First of all, excuse my poor English.
Yesterday I went to charge my SGS +, but the phone don't want charge.
I tested 2 wall chargers and official USB cable.
a) With the phone turned off and the battery attached, when I connect the cable (Wall or USB), I can't see the big picture of the battery charging. The phone start and restart when home screen appears.
In this case, while cable is connected, if I goto CWM Recovery and then remove battery, I can use CWM as normal.
b) If I remove the battery and connect the any charger (Wall or USB), the phone don't start.
I have searched the forum but can not find anything about that.

With running phone, it don't charge and if I use a USB Cable, I can't see its drives (internal or external);. I tried this last in 2 differents pc
In battery stats window, it says that I need connect a usb charger.
I try 2 different batteries and 2 wall chargers and 2 USB cables.
I dit a hard reset, reinstall again CM9 Alpha 4 (until 19 Jun it works fine).
I did a dissasemble of the phone to see if any pin of the micro-usb port is broken, but I see all fine

This a very common issue with the Galaxy S2, never heard about it for SGS+ but you can never know.
The USB connector on your phone is responsible for this problem. It doesn't have anything to do with the battery or the ROM.
Samsung says it's because of moisture that got inside the socket. For SGS2 the problem is fixed by changing this component.

More tests: Yesterday I installed broodROM business from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1696381.
All works ok USB charging, browsing on Windows on both drives (internal/external).
Again, I reinstalled CM9 alpha 4 and, again, I get the USB problems (USB charge only in Download Mode, and I can't browse int/ext drives)
So, I reinstalled broodROM again and all is working 100%.
And yes, I did all with wiped factory/data/cache/dalvik.
I want to thank broodplank1337 for creating this great rom

You can try the gigabread+ its better than business. Its my opinion.

What is changes? I can only find a WIFI issue solved, but I haven't issues with XXKQB?
Hello, my MI 5 not even a month old is charging very slow with orginal charger that came with mi 5 box, time needed is 6 to 10h (wall charging) from 10 to 90-100percent, pc cant finde device too. The first thing i checkd is adapter and cable, by using friends orginal charger and cable and the results are the same. Its charging af 300mA max, while for my friend more tthen 1800mA. Ive tryed everything, factory reset, difrent electric sockets, checking usb connector on phone, it looks clean and normal. I never did overcharge or anything that can dmg battery.. It just stoped with fast and normal charging.. Any ideas guys...

8.1.1.0 maacndi miui 8 stable, yea its orginal. Phone was working perfectly, but 2 days ago it started very slow charge from nowhere. :crying:
Coincidentally, I just saw this thread at the same time my wife reported the same issue. She's on 8.0.5.0 and didn't previously have this issue.
It seems that since she moved to 8.0.5.0 the charging is slow
NO problems here,1h20m needed to full charge with QC 3.0 charger & cable
Hi guys, recently, charging on my Nokia 8 stopped working . But, it perfectly works, when i reboot device with usb C in till i unconennect cable.
I tried several cables so i think it is internal problem.

After updating to MIUI 11, my MI 9T Pro stopped fast charging when using the wall charger included in its box.
I tried Factory Reset but it didn't help. any solutions?
Hi !! This maybe the dumb answer but i did faced this problem and solved it by unpluging my usb from the wall charger and re-insert the USB (make sure it goes all the way in,Mine wasn't going all the way in and stopped fast charging).

Last week I found that my fast charge dosn't work here what i did
Flash fastboot rom
tested another adapter
tested another cable
cleaning the port
nothing worked
I think its hardaware problem
Someone could confirm it to me .
