Question Battery stat always resetting - Xiaomi Mi 11

Hi, since last eea rom, m'y battery stat are always resetting after a certain moment. This morning , my stat where here and after disabling plane mode , they reset .Do you have this ?

On xiaomi.eu Rom, same problem, reset after 30 min...

Maybe it's due to 12.0.9

My stat reset every morning when I wake up. I stop plane mode and start wifi and bluetooth and then 3 minutes later battery stats are gone

mine are fine
also with 12.0.9 stats are there until 100% charged

I'm on 12.0.9.0, no issue in battery stats

i passed this in adb , what you advice after passing 12.0.9 version ,
adb shell pm disable-user com.android.traceur
adb shell cmd package bg-dexopt-job
can it be related ?

nope
1 does disable taceur the logging (i also did)
2 this basically does just run the bg-dexopt-job which also runs every other day when the device idles on 100% battery and charged
it's not related to your issue
but you can also revert #1 if you want
just switch disable-user with enable-user

Ok I found the app causing that. With xiaomi adb, I froze com.miui.powerkeeper. after reenable it, problem is gone

battery drain over night

Hi all
I installed SPB Mobile Shell 3.01 and i'm very happy with it. Everything worked fine for 3 weeks or so, battery drain was normal but for 3 days my diamond is dead in the morning.
I started a log using Battery Log and every night at 00:00 (12:00 AM) battery consumption increase from 13ma to ~135ma in suspend mode.
I don't have task or alarm set for that hour. What should i do?
Thanks.
Try all battery tweak you can find

Did you place the phone in a different spot in your room overnight than usual? If carrier reception is bad or flaky, the phone might need more power to connect/reconnect/keep the connection alive. This can change greatly depending on where the phone is placed in a room.

yeah the diamond wakes up at midnight. check your power options if something is messed up (even if you didnt change anything). perhaps after the diamond wakes up, it wont turn off the screen or something...
Just as a test. Disable SPB mobile shell before you go to sleep tonight to see what happens.
Also, what apps have you installed since installing SPB mobile shell??
I'm having the same problem with my Fuze. Two out of the last three nights (the other night I left it on the charger), the battery was at 70% or more at 1:00am, but at about 8:00am it was down to 10%.
I'm also running SBP Mobile Shell 3.0.1, and it and WinTask are the only things that should be running, other than S2U2 (v2.04). I recently flashed Da_G's latest Clean Fuze ROM (WM6.5), and I always used SBP Mobile Shell on a stock ROM before that with nothing like this issue.
I've noticed that the phone turns on at midnight, but this drain (in my case, at least) seems to be occurring later, while I'm asleep. I have not changed where I set my phone, and I've never had trouble getting a good signal in my room.
I'll try disabling Mobile Shell at night and see what happens.
thank you all for your answers, i was away for a while
I disabled spb, touch flow, i used a simple htc home desktop and it was ok since last night i found it dried out in the morning
the only thing i did i played with the wireless a little, then suspended at 80% battery.. maybe that's the reason... who knows
Sorry, I forgot to follow up on this.
I tried what I said I would, closing Mobile Shell at night, and at first it seemed to work, but it was inconsistent, and on at least one occasion it didn't work at all.
Since then I have found a solution, at least for my problem: I run iLock2 at night (to disable S2U2), and then run it again (to re-enable S2U2) in the morning. This has worked every night without fail.
I'm no expert, and nothing even close to a developer, but it seems like Slide 2 Unlock is keeping the phone from sleeping. I'm never going to stop using it, of course, because it's probably the single most important program I've installed on my phone, but it appears to be the cause of my battery drain problem.
If you use S2U2, give that a try. If not, I have no idea.

You could try TouchLockPro, because that uses very very less resource and has a positive effect on battery life (if your phone awakes, it will be suspended after 30 seconds if still locked).
Ok, I renew this topic because i have the same problem. I didn't install any program like spb shell, i just saw that after 12:00 Am the battery will drain vrey vrey quick, almos 1% per minute. I disabled touchflo 3d, but with no effect at all. I'm using this rom... It's made for western europe, I'm from Romania(eastern europe), and sometimes i think that there is some problem with the connections, bands, i don't know, maybe it's set for western europe bands. Also, when i enter the task manager, nothing shows in the list ... so i can't see if any program is running.
I think the problem is myPhone Sync. Try to disable the planed sync and everything schuld be fine. Manual sync works also fine.
I have a HD, and my battery was also draining very fast. Even during the day when I was doing nothing.
After disabling the myPhone service, it's normal again. So, no idea why, but the myPhone service seem to be constantly active and doing something (not synching to the MS servers, just doing 'something').
Very weird.

[Q] Why do I have the worst battery drain in the history of the SGS ????????

How's this for a battery drain. Completely at 0% yesterday, let it charge over night to 100% this morning.
Keep in mind the following is WITHOUT USING MY PHONE AT ALL (no calls, no texts, no net, no nothing - just had it turned on and in my pocket)
100% @ 8:30 am
91% @ 9:00 am
61% @ 11:00 am
22% @ 12:50 am
I didn't use my phone once - yet in one morning from 8:30am - 12:30 am (4 hours) it is almost at 20%
Can anyone tell me how this is even remotely possible ? How do I stop this? Do I have to buy a new bigger battery ?
This has been this case since my recent update to Froyo 2.2
If it keeps up I have to buy like 3 or 4 batteries to take with me if I go out somewhere or for the weekend. This makes no fking sense at all !!
Clear memory in task manager(level 2). Read the battery status on the phone then enable debugging mode on your device and plug to your PC and let it charge(not the wall charger), charge for 10 min., unplug and read the battery status again. Leave it for 1 hour and read again if you still get the huge drop.

huh? so your basically saying by enabling debugging mode on device and using my PC to charge that THIS will solve it ?
how does that even make sense

I'm not saying that this will solve it, I'm asking you to try it. The battery status is read by the kernel, it's not that your battery is bad or your phone does use a lot of juice but the reading may be wrong.
You don't have to try it if you don't want to, this was only a suggestion.

I will try it - but my phone is literally turning off every 5 hours because of an unknown battery drain (task manager is set at insane - closes all apps every time the screen is off) -- nothing is running at all other than ADW yet im losing about 25% battery per hour
disable task killer, use terminal/adb shell to run "top" and check whether any app is using a lot of cpu
Just root ur device and flash a new modem I use jpe it gives me 45-50 hrs with one charge

[Q] Non-functioning stamina/false battery reading.

hi !
At first i tried to get some GOOD answer from the official forum ,but... pfff.... lol : they said factory reset my phone ,delete batterystats.bin ,etc.
These are voodoos only and do not wok ! (OS always creates a new stats file after every charge)
Well ,here comes the problem(s) and the facts about my phone:
Warranty : yes
Model : c5303
Rooted : yes
Bootloader : unlock NOT allowed (LBL,never touched)
OS : Stock based. (no matter what ,i have the same issues)
Service center : NOT FAULTY
The problems :
1. A real example :today i had 61% charge. Powered off my phone for approx. 5 mins. After this turned ON ,and i had 81%. What the hell ??? It is a real charge level ,drains lineary it holds out till the end !
2. In official 4.3 and custom ROMs based on that ,STAMINA absolutely doesnt work. I have exactly the same standby time with or without it. Forget the force stop eco ,etc mode controller ,clear data, etc. It doesnt work !
Logcat LOG : http://pastebin.com/NSV7j68T
Created with my phone from a terminal window. If you need something else ,please let me know.
A real fact too : with stamina off ,the OS calculates the remaining uptime to ~4 days. I turn on STAMINA ,it displays ~15 days ,but after a few hours it lowers to the STAMINA OFF value. Why ????
3. Phone configured to totally OFFLINE mode in 2G. Just like an old Nokia 3210. EVERYTHING is off ! Everything. Even NFC too.
Freeze with Titanium Backup ? It doesnt help.
I have the same issues with every stock based ROMs ! (Dont forget ,i have LBL !)
Guys ! What can i do ? This is not a normal situation !

I'm not really sure how your phone behaves in term of battery drain.
First are you using Greenify? If not, make sure you do!
Do you have any background process that drains your battery like "Media Server", if yes you can make a shell script which you can execute from the terminal or use init.d script with init.d app. (Both are quite easy, if you need help I can give you some guidance).
Download CPU Spy and check if your phones goes into "Deep Sleep" when you're not using it.
Use Wakelock Detector to see which programs "wakes" your device, how often and for how long.
Share what your battery life is on average and in stand by mode.
Most of the time the phone calculates the remaining time on the average reading for the past few hours or smth like that.
In my case (just giving you an example), I use stock .205 ROM, rooted, stock kernel, Locked Boot Loader.
With Greenify, Media Server script that I exec from the terminal and Stamina mode, I drop like 1% of battery every 6-8 hours when I'm not using my phone (3G, GPS, Wi-Fi on all the time. NFC & bluetooth - off). I mostly charge my phone before I go to bed, and when I wake up it's still at 100%.
because of my poor english knowledge ,its pretty hard to draw up the things.
well ,greenify. i use it ,but i cant greenify system apps/services ,only "playstore" things. (all my apps are stock apps ,bloatwares are freezed with TB)
wakelock detector. nothing(!) keeps my phone awake ! nothing !
according to the OS' battery stats ,i have no awakes ,the display has the highest consumption ,everything else has lower percentage.
cpu spy:its interesting.. once im in deepsleep ,other times NO ! and yes ,i refreshed the stats. but when in deepsleep ,i have the same amount of drain when not in deepsleep !
btw i know what stamina is and how it works.
ok ,please tell me how can i use/create that greenify/media server script thingy.

Well if you have some battery juice leak, than maybe it's hardware problem as it seems, cause from what I can tell your software behaves perfectly fine.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For script you just create file called let's say "mediaserver.sh" or whatever you wanna call it as long as it has ".sh" at the end.
You edit it with text editor and paste:
#!/system/bin/sh
killall -9 android.process.media
killall -9 mediaserver
in it.
Place it anywhere in your phone. Let's say SD card.
You go to terminal and type:
su
exec /mnt/sdcard/mediaserver.sh
exit
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But in your case you don't have Media Server or any other app eating your battery juice, so if you have poor battery life it's the battery itself.
Best thing you could do it, stress test the battery.
Charge your battery to 100%. Unplug the charger.
Go to dialer and type #*#*4636#*#* → battery information → battery voltage should be around 4150~4200 at full charge. Everything above 4100 is healthy battery.
Go and set your screen brightness at 70-80% and play a game. Your battery will should last at less 3h.
Then charge the battery to 100% again. Check the voltage. Put your phone in stamina mode and see how much your phone will last if you're using it only as a phone, without playing games, internet, etc. See if you can get more than 2 days.
If results are good then I would not worry about anything if I were you.
thank you ,i will try it !
have a nice day !

[Q] [Needs confirmation] LG-D410 battery drains very fast after root.

Hello everyone, I've rooted my D410 running 5.0.2 lollipop by using command lines in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3049772
My phone has been rooted within 5 mins, it's very fast and easy way . But I noticed that, after being rooted, battery of my phone drained very fast. After I unpluged my device, within 20 mins doing nothing it drained from 100% - 94% , then it took 8% every 30mins in web surfing by Chrome. I can only survive a full working day with that draining speed (which up to 2days in the past),
Then I unroot my phone, it come back to normal - just 5-6% but sometime, the battery percent jump a 2% step (55%down to 53% for ex), full Full wipe then root again doesn't help.
Anyone got the problem like me? I think the problem here is busybox or SuperSU, but I tried reinstall SuperSU, no luck.
I want to root my phone for using some advanced utilities, but this issue prevent me from doing that.

Try installing the Better Battery Stats or GSam Battery Monitor and see which process or app is consuming the battery.
Another thing you can try is, if you are not using 3G, select 'GSM only' in the network settings.

Tried GSAM, no program takes more than 4% battery at idle, facebook and Gmail is the highest consumer. I always turn off mobile data, so I have nothing to deal with network settings.
The issue here is the root progress, not about app, because after I unroot my phone, it come back to normal.
Try to root again. I had the same issue, BetterBatteryStats showed up that device doesn't go sleep caused by msm_otg wakelock. That happens sometimes after connecting usb cable. You've probably connected it again for unrooting and bug has gone. Try to root again.

Thanks for replying me.
I unrooted my phone by using supersu's feature, not by using usb cable. But thanks for msm_otg wakelock, I'll check it again.

WakeLock problem

For the past week I have been having battery issues normally i can go 2 days before im down to 10% but now i have to charge it every night.
I installed Gsam found out my phone is staying awake by something in Android system
So i installed BBS the only thing i see is IMSSERVICE under partial wake locks
and its only using 5% but it racks up the counts if i turn my screen off for 7 min and check again it has 400+ counts.
Another thing i noticed is when i went to reboot into recovery to clear cache i noticed it said something about not being able to find AT&T csc
I have a Sprint 950u and i have VoLTE disabled but wifi calling enabled
Ive tried disabling wake lock for IMS via ADB but it still does the same thing.
Non rooted BTW
anyhelp is appreciated
UPDATE
ignored all packages that had IMS in it.
It still showing up but its now where as many times i went 10 min and only had 31 counts.
Then SprintHub showed that it was holding it awake i ended up disabling the package using
Code:
pm disable-user
Fully charged and let phone sit for 30 min it only dropped 1% so i think im in the clear now
