poor quality image on google street view. why?

Hey folks. Just want to start by saying a big thnks to this forum; thanks to the instructions and files I found here, I was able to get the warmdonut android installed on my HTC Touch here on Bell.
But I am wondering why when I go to street view in the "Maps" program the view is mega blurry ir pixelly for some reason. Like way worse than it should be even for the Touch's low-ish resolution.
Can anyone tell me what the best way to solve this is? Do I need to download a special street view application or widget?

I've noticed this too. And the other thing is that street view for me takes forever to load.

Still haven't figured out a solution for this after spending a night with it, still blurry and almost illegible. Too pixellated or something -- I wish I knew why

Idk, I was personally never really impressed with street view in the first place, even on the PC

ive seen the srteet view on my friends droid and its the same. its just blurry period, for everyone.

*Theme-Off* Bright!

I have a challenge for those that like to theme and want something to do.
What I want to see:
A bright interface, using bright colors.
A theme that doesn't use black or any dark colors as a base color.
I don't want to see themes/interfaces using an almost all black background with white icons. Unless you have some bright icons (example: the windows 7 theme uses a black background but uses large bright icons)
Feel free to post anything you like. Please post what you're using (widgets, icons, launcher, ect) to keep questions to a minimal.

(request) app draw icon or good dock bar

hello! i have been looking an i cant seem find any, i am not looking for a whole icon package i just need a good app draw icon and/or docbar. i know people cant possible know wat i exactly want so am just going to ask you to post the best ones you use or can find......thanks in advance

i've got +250 docks on my pc. I'll have a look if i can up them on my dropbox

I'm assuming you're downloading them from his dropbox? Dropbox does that, it converts pngs to jpgs, instead of right clicking and saving, click on the image you want and something should pop up with your image, on the bottom it says "save file" I believe, click it and it saves it without the white background.

The camera may be a lacking in whatever technical way, but the viewfinder on the main display makes taking pictures SO much more enjoyable. I literally don't think I can go back to shooting shots on a normal candybar phone.
My car is an odd bit of gray/blue but the accuracy is on point with the Bixby enhancements turned off. Wide angle shots are equally as awesome as the shots on the main lens.
Quality can't be assessed because xda forums just compress the files, but I'm enjoying the overall experience immensely!
