No sound when using google hotword - Google Pixel 5 Questions & Answers

On my previous phones, when I'd use "ok google" or "hey google," it would make a kind of "badoop" sound or whatever. When I use the hotword with my pixel 5, however, it's pure silence. Is there any way to turn that sound back on?

I would also like to know.

[Q] Silencing Moto X completley?

Is there a way to completely silence every and all sounds from the Moto X?
Even when I have the volumes for Ringer, Media, and Alarm all set to 0, if I accidentally sat the "Ok Google Now" hotword, it still makes a launch beep.
I can disable to launch beep in the Touchless Control menu, but if I accidentally said something after I accidentally launched Touchless control and the phone starts calling/googling, it still makes a beep.
This is bad if an ambient noise manages to mimic my voice during a test or movie or something.

How would that be remotely possible?
Retrain your phone

Had th is phone for a few days now. At first the touch less control would randomly activate. Retrained it and it has solved that problem.

[Q] Google Now without "Ok google"

periodically and at random, Google Now will turn on, E.G. My phone will be on the counter, TV playing in the background and out of the blue 'Now' turns on and tries to search, or phone will be resting in car side door holder, radio on in background and every once in a while google now will turn on and try do a search. None of the background noise sounds anything like "ok google!"
Would like to know if anyone else is experiencing this issue and /or knows of a fix
thanks
I haven't had it happen, but I would just re-train the phrase to your voice and see if it helps. I trained mine to respond to "OK Nexus" and I haven't had any issues.

[Q] Toggle hotword detection automatically?

Is there a way to automatically toggle Google Now hotword detection on and off, depending on WiFi or GPS state?
I use Trigger to silence my phone and set a PIN lock when I'm at the courthouse. That works well, but my phone sometimes launches Google Now, with the embarrassingly loud beep and voice prompts, when it thinks it's heard the launch phrase.
I also have Tasker, but I'm unable to figure out to toggle hotword detection on and off. Phone is a Verizon Turbo, so I have a locked bootloader and no root.
Thanks!

"Ok Google" hotword with always listening conflicting with Android Wear

When I want to use "ok google" voice command on my LG Urbane 1st gen my Nexus 5X listens to the command and wakes up. It doesn't have any problem with duplicated voice commands because the smartphone does not listen at all, but it's really disturbing because the screen goes on and sometimes does not turn off.
I remember when I had a Moto 360 with a Moto X, whenever I turned on the Moto 360 screen the Moto Voice commands and Google Voice commands would turn off automatically.
I don't know if it is a feature of the Moto 360 or if Google changed the behavior of the app.
Do anyone know how to make the always listening commands turn off when the smartwatch screen is on?

Google Assistant stops working through BT mic

Hello!
I'm using my Redmi 4X with a motorcycle BT intercom. It has a button for Google Assistant which works for a few times and then the phone stops listening through the microphone. I push the button, Google Assistant pops up, but it looks like it doesn't hear anything I'm trying to say. Is there anything in the options I should change? I already turned off "BT recording". Maybe it's my ROM? I'm on LOS16 (official).
