Collection of Magisk Modules v2

This guide hasn't been updated in about 5 years.
Please see the XDA article Best Magisk modules instead.
Original thread by LarappsOfDongle
See also Magisk Modules for OnePlus 3T.
I decided to create a new thread as the old one has been obsolete ever since the release of Magisk v9. Since then, cache modules are no longer supported and some features have been integrated like busybox (removed in v13) and systemless hosts.
NOTE: This is not a place to get help with Magisk. Please see @Didgeridoohan's Magisk and MagiskHide Installation and Troubleshooting Guide. If you cannot find the answer to your question there, please post in the Magisk Support / Discussion thread.
This is also not a place to request Magisk modules. Please create your own topic starting with [REQUEST] in the title.
MAGISK IS NOT XPOSED. Xposed modules cannot be "ported" to Magisk.
If you need help with creating a Magisk module, please see the Assistance for Magisk Module Developers thread.
Unchanged modules
Mount Magisk (attached below)
This simple script mounts the magisk.img in recovery to /magisk to allow it to be edited in case a module or script is causing a bootloop. Or you can use Magisk Module Uninstaller or Magisk Manager for Recovery Mode.

I have my Dolby Atmos thread in my sig.
I've just recently started using Magisk again and I am very happy with how great it works but can someone clarify something... I have systemless hosts turned on so I can now download adaway from xda and have no issues with systemless right? I remember previous versions causing SafetyNet issues which I want to avoid.
I can just install adaway and enable with no worries?

No worries man, it's built-in to Magisk now. Once you enable the Systemless host the ones you install with Adaway only write to the Systemless host file in Magisk.

No, they're two different things. Remote Play requires the Sony Framework to run on non-Sony devices.
5X/6P Camera 60fps Recording Module
Tested with Camera NX but should work with other apps as I have included the media profiles xml.
No need to delete any files from the vendor partition as the latest version of Magisk (11.5/11.6) has fixed the previous vendor issues.
Just install and reboot!

Pixel Launcher Transparent Dock Module
I edited the stock NexusLauncherPrebuilt.apk using the hotseat pointers from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/themes-apps/mod-tutorial-pixel-launcher-smaller-t3499371
The app drawer correctly transitions from transparent to white when opened.

It's the media_profiles.xml thing. @iaTa could you remove the media_profiles.xml please, it's causing a FC on CameraNX.

Google Camera Port
Stable versions and configs for the OnePlus 3/3T.
[ FAQ's/Troubleshooting | Front camera fix | ARCore & Playground ]
Features:
Features depend on the GCam and Android version used, but overall:
- HDR+ Enhanced, Night Mode, Portrait Mode, Timelapse, Motion Photos, Lens Blur, Panorama, Photo Sphere, Photobooth, Motion tracking.
- Video (30/60FPS at 1080p, 30FPS at 4K), Timelapse, Slow motion (with a fix, check the FAQs for more info).
- ARCore and Playground (follow this guide);
How to use:
1. Download and open/install the apk file (how to).
2. Unless there's a "configs" or "suggested settings" link next to the download link or some settings posted with the apk, the app is ready for use.
- Some *old* versions require the front camera fix. 3T users also need this fix in order to take 16MP photos with the front camera.
- Feel free to explore the settings, but keep in mind that enabling the wrong options will cause problems.
- Issues? Check the troubleshooting post.

Differences between developers:
It all comes down to compatibility and the number of features available. Some developers do more work than others. For example, BSG and Arnova8G2 usually fix bugs and add important features while others only do small changes so the app can perform better on the 3/3T. Some of those changes are only visual (eg: different menus). [more info]
Best developers for the OnePlus 3 and 3T:
Usually versions from Arnova8G2, Tolyan009, and Urnyx05 work well on our phones. If you're looking for older versions, have a look at apks from Skulshady and Ivanich. Apks from other devs usually need the front camera fix.
OxygenOS vs custom ROMs:
This port works better on custom ROMs. Some features may not work on OOS without breaking something. Even if you don't use this app, consider moving to a custom ROM for security (link, link, link) and privacy (link) reasons. ROMs like LineageOS are great replacements for OOS in terms of features, updates, and security.

FAQ & Troubleshooting:
You can find answers for common questions and issues on this page:
- FAQs / troubleshooting.
OnePlus 3/3T specific FAQs:
OnePlus 3T 4MP front camera limitation:
Compared to the 3, the 3T has a different camera sensor that uses "pixel binning" (groups each group of 4 pixels into 1). To unlock the full resolution, you need to install the front camera fix. This requires Magisk (root).
Only use this if you have a 3T and really want 16MP. All versions linked on the main thread work without this fix.
Slow motion crash:
Slow motion is broken or has limitations since Android 8. There are a few solutions available if you need slow motion:
- (If GCam has working slow motion) Select the correct FPS:
Sometimes the default FPS set by the app is not supported by the OP3/3T. Some apps allow you to change this: explore the app's settings and look for something related to slow motion FPS. Select 120FPS or "1/4" and restart the app.
- (Android 8 and 9 only) Slow Motion Fix:
A magisk module is available here: Slow Motion Fix
This fix may cause instability/issues on some ROMs or GCam versions. It's not perfect, but works for many users. Some Google Camera versions don't support slow motion out of the box, so try the latest available on the main thread.
- Use the Nokia camera app:
The Nokia camera can be used to record slow motion videos. If you don't mind doing this, install the app and use it only for slow motion: com.hmdglobal.camera2_8.1041.71-linuxct-8104171.apk

@gordito_gr I installed Vertex (Oneplus 3 + Vertex 20170809 + Magisk 13.3 + the Magisk Module) and it's working here.
I have the Oneplus 3, perhaps this doesn't work on the Oneplus 3T?
Thanks for the feedback!

I have exactly the same setup as you, Oneplus 3.
The first time it saved 60 fps video, all working as intended.
The second, i was shooting and focusing normally but i had issues saving the file.
I couldnt play the video with any player, and thumb was black.
After that, i got errors, camera force closing etc
Also, after installing the xposed module, stock camera on vertex (oos port) could not save videos at all, maybe you can check that as well.

Oh ffs.
I did a +1 min video test and then recorded another small video (~10 seconds) and got no error. Now I tried it again with a long video and you're right, the app crashes ("problem with the media recorder") on VertexOS. I should have tested more before posting it here. Lesson learned.
But... for some reason... it doesn't crash on Sultan's LOS.
on stock beta it disables 1080p recording at 60fps of the stock camera app
Tested this on OMNI. (OP3)
Both 60fps and Slomo work on Gcam.
I tested the OOS camera Port to check if I still have RAW support and all is good.
You can add OMNI to the list. :good:
Google Camera refuses to boot after flashing this. It keeps force closing. Have tried several things it's just not working for me.

But the Google Camera app records videos at 60fps, right? If doesn't I will add OOS to the "not compatible" list.

Nice Have you tried long videos?
After recording a +2 min video, I tried to record another one and the app crashed. I rebooted and now I can record multiple long videos again. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Which ROM? Using the OP3 or OP3T?

correct. stock beta has 60fps. i just wanted to try it for the sake of trying. but the google cam with 60fps and 30fps is working. but disables 60fps on stock camera app because of that magisk module

Most defenatly.
No problems here. I won't say it won't happen, but tested this extensively before posting, I read upfront you were having such issues and can't reproduce the app crash for now.
Video still not working on Sultan OS OP3. File is not saved.
This seems to work very well with OmniROM, CarbonROM and NucleaRom. I recorded long videos (10-30 minutes) on these ROMs and had no issues.
It crashes on official LineageOS, but not always. For example, I was able to record a 5 min video without any issues, but then got the "problem with the media recorder" error on a 1 min video.
I've noticed that BSG released two new updates, but sadly both new versions break the video autofocus on this phone. Also, the video is too dark, so something is messing up the ISO... keep using the version 1.
Out of curiosity I used Google Camera from Google Play and while there's no HDR and video autofocus is broken, I was able to record 60fps video (with the Magisk Module) even on LineageOS without the app crashing...

It does work on latest PA 7.2.3 RELEASE. I checked it with BSG's Modded GCam. 30FPS/60FPS 1080p with Video Stabilization and 120FPS Slomo both working fine.
And it does not break the stock SD+ camera.

Did you tried to record long videos? Eg: +5 min.
When I tested this on the previous PA build, it would record small videos (~1 min) without problems, but crashed if the video was longer.
Thanks
Confirm this working on experienceOS. Burst, 60fps in video, lens blur and slow motion.
PA 7.2.3, all following instructions in 1st posts. 60 fps, lens blur, panorama working. Thanks OP!
EDIT. Almost forgot, if you see suttering WHILE RECORDING in 60 FPS, don't worry, after you watch your record, it will be smooth

Latest bootloader/modem is always recommended. You don't have to install it, but if you encounter any issues with signal etc you may need to.

Aah ok, its understandable..
I've notice rom is using NFE base, how comes theres no kernel for flat device, only edge device is supported.
Rom will boot up using ported kernel like Moro, TS, Arionoxx, Deluxe etc.. ?
Magisk ctsprofile and basic integrity false....
Please help....
is it possible not to have the navbar?

I would personally believe it was up to the discretion of the maintainer to keep it separate. I am aware myself that flashing flat kernel on this rom is possible etc.

Is ur Magisk running well???

[MOD][MAGISK REQUIRED] 60fps Video recording

The original thread is here: 4PDA Thread
The files required on the original thread are here: || 4PDA Magisk module || 4PDA Camera, from the telegram group ||
I have uploaded them to Mega because otherwise you must register on 4PDA: MEGA
Instructions:
Download the file from Mega on the device
Unpack the file(you should now have two files, an apk and a zip file)
Open Magisk--Modules and add the zip file
Now install the camera apk, don't open it yet
Reboot
[OPTIONAL] I'm not sure if this passage is always required so if the new camera app doesn't open you need to switch the selinux to Permissive with this app Selinux Mode Changer. Open the app, tap on Permissive. Now try to open the camera app.
Enjoy
Tested on:
LOS16, RR7. Both built by @AndyYan (Thank you!)
LOS 17
I'm not the author of the mod. The intention of this thread is to share it on XDA.
If you are the author or a contributor send me a PM and I will add credits to the thread.
Nice, works perfect.
Tested on MIUI 10.5 by xiaomi.eu 9.8.1
