Question Slow loading of apps - Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

Hi all. I am 4 days into the S21 ultra and I am finding it is becoming slow to load most apps - BBC news/Daily Mail/My fitness pal - the latter two take around 15 seconds. Apps with lots of images dont show the images for around 30 seconds (mostly newspaper websites - The Times/BBC/ the Sun. I had tested side by side with my Mate 20 Pro which opens apps fully in seconds. Has anyone else had this issue?

I just tried BBC app and it was instantaneous. I think you might be having something running in your background. As for apps with lots of images, I have google photos with 10 years of photo in it and it opens instantaneously too!

maybe you should try to backup your google photo data, i know a device can help it.

YouTube App

Can anyone explain why the official Youtube app by Google performs so pathetically?
The design is not bad, but buffering and loading often takes centuries, and sometimes just dies and says network error when my internet is perfectly fine. And then the commenting, not only is the Google+ thing horrible, now the comment on this app also STOPS the video, and sometimes loads forever and wouldn't even work?
I'm really surprised by this because even on Windows Phone 8 there's 3rd party Youtube apps that works miles better than this one (and of course Google had to block MS by making their own Official app which was also pretty good)
I remember when I first started using my TF201 the app was actually in a better place than this, the panoramic view was cool and everything at least works. Am I the only one that feels this way?

Youtube App Issues

I have an AT&T Note 5 on the latest stock rom.
Youtube is updated to the latest Google Play version.
Two issues are happening. First if I'm scrolling down my list of subscriptions and decide to watch a video. I rotate my phone to watch in full screen, then when I swipe the video down, I am back at the top of the list again, and have to scroll all the way down to get back to my position on the list. Am I missing a setting?
Secondly I noticed that sometimes the videos won't play. I choose a video and it shows the first frame, and just sits there, and never loads, never plays. The only way to fix this is to choose Recent Apps and close all the apps. Does this have to do with the aggressive memory management that the Note 5 is known to have?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Video doesn't load in Photos app

I've searched multiple forums and attempted to work with Samsung support (they want me to send tablet to them).
If I try to load a video (not take on this device) from Google Photos app, the video preview comes up but the loading circle just keeps spinning. The same video through Photos app on my android phone on the same wifi connection doesn't have any problem and loads instantly.
I've tried some replacement apps and they seem to do the same or similar thing.
I have a fairly new SM-T810 (only a few months old) and this issue has always been this way...just haven't dug into the problem until now..
Overall, internet browsing on the table is relatively quick and if I go to a site like ESPN within Chrome and play a video on the page it loads fine.
I am currently using DHCP to my router, though I have tried manual setup. I am using a 192.168.1.XXX setup.
Through forums and Samsung, I've tried the normal clear cache/data, uninstall updates, restart tablet, factory reset tablet.....and nothing seems to resolve the issue.
If anyone has a suggestion, I'm certainly open to it. If more information is needed I can certainly make it available.
Thank you in advance.
The photos app is able to stream it direct from google servers, however I think it's only a preview and not full quality or it will play the local version.
3rd party apps will play it, but will download it first.
Samsung keeps saying the only way to fix this is to send them the device. I just find it hard to believe this is a hardware issue.
Seems like it's a software issue with the tablet itself or at least it's integration of handling videos. Smaller videos seem to load after a while (loading instantly on my android phone)...but large videos never load at all (after waiting minutes). Again, start playing within a second or so on my android phone.

General laggyness outside of core UI

There is a lot that I like about this phone. But coming from near stock Android on the OnePlus 3t, outside of the core UI (home screen, lock screen, settings, etc) I find the P20 Pro a bit laggy. This mainly occured in slightly more involved apps like Facebook, Google maps, Google photos etc. For example try going into maps and jumping between navigation, reviews, the map view etc. It really stutters. And in photos, try swiping between images, it's so slow.
Is this something other people are experiencing? Would I benefit from a factory reset or change of settings? Or maybe this is just the result of crappy Huawei software?
Only place I see it in is Google photo and a little bit in Tapatalk. Everywhere else it's lagg free

I've had the phone act laggy and lag free. What puzzles me is this: I can factory reset and have facebook etc scroll lag and stutter free. I can then do another factory reset and experience a stutter fb scroll. I have repeated this at least 4 times on the same firmware with around a week each. At the moment I have a stutter facebook scroll and slight lags on maps etc. This time i'm going to live with it until the next update and use that as an excuse to reset. Fingers crossed I get a lag free start.

Fox now and nbc apps are launched very slowly

Hey guys, I have chromecast with google tv and when I open fox now and nbc apps it take more than a minute to launch them, while other apps are launched fine, and on my google tv it takes seconds to launch fox now and nbc apps.. I was wondering if there is a way to fix that...
thank you in advance!
Turn off energy optimization on the apps that freeze or take a long time to launch I did this on all my apps on my usb stick . Now everything loads alot faster. I believe it's under apps special permissions
