I tried to cover the N/A and keep it within the theme, but I missed.
Charging indicators have been swapped for fusion cores. Red for dead, green for everything else.
Root required to change boot animation (as far as I know). Boot logos were flashed with TWRP 3.4.0 (did not work with TWRP 3.2.1)

Yeah I know i'm gonna get a bunch of crap for this but its an animation that looks like the boot animation from Mac OSX. I don't even own a mac but I think it has a nice clean simple boot animation.
permissions need to be set at rw-r--r-- or an upside down L on the left side in root explorer if you don't understand that.

Originally put together for Nexus S (480 x 800 screen size) however will look fine on any HDPI screen. As per usual copy bootanimation.zip to /system/media. Second part of animation loops indefinitely which is not shown in the following image (apng).

Had some time to burn and decided to make a new boot animation (no sound). Haven't done on in over a year. Works fine on my Note2. Click on the link and download the file. Rename it to bootanimation.zip, and place it into your ROM's respective boot animation folder. Need to be rooted, don't overwrite your original, yadd, yadda, yadda.
