout around front led/camera/speaker (compare to the generic cut of other cases)
~wraps around the phone so it sits on top of the sides of the screen cover (reduces chance of pulling up edges and getting dust under the cover)
~good button feel and very easy to press the buttons
negative:
~hole for charger and microusb are to small. MOST 3.5mm jacks are too large. i can stuff the oem microusb plug in the cover for charging because the silicone stretches but i rather just pull it down. same goes for 3.5mm jack.
neutral:
the "slippery" surface that comes on this cover when its new wears off quickly. this is what gets it in and out of your pocket without fuss. personally i dislike the surface and was counting on it rubbing off. underneath is bare silicone which is very grippy (not sticky). its sits on my dash in my car and does not slip or slide. this is my MAIN reason for going silicone verse hard case. to me this is a plus, but i understand it may not be to all.

[REVIEW] LUVVITT® CLEARVIEW HTC One M8 Case

!!!!!!!!!!!!! <SEE BELOW FOR ADDED CONTENT> !!!!!!!!!!
LUVVITT® CLEARVIEW HTC One M8 Case Clear View | Scratch-Resistant Hybrid Slim Transparent Case/Cover
$5.95 - Amazon (Less Shipping)
Overall the case is what it is. Fit is good except for the top and bottom lips on the screen side but it's not that bad. There are manufacturing seams on the sides but you can't really feel them. The charging port cutout was a little off but I fixed it with a xacto knife. Before the fix I'd have to move the case a little to get the connector to plug completely in. There is what I'm calling a manufacturing defect on the bottom near the charging port. Not sure if this would be present on all of these cases or it's just on mine. No big deal, I'm not looking to win a beauty contest.
The IR blaster works. I've not notice the "flash flare" some have reported with other clear cases. It say scratch resistant but I've not used it enough to tell it that is true or not. The case feels "grippy" in your hand but not enough to snag in your pocket. The back of the case seems like a little harder material than the sides. It goes on and off easily. There is no cutout for the SIM or SD slots so the case will have to be removed to change those. The volume rocker is completely covered so there is minor protection there. I will report back on scratching and yellowing seen in many of these clear cases
If you are looking for a minimal case for $6 you can't go wrong. I'm just using it at work and when I'm out and about as I like the naked feel of this phone and take it off when I'm at home.
My brother bought a Spigen® clear case. It seems to offer a little more protection at the price of bulk. They are comparable but I prefer this one as it feels a little less bulky. Hope this helps.

ADDED CONTENT:
FYI
Well I've only really used this case for 2 days (first two days back to work after receiving the case) and I just noticed a pretty good scratch on the back of the case. There are also some very small scratches that are hard to see unless you hold it at just the right angle.
I'm not concerned becasue this is why I bought a case. I'm reporting this as the marketing for this case says it's scratch resistant which it is clearly not. I'd expect more than 2 days of use before seeing any significant scratches. Oh well, for $6 I'm happy and it's almost a disposable item if it gets really bad.
Added Content:
Afer a few weeks of use I can say this case is working just fine. I've never had a clear case so I'm not sure how long it takes to discolor but this one is still as clear as the day I put it on. I like to go naked when I'm at home and this case is easy to take off and put back on. The big scratch pictured above is still the only big scratch it has. There are a bunch of small scratches that can only be seen if held at the right angle. So far I am very pleased with this case that I might not even get a Skinomi or other wrap at this time. I have yet to drop my phone with this on (don't hold your breath, I treat this thing like a baby) so Not sure how it would protect if it hit on concrete or another hard surface. I think it would help a little. This case has not scratched the phone and I've not noticed any dirt getting between it and the phone. Whenever I put the case on I use my microfiber cloth to clean the case and the phone before installation.
Recommended :good:
Looks like a case that resemble the case I got from my m8 box. Looks pretty glossy.
Sent from my HTC ONE M8 HK
Great review.. I use this one: Ultra 0.5mm Slim Soft TPU Skin Clear new Case Transparent Cover But you need to buy a dozen or so, if you don't like scratches. This case will scratch up pretty bad.
Great review, that thing in the picture you don't know is probably a remnant of a tab gate. When the injection molding/extrusion happens the plastic goes through the gate, then they break it off of the runner when cured.

Have you guys tried the Baseus Ultra Thin Clear TPU Case? Best looks imo, at the expense of less protection

Melkco cases in hand and reviewed.

I was asked by the seller to review some cases for both the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
I have received some of the cases and will be posting my reviews in one thread in both the S7 and S7 Edge forums to keep the information in one place and nice and neat.
They make quite a few cases for both the S7 and S7 Edge so my reviews of the case for one would apply to both versions of the phone.
Pictures will be in the "Click to show content" buttons to maintain a clean thread.
Melkco Ultra thin Superlim Soft TPU for Samsung GalaxyS7 Edge with screen protector (Transparent)
This case is unbelievably thin.
The thickness of this case for the S7 Edge is roughly the same as the distance the camera sticks out from the back of the phone.
I have never seen a case like this before.
The case is crystal clear and will show off the color of your phone, or like mine the dbrand skin on the back.
The case has a slight lip on the front at the top and bottom to prevent scratches on your screen should you lay your phone down screen first.
This case will not add much drop protection, it is to prevent scratches, please do not purchase this thinking it will save your phone from a drop, that is not what it was designed to do.
This case will protect your phone from any scratches and scuffs from the day to day use of your phone.
While doing that it will be basically invisible and add literally no bulk to your phone.
I will add some pictures here of this case on my Titanium Silver S7 Edge with Blue Carbon Fiber skin from dbrand.

Melkco Kubalt Double layer case for Samsung Galaxy S7
I received this case quickly and in good condition.
I purchased the black inner with black outer style case that does not seem to be an option right now.
This case could and should have been a five star case, there was really only one confusing issue with this case.
The top of the case the two cutouts are not quite right.
The cutout for the mic is made at an angle, and while it is placed over the mic, it looks out of place.
There is also an extra cutout in the center of the phone that is unneeded, like it was for an IR blaster that was never put into this version of the phone.
Other than that this is a nice case.
There is a nice soft touch coating over everything that makes this case feel great in hand.
The rest of the cutouts are all perfectly placed and sized.
The soft inner layer should be able to absorb shock from drops and the hard outer layer should be able to take the brunt of a fall.
There is a small lip on the front of the case to prevent you from getting scratches on your screen should you lay your phone down screen first.
If you are looking for a case with impact resistance, great feel in hand, and general protection, this one will do it all.
I will attach some pictures here for you to see this case on my black S7.
**** 4 out of 5 stars ****
More cases are to come soon, I will update this post with new reviews within a week or so.

Any case recommendation?

Has anyone bought any good case for this phone?

this one is doing its job good so far. Plus good in hand feeling.
I buy this one in Aliexpress. I am a new member here, so I can not post link. :crying:
You can search for CASEWIN For Xiaomi Mi 9 MI9 Case Slim Ultra Thin Retro Woven Fabric Cloth Anti-scratch
I'm still waiting for the shipment, but from the photos of the users, it seems very beautiful
I'm using a nillkin case. I used one with my pixel 5" to stop the replaced back glass from getting shattered, and that's pretty much the only aim I have with the case. It's thin, doesn't add much bulk, only mild issue is that the power button cover is a little spongey so it's hard to double tap for shortcuts. Love everything else about it, comfortable to hold and the textured back feels nice and provides grip.
PZOZ Case For Xiaomi Mi 9 SE
I ordered this case from AliExpress.
First out of the box it is a hard rubber/plastic, bendable but pretty firm. Also fingerprint magnet.
Even though I didn't realize from the pictures, it has a little dotted pattern on the back, but I kind of like it.
It has some bump to protect the camera and the corners are protected well as well. Face down it is the case making contact with the table and not the screen protector.
The buttons are a little too firm, so you definitely need to press harder than with the original case it came with.
It feels a little "rocky" when on the back because of the camera, but overall, really good case.
I get this case from Aliexpress:
"GKK Case for Xiaomi Mi 9 SE Mi 8 Lite Explorer"
Seems good quality, nice carbon fiber effect on the back.
Very big advantage: it protect the screen and also the back cameras with extra high flange! So you cannot scratch the screen nor the cameras e.g. on a table.
Diasadvantage: because of it, the phone became a little bit "bulky".

You can find a lot from China.
I just bought one. It's XUNDD brand. Feels good
Best back cover I ever had:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/153512210032
https://www.ebay.com/itm/303178834156
At first I had this one by Bakeey (the blue variant): https://www.banggood.com/Bakeey-Plating-Transparent-Shockproof-Soft-TPU-Back-Cover-Protective-Case-for-Xiaomi-Mi-9-SE-p-1466435.html?rmmds=search&ID=229&cur_warehouse=CN
But I didn't like it that much. The transparency was pretty good, but I still thought it could be better. The fit was only okay. The alignment of some cutouts/holes weren't ideal, which simply didn't look that nice. The grip was not that great either. Compared to the original backcover, this is more slippy. Overall it still does the job and is certainly better than no case at all.
Now I have this one by Nillkin: https://www.nillkin-case.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=6484
That one fits really nicely. I like the transparency, do mind that I have the ocean blue version of the Mi 9 se. The sides give you a great grip. Overall it looks nice and feels nice. I am happy with that.
This case disturbs navigation with it's magnets.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33017025882.html
It is not possible to track a ride with your bicycle with this cover attached.
I guess it disturbs the integrated compass and not the gps receiver?
But it is good looking.
See the difference with and without this case:
I really like this one: aliexpress.com/item/32979689632.html It fits perfectly, has a good grip and protects all four corners. Full glass screen protectors still fit. The blue matches my blue Mi 9 SE very well. The side keys are super easy to feel and use, maybe even better as without.
I do recommend this one, good material and nice feeling when touching / garbing.
Also the both sides are magnetic so they stick to each other quite strong when you close it. Pocket for a bank / transportation card is a plus for me as also the stand feature. I purchase a blue color which is little darker than on the pictures. more close to navy blue. aliexpress.com/item/32982695873.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dTnjOjr
I do NOT recommend this one, in reality it does not look so nice like on the picture, barely you can see anything.
An app that you need to install for better performance is from third party and want access to many phone systems.
aliexpress.com/item/32987638992.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dTnjOjr
Does anybody know where to buy case Like this?
