Thanks for the feedback, so the rom isn't stable as written on post #1... It's so frustrating that our UMI can't get a decent rom at all, still after months

shame on xiaomi cuz denied publish kernel source for umi
i think this is a big problem for developers for build stable rom
I would rather have a good custom miui 12.5 rom! Really clean, and keeping all the good stuff, like the camera app that honnestly it's quite good!! Apart of globe rom and of course xiaomi.eu, does anyone knows another custom miui firmware?thanks!
One question guys: I've installed it but apparently the APN discovery doesn't work properly, is it a ROM issue or Android one? Because with the Chinese ROM it was working.
I see "Access point name setting are not available for this user" or something like that...
I've tried many things but still can't fix it. Going back to MIUI, it's the only one that works "properly"...

It doesn't allow me to change anything, I have tried but it "stops" me whatever I do.
It was the best custom ROM I have tried for stability and battery draining, but I couldn't use mobile data at all. That's a game-changer.
It's just a workaround though because if I go abroad, to use the roaming, I have to change APN as well and it's impossible to think that I have to do it manually each time, assuming that it works (which doesn't).

The problem is not only with China mobile data, apparently the Carrier Service (which as far as I understood is the responsible for this) doesn't work very well with ShapeShift.
It's a shame, with it working I wouldn't think for a single second but install it again.
Guys which TWRP did you use to flash it? When I try to flash it using 3.4.2 b it fails to mount system_root. The same happens with every rom I try to flash apart from official ones and xiaomi.eu. Which could be the problem

When do you have this error?
Apart from the fact that I'm not using Arrow for stability reasons because on my phone it doesn't work very smoothly, if you follow the procedure for every custom ROM: flash the recommended ROM, the one listed in the 1st post, reboot the phone after flashing MIUI (for me it even worked rebooting it in fastboot directly without doing the setup of MIUI), then reboot in TWRP and flash, it worked.
I generally use the fastboot MIUI flashed with the related flash tool (the official one on Windows or the Linux alternative that I found on the web, because I use Ubuntu) as a starting point since it is the cleanest/more complete setup; as far as I saw, only with the fastboot ROM everything is done "from scratch", that will prepare the ground for an easier installation of custom ROMs.

Yeah I do all the steps. It crashes when a try to flash a custom rom. TWRP is not permanent for me. I can only boot to that custom recovery through XiaoMiTool V2. When I leave it, then there is no custom recovery.
FYI, fingerprint detection is really bad on this one. I'd say it works 10% of the time, unlike other ROMs like MSM which are almost on par with stock rom
I can not use data china telecom china unicom can only use wifi data I use 2.3 and I flashed cn 12.2.7 before.who know how to fix it thanks

We do have rootless substratum support you just need to install substratum key apk and you are good to go.

Can you add fingerprint icon changer in the settings if it's not already there I don't have telegram or talk on xda much but I think that feature really makes a OnePlus 6t rom feel complete and I like it a lot. We can use the app circle cutter to make our own icons. Thanks in advance

Great rom so far dev... Few things I've noticed default ringtone doesn't make any noise for me (but maybe that is a just me issue) also if you try to use Google phone as your default phone your unable to set it as a default the phone just crashes like the system ui just reboots itself... I'll try and collect logs of the crash as some point today...

Does this happen to be the same Phenom from back in the LG Optimus days? That dude was a bad ass at make low grade phones worth something.

First of all Thanks for this wonderful ROM. It's Smooth and Stable. I haven't noticed any Major Bugs. Yet. Just had a few Hiccups while installing. After flashing the latest Illusion Kernel the FP was broken. However flashing Neutrino easily fixed that. Other thing is that some of the Menu Items are located in the wrong place. For Example the Settings for Aggressive Battery are in Status Bar section. The Horns menu is also a little Lower for my Taste but that's just me. I understand these are all Source Side so let's see if the next version fixes that. From Device Side, is DC Dimming implemented? Couldn't find it so I guess that's a no. Hopefully Soon. Other than that perfectly Smooth and Stable. Daily Driver for now......

As far as I know meziman are not longer included.
This rom had been one of my favourite till it was abandoned (cepheus)

Zip Treble compatibility error!
Invalid zip file format!
Then update to the latest TWRP.
I was on TWRP 3.3.1-42 Unofficial by mauronofrio and had the above mentioned issue. After updating to TWRP 3.3.1-62 I could flash the rom.

Damn, one of my favorite custom ROMS
The phone did not enter deep sleep during night.
I am certain none of the installed apps kept the phone awake as I did not install anything new which I did not have on other roms.
Is it working for others?
EDIT: as you can see in later comments, this was because I had pocket detection enabled.
If i am correct. Comming from Xiaomi.eu i do need to format data for encryption purpose right?

Deep sleep works for me last night. You can use BetterBatteryStats APP from play store to check which APP get the wakelock. Try Universal GMS Doze magisk module to prevent google service hold the wakelock on screen off.

You have to disable pocket mode if enabled, otherwise the phone wont ever enter deep sleep.

Nice catch, that was the issue, thank you!
Smart charging doesn't seem to be working, I have it enabled for 85% but yesterday morning it charged till 100%. I charged it again now and I unplugged it at 87%
Found a bug: Night light turns off when trying to manually adjust brightness using the slider with both flicker-free and night light turned on. No issue when only flicker-free is turned on.
And there are stutters in animations across the UI with default animation settings.
Apart from those two, haven't yet found any other. Great ROM! Surprised there's flicker-free mode in a custom ROM with working FOD, it's a nice addition as I'm sensitive to PWM, this will be the ROM I'll continue to use.

Hi Dev, I was in crdroid and these steps that i followed for flashing...
Recovery: TWRP [A11one] , Orange fox
1. download the palladium gapps rom file
2. wipe dalvik, caches, Data
3. Flashed the rom file and formate data then reboot
and now it boots into recovery!
I have noticed this issue with every A11 roms!

Rom not booting. I tried almost everything multiple times but no luck. flashed EU latest weekly, then flashed this rom. No luck. Flashed stock MIUI 12.0.2 rom then reflashed palladium. No luck. Flashed stock vendor also but still no luck. Using ofox recovery. Flashes succesfully but after reboot, it returns to ofox recovery.

I'm currently running PPUI 3.2 and this update doesn't show up in the OTA updater. There is no message about the update in the Telegram channels either. Is it safe to dirty flash the new update on top?

The message was pretty clear. And generally somone who post on a thread dedicated to a rom speak about the rom...
Does the GPS work? I have the 3.2 version and the GPS doesn't get a fix to any satellite. The navigation is unusable and I need it. Is it fixed with this version? Thanks in advance!

I am using orange fox receovery. Any specific recovery is required for this?
Edit1: It worked with Official TWRP. So please add in the Opening post that it will work with official TWRP only.

This is an old version. Current version here. You'll need to clean flash if upgrading from 3.3. Btw OrangeFox always worked fine for me with this rom even with PPUI 3.3.

- clean flash necessary if coming from 3.3 and want 3.5 : i've tried dirty flash and stuck on recovery, so format data, flash the rom and enjoy

- Download the ROM variant of your choice (Gapp-ed for inbuilt gapps, Gapp-less for vanilla experience)
- Backup every partition from TWRP Recovery
- Format Data
- Flash the Project Fluid zip
- Install GAPPS package (only if using gapp-less variant)
- Wipe cache!
- And at last Reboot!

Remove any kind of security PINs/Passwords and Fingerprints before flashing this build.

No support for NTFS by OTG.
Thank you for this excellent rom. I was a bit skeptical. But after installing, I have had a smooth experience so far.
Decent customization options
Good signal reception
A small bug is with the refresh rate. If we keep the minimum refresh rate at 30hz, and try to scroll, a small lag is noticed at the time we try to scroll.
Still testing other things..but everything seems good.
Is Gapps included? Currently running unofficial LOS happily but I'm always on the lookout for another ROM without Gapps baked in. Thanks for the efforts to all those even giving us ROMs in the first place, Gapps or not.
I installed yesterday and everythings looking good, but yes, how wrote @ThePhob NTFS throught OTG device not recognized (in default Xiaomi ROM and in ForkLineage working). But all others looks very well and in my opinion it is very stable and usable ROM for Apollo! Proximity sensor in my opinion doing better job than in other ROMs.

Can you simply flash via TWRP? What about all the issues involving vbmeta, devices with passwords etc
I only ask because I spend half of last week rescuing my phone after trying a tedious method that involved flashing vbmeta. If flashing the ROM with TWRP is the only step would any of you awesome folks poing me the best TWRP version?
I have TWRP_apollo_3.5.0_10-beta_1_whyle and doing flash normally - Format Data, give ROM to device in recovery mode from PC or OTG and flash, some error TWRP wrote, but ROM booting normally a working very well. I tested almost all custom and MIUI ROM and Fluid looks for me from custom best. Good for daily use.

Yeah it can be flashed from twrp
That vbmeta stuff is fake news and the guide concerns me deeply...
For AOSP Roms at least you can flash the firmware, the rom, and format data before booting

after flash this rom i cant mount my storage how to fix it?
Its weird, my storage mount regulary, try clean flash one more time. Format data before first booting is properly.
In my device working all, smooth, auto brightness and display refresh is best from custom ROM, proximity sensor when i calling too. Only one minus is not mount NTFS OTG storage. Battery drain is good too, for one day using sure.
Hello everyone i have mi 10t when i put my phone on charge it charge normally but give me only 3000 ma when i turn off display it gives me 5500 ma when i am on call it give me around 660 ma what is reason behind this (before this device i have OnePlus 8 pro that Device don't have bug like this can it will be solve by custom rom please reply ):::::::::::::::

Yes, I complete agree with points of @Mikami15
Very usable ROM, with ForkLineage maybe only one with good battery life. (ForkLineage have 100% working OTG, even NTFS in default.)

I installed the ROM recently. ROM is butter smooth, however I noticed charging is showing limited to 14.4W via original charger. Does the ROM not support Fast charging or the read out is wrong?
Also, a side question, as per whyle's TWRP OP, I went into TWRP through command
fastboot flash recovery <twrp.img>
After that, I did format data and I provided prevent-twrp-replace
However, stock recovery keeps coming back even after flashing this rom and magisk.
How can I prevent this from happening?
