Obs: This is for CHINESE firmware only.
About installation: its flasheable zip file. This mean you can flash via TWRP. I assume you must be on unicomelectric/cn (vendor/market). I personaley followed this method: install B230, then update to B240, then update to B556. After that i flashed custom recovery from whitch i flashed this zip file.
1. Its plain with chinese apps, which probably are very usefull, but i cannot speak chinese, so there are the option to uninstall those apps.
2. Always you can install Huawei App HiApp from where can install google play store for example. But its very usefull for update huawei preinstalled system apps too, for whitch on play store arent any updates.
3. Huawei App Store (for official huawei apps): Huawei App Store
Point 16 Are the System Patches part of the let's call it 'mod' or of EMUI?

Can you already install the ROM?
I doubt this is only for ALE-TL00 and cannot be installed on ALE-UL00
I changed the screenshots with my phones ones.
@ sokkoban: probably you remember: i was the one with chinese firmwares ale-ul00c00b551. And YES. You can flash over b556 chinese fw. One notice at flashing process says error mount blck...39 and 40 partition or what? Anyway the phone works well.

now i find, that the screen gesture settings are missing: double-tap wake-up, letter painting shortcuts, rotate the phone for mute alarm or calls. I wonder if these settings can be enabled or not via editing build.prop (or maybe local.prop)?
- Huawei-Swype its missing too, but we can install it: Huawei-Swype

I'm not using gestures so for me everything is working fine Thanks!
I can't enable or activate Hisuite after upgrading to v551 and v558 for restore data. Anybody with this problem? How to resolve?
this build quality is worse than 551. Very unstable bluetooth connection, lack of some good apps (swype, etc). So after two days back to 551.
b551 is the best version, specially for battery life , i had 6h30 screen on time and still have 11%

Help -- huawei p9 plus -- missing stock apps

Good day!
Huawei P9 Plus
VIE-L29
C636B388 to B389
The first I did was,
1. Unlocked bootloader
2. Flashed twrp
3. Install root
4. Accidentally wiped OS (no os installed! cant boot)
5. Fixed it by MRT Tool (with not same region firmware but fixed boot problems)
tho I cannot apply themes!
but bootloader locked again and removed root and twrp.
Everything was working fine! Except I cant install the system update yesterday.
the b389 update (200+mb)
but when I load again hours ago, it gave me the full package (2gb)
I downloaded it and installed!
After installation, STOCK APPS WENT MISSING!
1. Bluetooth
2. Screen Recorder
3. Notepad
4. Themes
5. Smart Controller
6. Huawei swype keyboard
7. Sound recorder
8. Sim manager
also, settings loads so slow. boots slow at first open after reboot.
AND A LOT MORE!
Mostly all my stock apps are gone!!!!
Can someone help me?
Or even send just send me there HiSuite backup of apps and homescreen settings.
I would be happy to try to restore my apps with that if it will work.
or any suggestions on how to fix? I need your help.
Thanks!

Guide to succesfully downgrade from 9.1 to 8.0.0.386 (C432 = European Phone)

Hello everyone,
This is the procedure that I followed to rollback my EUROPEAN P10 plus from Emui 9.1 to 8.
Phone was Unrooted + Locked bootloader on 9.1
As this implies downloading territory specific firmwares, I can only provide information on where I found specific ones. Unfortunately, I have no Idea where to find 9.0.* firmwares for other geographical locations.
1. go to https://androidhost.ru/29XI and download the 9.0.* firmware hosted there. There might be a bit to fiddle if you have adblockers on.
2. At the end of the download, there should be a file named: Huawei P10 Plus VKY-L09 hw eu HLRCF Vicky-L09B 9.0.1.163(C432E4R1P9T8) Firmware 9.0.0 r3 EMUI9.0.1 05014KJP [androidhost.ru].zip
3. The zip archive should be around 4.6 GB in size
4. Decompress it with your favorite utility (7z, Winrar, etc.)
5. Now there should be 2 folders: "ReleaseDoc" and "Software"
6. Inside "Software" there is the "dload" folder.
7. Inside "dload" you will find 2 folders and one file (see screenshot)
8. Delete the folder "VKY-L29_hw_eu"
9. Copy the dload folder in the root of your SD card
10. As a matter of precaution do a factory reset followed by switching the phone completely off
11. Press Vol-up + Vol-down + Power button and keep them pressed
12. The automatic update from SD card should start. Let it complete
13. Once completed, you will have to go through the initial phone setup
14. Once Phone setup is complete plug the phone to the computer, select USB to transmit data and launch HiSuite
15. I used HiSuite version 9.0.2.301
16. Give again all of the authorisations for HDB and wait for the connection with the phone to establish.
17. Start the update procedure, but when prompted select to use the other option.
18. The rollback description will display. Launch it and keep the phone connected. It will take a while.
19. The phone will automatically restart and install Oreo.
20. You are done

It should.
However, in this case at point 9 of the procedure I described, the folder "VKY-L29_hw_eu" should be kept and instead the folder "VKY-L09_hw_eu" should be deleted.

Can this guide be used to downgrade to nougat???

Unable to install Official update ROM manually from MIUI updater

Hi, I have a Redmi Note 9 shipped with MIUI version MIUI Global 12.0.3 Stable (QJOEUXM) I already unlocked bootloader because I want to root it and already backed important partitions with SP_Flash_Tool. Phone wan´t to update to 12.0.9.0 version but I want to update manually to 12.0.4.
Following this guide https://www.xda-developers.com/how-...i-android-update-xiaomi-mi-redmi-smartphones/ I already created the downloaded_rom folder and placed the miui-blockota-merlin_eea_global-V12.0.3.0.QJOEUXM-V12.0.4.0.QJOEUXM-7f62044532-10.0.zip file but when I choose "Choose update package" and select the zip it asks to "connect to a Wi-Fi network to download this update", I do, then select again the zip file and I get the error Can´t verify update Sorry, flash to this stable version is not allowed. Same issue with miui_MERLINEEAGlobal_V12.0.4.0.QJOEUXM_71e6083767_10.0.zip.
If I use the latest update miui_MERLINEEAGlobal_V12.0.9.0.QJOEUXM_5a7954d9cf_10.0.zip then allowed to update.
Then I try recovery method, rename the zip file to update.zip and placed to the base directory of the phone’s internal storage. I Rebooted the phone into recovery mode but there is no any option to install update zip, only Reboot - Wipe data and Connect with MiAssistant.
I should to do a factory reset to "unblock" this update hang 12.0.9.0 blocking me to update to 12.0.4.0 or there is some clear updater cache and data option (I can´t find it) ?
Why I can´t update manually, is because MIUI updater is detecting and waiting to updating latest update 12.0.9.0 and then is blocking older update to installing manually?
Why there is no option in recovery menu to install update.zip file?
How I can update to 12.0.4.0 from MIUI updater and zip file?
I should to use MiFlash and flash merlin_eea_global_images_V12.0.4.0.QJOEUXM_20201121.0000.00_10.0_eea_66369cf4be.tgz as last alternative ?.
Another doubt I have is if I update to 12.0.9.0 can I root flashing patched Magisk boot.img (12.0.9.0) from fastboot ? everything about rooting is allowed with 12.0.5.0 or Higher? I ask this because I do not understand correctly when I read "if you are on 12.0.5.0 or higher you need to use SP_Flash_Tool in EDL mode bypassing authentication for flashing" is only about flashing custom Rom?.
I only want to use Official Xiaomi ROM and rooting to restore app data from my previous rooted smartphone using Titanium Backup. Also I can´t to use Netflix because with unlocked bootloader Netflix do not want to update and I can´t use it and I don´t know if Magisk can fix this.
Sorry for my poor english skills and thanks for reading and for all the help you all can provide.

Question How to Install OTA update on rooted device with magisk installed.

I have rooted and installed magisk in my note 10 pro and even though I see the update in the settings and can download it. The update doesn't get installed and opens the TWRP recovery which then just fails and restarts without installing the update. Is there any way that I can install the OTA update?

Previously, updates were downloaded to the / sdcard / downloaded_rom folder (if you look at the path from the phone) in the phone's memory, check in TWRP, if there is no firmware file there, then download the update from the website, load it into the phone's memory or a flashcard and update. After updating, without booting into the system, flash the archive using magisk and then boot into the system.
