Hi members!
I own an officially unlocked SM-N910T mobile (updated to latest MM 6.0.1) and currently using it in India. I can use 4g LTE for data but VoLTE doesn't work on my phone.
My network operator JIO provides LTE/VoLTE on Band 3, 5 and 40. I have enabled VoLTE from Settings > Calls > Call settings but no joy
VoLTE is enabled on my SIM and I can use it on another mobile.
I have been trying to understand what could be the issue over last 2 weeks but without any satisfactory answer from anyone.
So, I am wondering:
1. Is it because I don't have Indian CSC on my T-mobile phone? Is it even possible to flash Indian CSC on this device?
2. Is it because my device IMEI is 'NOT -INDIAN IMEI" and hence not supported? Customer care gives me more confusing answers - sometimes they say my phone is compatible for VoLTE and some say only Indian devices are supported.
3. Is something still locked to TMOBILE even after the official unlock?
Any answers are really appreciated from the any of you!

It may be a regional thing. My 910t uses volte on straight talk in the states with an att sim with no issues. Surprised me actually.
Same problem for me too.. I too own N910T.. Volte is enabled but Call failed error comes again nd again..... Can Anyone please help out....

Hi devbiju, thanks for pointing me to the post, but more help is appreciated. I did change my rom to RAM-rom. how do i set the IMS-APN. whenever i add the IMS apn, it doesn't stick

After RAM Rom installation you can flash INU CSC, Dr Ketan uploaded it in some threads which i forgot.
for IMS apn , you simply create new APN with name and type as IMS and save it. It may not be listed or need not be selected in APNs list. but you could see the VoLTE in status bar after creating it. Also ensure that you create jionet APN first to get LTE access instead of using default jio APN settings.

I have a unlocked 910-T on Cricket and I can't use WiFi calling or VoLTE. And I got there new SIM card and still no go.
Most posts I am seeing about unlocking bootloader and custom roms are for XT1921-5. I cannot seem to find this phone anywhere. Is this the USA variant? The closest I have found is the XT1921-3 (Boost Mobile) variant here

I'm just doing "get a free phone from MetroPCS" due diligence so I don't have the phone in hand, but it looks like the XT1921-3 is actually the T-Mobile/MetroPCS (USA) version, which has been problematic for ppl. Good news is that it now has a factory image available (see thread here, although no clear reports on that yet . . . one seems to imply there was a problem with it, but I'm not totally clear).
So I'm not by any means an expert on Motorola firmware, but I'd be surprised if Boost (CDMA, right?) had the same model # as T-Mobile (GSM)--and I'm a little overtired but didn't see any note of the Motorola model # on the Best Buy link you provide.
In any case, not sure about bands and such, but hope that tidbit helps a little, in case you do in fact need something for the T-Mobile variant (-3), or if it's the same as Boost and I'm just a moron.

I would like to lock bands [network bands ] in my j7 prime but unfortunately due to flashing customs roms and kernels I'm unable to access servicemode to lock my preferred band. Please if any developer could develop an app or a script or something of that sort to lock Bands would be helpful. Also I tried the shortcutmaster lite method. I humbly request developers for the above mentioned item.

Bro, whatever is official rom or customized rom you cant change the preferred band. Happended to me too.
Hello. 5G network is comming soon . I make today method for unlock 5G on 700mhz for this device . Problematic is only icon od network because 5G network is visible as 4G (have only 4G icon , but work in 5G mode , speedtest say the same) . Unlock method to avalaible soon , and publish in this thread . This method unlock all bands supported by device . Avalaible info about device is on frequencycheck.com with all bands . Unlocked all bands is visible on screenshot's in atach . What do you think about 5G on this device ???? Unlock 5G working only in european region devices and global . Devices from other regions have only unlocked new bands , I don't test this method on devices from other regions .
What you need to do that:
1.Any Qualcomm device - with this guide you unlock only Qualcomm cpu devices
2.NV values
3.QPST and QXDM for edit values
4.Installed lineageos with magisk
5.Network guru app for enable new bands after correct programing
6.ADB and FASTBOOT - with drivers to device too
7.Minimum 1 hour for do that
OK. Let's go:
Download drivers and flash lineageos with twrp - you need to install magisk and lineageos - Method for unlock don't work with stock miui .
Install drivers and turn on developer settings in your device and check 3 adb options for correct set all .
If you have magisk and lineagos , you can start adb and write command adb shell , in shell you need to write and press enter this command setprop sys.usb.config diag .
Start QPST and add port
Start QXDM , and find nv values (look down)
Change values and press write - do the same for second sim card (look up on qxdm and check dual sim , set this values for 0 and 1 if no possible you brick your device without option recovery signal. Write values to 0 and 1 after write press read and check . Do that with all values . Make copy of your values to notepad txt file for your safety . Reboot device , install network signal guru and lock all bands in 2G,3G,CDMA,4G . Device find 5G network on 700mhz as ''4G'' network because radio don't have icon and name for 5G .
More info and know how soon if i find some time for do that.

For enable total all bands in this device or other device with qualcomm cpu you must enter this values:

This values working on all rooted devices with qualcomm cpu inside with all wariants of cpu. If you want to share or publish this values write to me pm.
IMPORTANT: You must disable unused bands in EU if you are in EU in this app by uncheck in lock bands option CDMA frequencies . If you don't do that , your device to be scan all bands next five minutes than find signal !! If you are in other country , you can find in google frequencies used in your country and enable it only .

3.I makeing know/how for users with instruction how to unlock radio
4.I make patched lineageos based on last available (look up) , with deodex for next unlocking
5.I need testers listen to me how to do all step by step , because one mistake, one point not do and you have hard brick radio and phone without signal ... i must end my work , users must have lineageos for correct unlock because magisk with stock rom not working and device don't have su libaries and busybox needed for unlock . Users and you bro must wait not too long . Say me what is your contry , i need to check bands for lte in your country and what is your model - I have from -EG series (backside phone have model) ????

Soo... After update unlocked is all bands avalaible for this CPU . Actually soon I publish how to unlock all bands + 5Ghz Wi-Fi mode . All bands working correct.

And by 5g you meant 5ghz wifi or 5g mobile network? If it's 5g mobile network unlock then may i use your guide?

Did you say unlock bands won't be of much help to me because my device has all indian bands and 5g is yet unavailable in india?

On my device after little ''re-work'' agregation working , but i testing now it . Working stable .
5G network on 700mhz , but 700mhz working only in EU and maybe in US . 5 GHZ wifi , i plan to enable because CPU support that . I don't know why wifi on 5Ghz is disable , but I enable it later .
In india 5G network working , but i'm not sure band .

First try to use lineageos + network guru app and unlock all bands to values from second values and reboot . In guru app disable all cdma bands , activate all wcdma , gsm , lte and reboot . This possbile activate it automaticly , if not add comment .
Big thanks for that, I didn't know that is possible. Here in Germany we have Band 28 (700 MHz) for LTE (But also for 5G). Will it also be activated when I follow your instructions, or only for 5G? LTE B32 (1500 MHz) would be good too. Could you name the values for it? Or a guide on how to find them out?

Soo... Possbile you activate 2 bands 4G and 5G for 700mhz . You need only lineageos because i'm not sure how it working in stock rom . First published values unlock all bands of LTE and 5G too . For correct working please install network app guru , gapps
if you need , magisk for correct working of network guru app and lock bands all after unlock and reboot . If you after reboot lock in app all bands of lte you activate too 5G working . You can see in app band actually working , 700mhz working correct after unlock . I waiting for 700mhz in Poland because we don't have this band but i test in germany 700mhz (travel to germany in moment of tests 700mhz ) . Soon i Publish fixed lineageos for 5G and 4G network speed . I can disable lte band but there is no option to disable cdma bands in network signal guru app

Hello Guys,
So I bought a pixel 5 from the US (through amazon "003.C1"). When it arrived to my country (Bahrain) I realized that 5g is locked by google to few carriers only.
and I realised that both 5g and VOLTE is not working even though they work just find with my brother S20 Ultra.
I rooted my phone in hope to find a way to enable 5g and VOLTE.
is there anyway to unlock it ? i heard oneplus users had to change a file.
I was able to locate the carrier MBN files. Im not sure though if I can just edit them or I will have to have them edited through magisk. it seems like the files are getting regenerated on boot. unsure though

i can see that Bahrain, Qatar and many other countries seem to be commented.
Maybe that's something we need to modify ?

I tried using the patch in this thread. Interestingly enough after using it now I can see the VOLTE option in the settings. However it doesn't seem to work. Even when enabled whenever I'm on a phone call I can't use the internet

I dont think the variant matters, I think all variants will work with all certified carriers.
I believe somehow we need to add the profile of our carrier to allow for both 5g and VOLTE to be enabled.
If you are willing and rooted try the one on this thread, it is suppose to be for KSA Stc but it might work with yours, however i do not think it will enable 5g, but it might enable VOLTE

I tried to unpack the magisk module on this thread and replace the the one mbn he use with others. There is one problem with that though. I cant find an mbm file from a 5G phone that i can replace the original with..
If we can have mbm from another phone that support 5g we might be able to be able to enable 5g.
Another problem is that i do not understand these files well and im not sure if i can just modify one or have to replace it, would appreciate it if anyone got a resource or something i can read to help me understand how these files work and if i can create one from scratch
I succesfully managed to enable 5G connectivity for my Pixel 5 in Finland. Essentially you need root and QPST tool to modify the carrier policy.

Will give it a try once I'm home and will update back. I really wish it works. But ain't it hard to get to QOST with pixel 5. I tried few times but I will look into the post in your thread and check again

I did flash it some days ago when experimenting, but I’m not sure if it impacts the end result.
