Is there any difference between the Reno5 5G camera modules and Pro version of mobile?
For me main Camera is the main reason to purchase this device, and if they are the same in Pro version I don't see any reason paying +100$ (I don't care about curved screen/CPU/NFC).
Hey, Greetings. I am currently using the pro version of Oppo. The new Oppo F21 Pro. I think there is just a slight difference in features and enhancements. As you mentioned there is not a big difference. So we definitely should go for a lesser one.

What is it you like about the 7 Pro that differs from P30 Pro? I don't see any benefits myself...
I saw a couple video reviews of the 7 pro and the audio quality seems really bad which puts me off. But then again the oneplus will have better root/rom support and has a better screen. I would miss the ultra fast charging of the P30 pro too much to make the switch.. But its preference really.

I'd hang fire a bit, P30 is awesome but seems like huawei released it 'unfinished'. I think it's true potential will only come to light after a few more updates. I hope so anyway, this was hella lotta cash to have some faulty stuff with it out the box; cartoon wobble issue from front facing cam, red tinge issue, shocking 4k stutter during video panning. Main things for me. However, have taken some of the best pics so far on a smartphone (tried most current flagships), 1080p is good enough and things are improving update by update. I also feel of all the gesture implementations (pixel 3,oplus etc.) huawei nailed it. Hopefully there will be further improvements, enough for me hold on a while yet. If your a root and rom lover op7 gonna tempt you over, won't be long before gcam gives it a boost too. Personally need a phone to work as intended, too much time wasted flashing and putting phone in a less capable state for the sake of some 'enhancement', 'feature'. But yeah, tempted as you maybe, definitely wait a bit, be hard to forgo this camera tech. Have a look into the USB method to get you up to. 153 already. Phone is super smooth after this. Await more cam improvements though. :good:

any new opinions on this topic, I just broke my Honor View 10 and need to replace the phone, P30 pro or OP 7Pro have similar prices (used ones)
P30 pro have better battery life and camera (maybe), but OP 7Pro will have longer support but P30 is getting v2 because of all USA bullcrap and bans ( not sure what that can mean for older P30 and their updates)
P30 Pro is cheaper (used and can find one with 6GB instead of 8GB more expensive variant)
any suggesstions what to get?

My Mi5s is two years old, so, i've started to look for a new device, first, i thought about Poco F1 coz its a good phone and relative cheap, then mi9 dropped significantly its price, it was above $500 when its launched and now, we can find this piece of tech for about $359.
So, when i was willing to buy, i saw two new phones which got my attention, k20 pro ($379) and Lenovo Z6 pro ($389).
Lenovo is the best in specs and battery life
Poco is one year old, but still great and also cheaper of all of them
Mi9 is the 2nd best 2019 phone yet (OnePlus 7 is the best)
K20 pro is a kind of improvement of Mi9 (like Mi9s).
These are my opinion, what about your? could u help me to choice a new phone?

My option would be, Mi9! Surprise!!
Just buy what you think is best for you, and stay offline for the next 2 years, you will always have a better option a few months later.

K20 pro is not an improvement . It stands between mi9 and mi9 SE , same processor than mi9 , worst cameras

According to the specs, cameras are the same, Sony IMX 586 sensor, aperture and size.

also b28 lte band in favor for mi9 which makes a big diff in my city!
btw, if they have same processor and theoretically same modem (x24), why do they not have the same bands? its software (firmware) or hardware problem?

I am using an S10+ since May and I am not having problems with it.
Though I wonder if the mi 9t pro camera + gcam 7 is not way better than the exynos S10+?
Or the difference is minimal?
Regarding the camera, I honestly think that S10's is superior, but when it comes to GCam, both should be in the same level. Especially with the same settings.
But the Exynos CPU is definitely "weaker" than Snapdragon, principally when it comes to gaming, as the games tends to throttle much less in SD, and are also more optimized for it.
Yeah in terms of performance MI9T PRO/K20 PRO is ahead.
But i guess when comparing in other areas like camera nd ONE UI. Samung kiLLs
i wanted to buy Samung S10 plus but in my country only Exynos version is available. Earlier i have used NOTE 4 Exynos. And there arent ROMS for Exynos chipset. and Then i bought K20 pro.
with GCAM it can take some really good shots.
I went from HTC U12 to an exynos S10e and had to return it, although it was a beautiful screen and design it was dropping phonecalls when I was driving. I found the S10e to have a slightly over processed and saturated look on the camera.
I've had the Mi9T Pro 8/256 since it was launched and its a good HTC substitute, camera wise it is good but I do miss OIS. But with a bit of practice GCam does take a good shot, I'm no pro though.

I hope you guys can help me. I wanna buy a new phone but i dont wanna spend more than 500€ - at the moment iam using my Oneplus 6 which is really great but i search for a smartphone with a better Cam (OP6 -> 16+20MP).
Do you can really recommend the X2 Pro? I saw a lot of videos that the quality of the cam is not the best ...
What do you think about the X3 Superzoom? i also saw here that the quality isnt good, extremly bad
Do you know when you cant recommend it another smartphone which is better?

If you want the best cam out there, then you should look elsewhere. Otherwise this is a pretty good camera for the price. It's just a shame that photo processing in the stock cam is quite bad, though it really shines with the GCam, you can't use wide and telephoto lenses (in the stock ROM).
I'd give it an 8.5/10 with the GCam.
If you want a better camera for that price, look at the Poco F2 phone. So every phone has good and bad components. The X3 has an IPS panel...... So every time 1-2 components are not my first choice under 500€. The camera at the realme X2 Pro is OK. The charging is top. The CPU is good but from 2019. Battery is good, but if you have 20% you have to know that it came from two battery's. So I charge at 20%. Realme One UI software is ok but not oneplus. For me it feels like Huawei. All Google stuff and realme software can't be deleted, only with adb or root.
At the first week I think to give it back. After a month I am really good with that phone.

I went. From the 6T to the X2 pro and I have been really happy, particularly with the 90hz screen,stereo speakers, battery and superior fingerprint.The cameras are decent but you will probably need gcam to get the best out of them.
If I were you though I would be looking at the Poco f2 pro which has the newer 5g enabled SD 865 and better specs overall except for the speakers and 90hz.
The X2 pro is good though, RealmeUI is decent too and it's a good deal.You can get the 12gb ram 256gb storage at a good price too while the Poco only see to have 6/128 variant at the moment,

hey guys hoping someone might be able to help me out. i Just brought a realme x2pro and i was in the smart assistant page and in the settings i accidentally unsubscribed my events and it accidentally deleted the calendar that shows up on the smart assistant page. i was wondering how do i get the calendar display to show back up on the smart assistant screen. if anyone can help would be great thanks
Good day guys! I'm having a dilemma whether to swap my Poco X3 Pro 8/256 to RN10 Pro. I'm not much of a heavy gamer. More like an emulator guy such as AetherSx2/PPSSPP. Is it worth to swap my unit over to RN10Pro. I really missed having an AMOLED unit since i came from Samsung and Amoled unit. Bonus the camera! Can it run such basic settings on emulator. I'm worried i can't get the same experience. And also in my country theres a lot of unit that went having an issue with cam/bluetooth/sounds. Do i need to stay or swap it ? Thank You! Any suggestions are welcome.
Well, you have to deal with performance loss, x3 pro soc is definitely better than rn10 pro. Yes, rn10 pro is has a better camera sensor, but does it captures better photos? Doubtful unless you are avid photographer and expert in tinkering with gcam. Why not wait for Xiaomi 12T instead? It's just around the corner. Same camera setup as rn10 pro + ois, and way better soc. It's definitely an upgrade option, not just a "swap"
