How to Root and Where download firmware? - Galaxy Tab S2 Android Development

Ok, I'm trying to figure out how to root my Samsung SM-T820 tablet. I just noticed a few days ago it's running Android 7 and figure I should see if I can get it up to Android 9 or 10. I found instructions on how to root it. The instructions say to go to sammobile.com and download the firmware. But, when I go to the website and click on firmware and select sm-t820, I then need to pick a country. I live in the USA. It's not listed... It's not listed as USA or United States. How could they forget about a huge country like us? I figure I must be overlooking something.

XAR is supposed to be USA.

android update

hi guys ; i bought a new samsung galaxy note 4 android 5.1 and when i try to look for its update he keep telling that he is updated ..... i wanna marshmallow help me pleassse
Which model and country? go to to updato web page and download Marshmallow firmware from there if available.
you can type your exact model number at sam mobile and get the firmware there or search xda
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
Just make sure to go to download mode and check your device model for ex. SM-N910F or SM-N910T etc.. before updating your phone through odin or any custom rom as many devices was sold as new but it was refabrished under the international variants.. only download mode will give you the true model number.. cheers

SM-T715 Official Firmware

Hi guys,
As the title says, i was looking for the latest official firmware for my SM-T715 because i want to go back stock (lineage OS 14 doesn't work very good..). I searched online and i foundf it (obivously) on sammobile or samsungupdates, but the download is really S-L-O-W and i can't/wont buy premium. If someone has the firmware uploaded on Drive, MEGA or others free filesharing sites will be very helpful. I live in Italy and the ITV firmware would be just perfect, but if you have any other european versions (uk, fr, ger etc) it's okay too. Hope someone can help me
Updato is your best bet, it was on the index for the S2 forum...

Click to collapse
no but that might still not make samsung pay work. but it will definitely not screw up your phone since all n960f firmwares work with all n960f devices. so just try it, just be sure to know how to use odin properly.

Difference between SM-A305F/DS and SM-A305F

Hello Everyone,
I have a Galaxy A30 SM-A305F/DS which is the South African Variant. I have read that the Android 10 Update has already been released in India for the SM-A305F and it will take ages to get the update here in South Africa. So my question is: Can I download the Indian firmware for the SM-A305F from SamMobile (sammobile.com) on to my SM-A305F/DS without any problems? And my second question is: If I manage to flash the Firmware, Will it trip my Knox and prevent me from using Samsung Health, Samsung Pass, Secure folder, and so on?
Thank you and have a good day

Hope you all are well. I stay in South Africa, and would like to flash the latest firmware (Release in November somewhere) on my watch model SM-R850
Can anyone point me to where to download the files? I looked at sammobile, and also tried various other sites, but cannot find the latest version?
Hope its available for sideload though, here in SA, we get the updates much later
Thank you guys!
