Just purchased a mate x and wonder if the screen protector can be removed and replaced by a hydragel one . I have seen this done on the x2 but not sure about the x. Thanks

Probably because the screen protector is in the way. But if you keep using it for a while, the cover might flex and it should start to close properly.

Just use it normally and it should hopefully stretch after about a week. Haven't tried it myself, but some others posted the same problem in this forum before and i think that was the "solution". Either that or take off the screen protector

Do you have the M8 or the M8s? A friend has the M8s, which is 0.2mm thicker than the M8. And the same thing happened to him with the DotView case.

I also received it today! Indeed it is thin. Did you order any covers / screenguard for it ?
Nothing good is available for Z2 force as of now. I ordered one tempered glass from Flipkart, yet to reach me. Since the display is plastic it is not scratch proof. Need to apply a screen guard ASAP. Covers I think you can go for any Z2 play cases, not tried though.

if you want to use a moto mod verizon makes a bumper case that you can use while using a mod like extra battery, which i keep on all the time. BTW as for screen protectors, xtremeguard in ebay, #1 source for all my screen protectors

It depends how much curved will be.
If it is like note 9/s10 plus/p30 pro there's not gonna have issue with accidentally touch (I've worked all that devices not had issue)
As for tempered glass I assume oneplus will offer official one that everyone could purchased extra at oneplus site just like with previous version.
On the other hand if it is like mate 20 pro or oldest Sammy device like s8 plus which had very aggressive edge corner yes accidentally touch on side would be more issue for some people.

I bought a set of Ringke ones back in the day and they were fine, but I already went through 2 of them and I can't find the last one, however they aren't available for purchase anymore.
I read in a couple of places that iPhone 11/XS Pro MAX (what a mouthful) protectors work fine, but I thought it would be a good idea to ask around here if anyone has tried it and how it went.
I hope you guys can help me gain some insight, thanks!

All my screen protectors installed were iPhone XS max and they are fit correctly and very nice, only issue is that notification led not fully appearing

But is that because you bought the kind that has a shaded earpiece/camera area or is it something else?
currently using 11 pro max tempered glass, its working perfectly, speaker grill and notification LED is aligned well enough.

In certain places, it comes with a screen guard and in some places, it doesn't! The best one in my experience is the one that comes with the phone... Other than that, everyone else has some problem or the other!

If you're living in the best country in the world the USA then it won't come with a screen protector. Just a thin clear factory film that has a pull tab on the top right hand corner.
Rumor has it Samsung stopped applying screen protectors to it's devices sold in the USA. Because folks were returning the complete phone or creating mass warranty claims due to marks on the plastic supplied screen protector. Thus Samsung ceased it for this market. Wasn't worth the hassle.
I believe the snapdragon variants don't come with the screen protectors (US models) the Exynos ones do (Non-US models) I personally like whitestone glass protectors (they can be a pain in the ass to get on, but once you get the perfect fit it's like they're not there)

I have the snapdragon version which came with a pre installed screen protector (got the phone a week ago). The pre installed protector is pretty good but I replaced it with an amfilm glass protector which is amazing!

They don't come with screen protector. But I'm sure yours will, I feel it inside my bones.
