Question Gallery app changes color of pictures when editing (x60 pro plus) - Vivo X60 Pro+

Hello.
I realized some important problems with the native album/gallery app in vivo x60 pro plus.
First, unless the device screen color is set to "professional", the photos in the app are showing with different colours than Google Photos app for example.
Second, even in the professional color mode, the colors of the photo changes in the native album/gallery when I hit the edit button, becaming clipped, losing saturation. This does not happen in Google Photos.
Besides, the photos uses the Profile P3 color profile and some apps mess up the colors when sharing from the device without converting to sRGB first like Instagram, Facebook and Flicker. This does not happen with Google Drive or Whatsapp for example.

Contact pixelated images

Hello!
Previously had the HTC Sensation XE and am now migrated to the HTC one
On the ONE all contact pictures are displayed pixelated. All the apps, which should solve the problem do not work. Also, I turned off the sync with Google without success.
Do anyone have any advice or a solution?
cheers
PS: On the Sensation Xe all contact pictures were displayed without problems!
If you have the contact photos stored on your phone then re-choose them one by one it will solve the problem.
Some of my contacts I synchronised them from their facebook accounts and their photos were clear but the ones synchronised from Google were not
Hope this helps.

If you don't sync, then that is the issue.
Because the resolution of the screen is high, HTC made it display the low-res images with the pixellated look. When you sync the contacts with facebook or google then the high-res images are downloaded and displayed without the pixellation effect

This happens when the contact pic are of low resolution..try manually putting a new contact image for someone..and check it then..it will be clear..not pix-elated..
this is a well known issue with google, if you attach a picture from your gallery the resolution will stay. after sync with google, the picture gets downsized and resulting in low res pictures. had this issue with my past android phones and it's all over the net. some pics will "retain" their quality, but not as much as attaching pictures for the first time, you can see low res pictures when you click the contacts and see them in circles. hope this helps :cyclops:

since your issue is only present when using that particular app, you might want to ask the dev instead of us. Doesn't looks like its related to the M7 itself. Have you tested this app on another phone to see if it have the same issue?
Can you provide a link to that app? I can't find any "pictures studio" on the play store, only "photo studio" is it the app you are talking about?

[Q] Increase Contact Photo Quality?

Is there a way to increase the quality of the contact photos in Android 6? I've noticed when I receive a phone call, through Google Hanouts especially, the photo quality is HORRIBLE! Very, very pixelated.
Are there any tweaks or add-ons to fix this?

what size photo did you use? if you use a tiny photo, it'll look like that, as it is made larger. use a large photo and it looks decent. the size of the photo is its quality.

The original photo was 2340 × 4160, then the OS cropped it to size when adding it to the contact, so I don't know what size it ended up being. It seems like the majority of the contact photos look this way. It's very rare for one to actually look good.
Maybe the trick is to pre-size them to the right aspect ratio, then select it as a contact photo so no cropping is needed?

2340x4160 is, or should be, fine. all the contact photos I see on my phone appear fine, but I only added mine(and its fine as well).
If you're rooted and use xposed framework work you can download a module called "Clarity", and that's its main purpose is to increase the quality of contact photos. I use it myself and it works great.

Just installed it the other day, from the XDA Thread that the app points too, it shows as development had stopped on it. Plus, from what I could gather, it only "enhanced" the Thumbnail portion of the contact display, not the full screen contact that shows up when someone calls.
Bummer.
Try adding the pic on a computer and sync via Google. This used to be an issue for a long time on Android, but Google did finally fix it awhile ago.

I can't tell how to fix it but I've noticed the following:
1. When someone from my contact list calls my Google Voice number, Hangouts displays a very pixelated contact image. It's like Hangouts took the small/low-res thumbnail from the chat/SMS section and scaled it all the way up instead of using the full res image from Contacts.
2. On the other hand, when I receive a direct Hangouts call or video call, the caller's contact image is perfectly displayed.

STOCK Gallery photo editing

I noticed that when coming from the S8 plus to the Note 8 the stadt gallery no longer allows precise adjustments in the gallery app. For example..
You can no longer finely-tuned a filter like in the gallery app on the S8 Plus. It's pretty much their filter the way they like it. Even in the vignette, you can't adjust it whatsoever.
Anyone notice this?

The phone's not even been officially released yet bro... give them a chance to update the apps :silly:
Not really an excuse when almost the entire world has had it since September 5th
I'm also noticing that the stock gallery no longer has the option for advanced photo editing options. I loved being able to adjust curves, tone, and other precise adjustments right in the stock app. Why would they take this away on the power user device? Anybody know of any impending updates?

If you go to the overflow button there's an option to open the image in 'Photo Editor Pro', the adjustments you mention are in the 'Advanced' section.

Found that the other day, but how do you make that the DEFAULT? This "update" is NOT an improvement. And I think I just confused the heck out of two Samsung agents this morning trying to explain what I wanted to do. If anyone has any good ideas, I'm all ears.
I've also posted in the Samsung Community forum, but you'll have to hunt for it, since I'm new to xdadevelopers and can't share the link here.

AH! Thanks! Seems odd that they'd bury it like this and I agree with the previous poster that I'd prefer this option by default as on the S8+.

Yes you can... i think more then 8K. Because worh 40mp you can make 8K, woth 100mp you are making more?
How to make? Easy. Just download application Intervalometar, make settings how many photos, time, and etc... you will see it. Hope to see your timelapse soon
Yes, even more than, 12000*6750, point is, Intervalometar can use that 108MP camera or not, most of third app only 4000*3000, let me try now.

Intervalometar is a tool. And that app can use every camera app which you want. So that meen Samsung camera app can be use with 100MP.

Don't worry it is not hard at all. You have so much tutorials on YouTube.
You need just to configure:
1. How many photos or infinite,
2. How much time do you want or infinite,
3. How much time between the pictures you want it to be so that the picture again,
4. And at end locate a red circle wher is the camera shutter button
That's is all
