Question Something weird happening on vivid mode - Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

Received my S21U yesterday and noticed a weird thing happens when vivid mode is on.
Basically, the colours change when apps take up the whole screen. It's mostly a slight change but it's really visible on skin tones. On my device when things are full screen, people's faces look pale, yellow and washed out. This disappears immediately if I put the app into pop-up view, splitscreen, or if I open another pop up app over the top. It also disappears if I swipe up to go to recent apps and the current app minimizes. It's annoying because the skin tones look normal and healthy when not full screen. Then as soon I full screen whatever I'm looking at the colours change straight away before my eyes and I see the washed out yellow skin tones appear. This doesn't happen on natural mode or when eye comfort is on, it only happens with vivid.
The same issue happened on my Note 20 Ultra, but the yellowed/washed out colours were SO much worse that I ended up returning it. Oddly enough it doesn't happen on my Tab S7+.
If you have a spare minute and you'd like to see if this happens on your device, open this random image of the legend William Hung full screen with vivid mode on. Then try swiping up to see recent apps and then tapping the app to full screen the image again. If the same thing happens on your device you should notice the skin tones change. He should look normal when the window isn't full but on full screen he looks really yellow and ill. The same should happen if you open it in split screen or popup view or open another app in pop up view over the top.
Anyone else noticed this or know why it happens? It actually kind of annoys me as the skin tones look ugly and at this price point I expect everything to be perfect.
Cheers!
Cheers!

Just checked, and I'm unable to duplicate that problem with the picture you shared. No change it skin tone at all.

NVM, I see what you mean. I see a darker shade in the recent apps menu when I swipe up, and then when I go back to the original image, it gets lighter. NOt a big deal to me. Why does it bother you?

Changing Home screen background back to normal?

I forgot to lock my phone before putting it in my pocket, and now I have one of the blank "Contact Favourite Silhouette" pictures as my background instead of the all black background of the normal HTC TF3D...
I have no idea how to change it back to normal. Can someone help. (I think I have tried all the obvious places.)
Thanks in Advance.
if you go back to settings-background it asks if you want to use the default background then you choose yes and its back to normal
Under settings, I have 3 tabs. Personal, System and Connections. I do not see background under any of them? Am I missing something?
you have to go to settings through tf3d menu, the logo next to the weather, there you will see settings, and background
Although I feel stupid for missing that I cant thank you enough. You have no idea how annoying it was looking at that horrible background. Thankd again !!
ahah no problem

[Q] How to disable ribbons

Hi,
I've just installed PAC-MAN's 4.2.2. Really good ROM and I spotted a little third icon in the notification center.
Then I tapped on that, suddenly a little circle popped up on my screen and just sticked to the left. Then things becomes really annoying, because this little thing just does not go away. I went into the settings - ROM Control - Ribbons, and tried menu - reset ribbons again and again. Still can't get rid of this. Can somebody please tell me how to make this little circle thing disappear?
This little circle thing is really annoying. I'm not sure if this is the official feature of Android, or is it just the dev team's work? It takes the job of Notification center and pops out every single time I get new push notifications. I already see what the notification is from the status bar, and can easily deal with it in the dropdown notification center, so I do not need this thing to tell me again! What's worse, this thing takes up screen space, considering Galaxy Exhibit's screen is already a tiny one. And now I just don't know how to deal with it, letting it sitting there popping up randomly and I just can't turn the thing off.
Then I see that maybe the dev team has brought the idea of Ubuntu's idea. The point is, Ubuntu's idea is just a vertical dock, and the dock idea is not only Mac OS X's, but also Android's - look at the "phone" "contact" and "app drawer" icons at the bottom of the screen! I can't say this is a bad idea, but, please, give me the option to disable it.
Double tap and drag to the x. I think.
OMG it magically worked...
Thanks a lot!!!

Galaxy Camera EK-GC200 losing wallpaper

Since having the camera, the wallpaper I choose never stays for long and the camera reverts back to a gradient blue on home screen and lock screen. Every morning when I check it, see it has gone back to the default blue.
The issue occurs whether I use the other available internally stored OEM wallpapers or alternate.
Any ideas?
Same thing happens to me, but my Google account also disappears. Sometimes it happens at the same time, and sometimes it's just the wallpaper. The interestng part is that when I used a completely custom wallpaper it never happened -- only when I used one of the stock wallpaper choices.

Edge Features

As far as I know I have enabled notifications and setting for the edge features, but I can't seem to figure out how to get any of them to actually show up. When the phone is locked and the screen is off, touching, tapping, or swiping the edges and nothing happens. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong? Any thoughts suggestions?

Found out, there's a secret squirrel motion that you have to do on the edge that is set in settings. When I get a text from one of the people setup in my favorite contacts wakes the phone up. I can swipe on the edge where the visible notification bar is to have it expand out, but I'd assume instead if waking up the phone it would show the selected notifications in the edge screen.

As cool and the edge display is its pretty useless ATM.
Well not useless persay more like limeted. I can think of some good future uses like maybe a youtube where all the info stuff is pushed to the edges so takes up less screen space, notification pushing just to the edge light the edge and not waking up the phone. using just the edge to check the time saving battery ((good for while working)) I'm hoping for someone to get api's to open up programms to use the edge as a sliders for productivity stuff but thats just hoping.
I think a real missed oppertunity here from samsung with this phone and considering they used a glass back was making a touch interface there for like scrolling web pages and selecting stuff without having to touch the front screen interruping your view.

I'm thinking it just hasn't been a big concern of theirs. It bothers me from time to time. For instance I can't always grab it and swipe it away because it's not really located where it shows it... But I've just come to live with it, been almost 2 years now.
