Last night I turned off the phone and today I want to turn on but nothing only black screen. not able to charge, when I connect to PC I hear sound but only in the device manager can see COM/LTP ports Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM4).
I read this is the EDL mode but I don't know how started in this mode.
I installed the ADB, XIAOMI Drivers and MiFlash. After I flashed a chinese stock rom and after flashed the latest global stock rom. The flash was successful but When I disconnect and reconnect again to PC my Redmi 4x is still in EDL mode...
I tried the 2-3 buttons restart and some youtube things but the results is same: Redmi 4x stuck EDL mode.
Plz could anyone help me?

Hello everyone.
Yesterday while i was trying to install a new rom in my MI5 I bricked my phone.
I wiped the system, data, cache and kernel cache, then, as a mistake I rebooted my phone and all of a sudden it turned black and I couldn't go to the recovery or fastboot.
Now the phone is just black, no response trying to boot or go to recovery\fastboot. When I put to charger theres no LED LIGHT.
So I installed the adb drivers, installed MiFlash, and the computer recognized the phone as QualComm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 COM4.
Then I installed a fastboot rom into the phone using MiFlash, it said flash done and successful.
But, it keeps freezed in a black screen.
Should I just wait for a miracle or theres another option?
My PC still recognizes the phone as QualComm HS USB QDLoader 9008 COM 4.

Ok so now it booted with the fastboot ROM I flashed.
As I see, after the flash it takes hours to boot. I just went home, dropped the phone in the bed, then I pressed Vol up+Vol down and power button at the same time for two minutes and worked.

When i try to press the power button the phone doesn't boot, If i try to go into recovery mode it doesn't boot and same for fastboot mode.
The screen is unresponsive (no backlight) and it doesn't vibrate. When i connect the phone to my computer it is automatically recognized as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM5) which correspond to the EDL mode (i think).
When try to flash any rom with miflash i get the error " cannot receive hello packet.
Can anyone help me ?:crying:

Likely you have too much power coming from your usb ports, use a usb hub such as this: https://www.amazon.com/BYEASY-Porta...jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
Now try Mi Flash again, make sure that the lock bootloader (which is checked by default) is unchecked.
Now it should work, be sure that you are using a fastboot rom and not a recovery rom. ( a recovery rom will not work)

I get the same error " cannot receive hello packet" with hub USB.
MY xioami mi 8 is global version, i unlock the bootloader and make a downgrade with twrp to a older version of stable rom, and when the phone start ,its all ok and login my mi account, and the phone goes down and never more boot. Always in the pc i get qualcom port (edl mode) . Sorry for my bad english.:crying:
I think i need account with EDL authorization to flash any rom. And i can't found anyone to save me..

I have been using the phone for almost two years, without any problem, with a ROM from xiaomi.eu.
One day the phone suddenly went off, and I couldn't turn it on again. When I plugged it into the PC it recognized it as QLoader HS-USB 9008. I tried to flash another ROM but could not go into fastboot mode.
I decided to open it and unplug the battery, in case it was still on and without a screen, and when I reassembled it, I was able to go into fastboot mode and flash. MiFlash never gave the termination notice, and since then the phone has not responded, the computer does not recognize it, nor does it react to anything (it no longer recognizes it as QLoader HS-USB 9008). I've tried an EDL cable to do deep flash, but it doesn't work either.
I have read that there are some test points to start EDL mode, but I don't know if it will work. Do you know if it would work for this case? I also haven't managed to find a good manual to do this.
Any other idea?

Download proper drivers of qualcomm from below link (all instructions are given)

EDL mode
Put your phone in EDL mode and then flash the official ROM with mi flash tool (search on google how to put Mi 9T pro in EDL mode) do it with your own risk as it involves removal of back glass panel and shorting of 2 pins on the motherboard.

iam restart my phone but enter EDL MODE. idk why maybe bug miui. iam use latest miui V14.0.2.0.SJQIDXM
iam try power+up and power+down still stuck on EDL mode. iam out from EDL mode wait battery to zero. then normallycan booting.
then someday iam restart again,my phone on EDL MODE again
iam try plug PC show - qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008
then iam flashing fastboot "lime_global_images_V14.0.3.0.SJQMIXM_20230330.0000.00_12.0_global" after succes flash my phone still on EDL mode.. so iam press power nothing happen but iam plug on PC connected "qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008"

If the device is not bricked, then press the three buttons for 4 seconds, and the PWR button for about 10 seconds.

btw if battery drained to 0 normal again, then carhger normal again can booting to rom and play game, etc. but if iam click restart/i want restart phone after restart not wakeup but to edl mode "hs-usb qdloader9008". my phone never like this never dropped and wet
