S10 Factory unlocked vs S10 Verizon Pros vs Cons?

Looking to buy the S10 but wanted to know which would be best. The factory unlocked version or Verizon version? Will be using a Verizon prepaid SIM like I've been using for years.
Pros and Cons?
Thanks
I have the unlocked version. After spending some time in the forums all I can tell you is,
Branded phones get updates faster than unlocked versions. I would assume that would include pre-paid service with a branded phone.
Verizon blocks some services for unlocked versions. The big one is probably WiFi calling.
They also block some services for branded phones. Samsung's Find My Mobile for one, but Google's Find My Device still works.
Unlocked phones only come with Samsung's bloatware, branded phones come with both Samsung's and Verizon's bloatware.
Verizon phones unlock after 30 or 60 days.
That's all I can think of at the moment.

Tmobile variant on ATT

Hi all,
Going to be purchasing a Tmobile Galaxy s10 for my girlfriend and wondering what, if any, drawbacks there are to buying a TMO variant but activating it on ATT? I'm pretty sure wifi calling won't work, but what about updates? The splash screen will still be TMO I would assume and then would it still be on the TMO update schedule? Has anyone done this? Thanks.
First of all, I never buy from the carriers anymore. Bloated software, ads, etc. & LOCKED BOOTLOADERS, drive me nuts.
I would buy the International Unlocked Model. If you are looking for the S10, the SM-G973F is the international version. AND the local USA carriers will not sell you this model because they want you LOCKED on to their carrier!
But you can buy from SWAPPA or Ebay or AMAZON. I have the international S10E with the fingerprint unlock in the Power button (no problems with installing a glass screen saver).

I'm curious as to why you're not just buying an unlocked model if wifi calling doesn't matter. In reference to another rant posted, I doubt she will need to unlock the bootloader so I see no need for the international version off Ebay depending on what country she'll be using it in. On what you're asking, yes someone has done it I believe.

Pixel 4a 5g Verizon

Question 1. Is the bootloader unlockable on the UW version if purchased from google.com
Question 2. Will the 4a 5g (non UW version) still be fully supported on Verizon. **I don't care about 5g at this point in time
In other words... What I'm really trying to find out is if Verizon will "force" me into buying the UW version and refuse to activate the non UW version
Yes, Verizon's version will have the UW band and they will make you buy that one if you want that feature on it. No the bootloader is LOCKED.

My understanding though is that any unlocked pixel will work on Verizon but will not have the above-mentioned 5G UW support. Based on reading on previous devices like the One Plus 6 and higher you will have to take an extra step or 2 to get VZW to certify the device but it will work.
I have said goodbye to Verizon after 15+ years in October. I was convinced that they had the best coverage but I just couldn't continue to pay anymore. I should have switched years ago. I have Google Fi and have ZERO regrets. Not only do I have a bootloader unlocked device, if you act soon you can get the deals mentioned in the other parts of this forum if you want to switch.
*My Shameless plug and referral link to receive $20 Fi credit!
I have the unlocked model working on Verizon. Nothing special needed. Just put in your sim and off you go. I didn’t order the Verizon version because I don’t need that extra 5g band at this point.
I just got Google Fi deal 4a 5g which doesn't have UW. eSIM for my personal Fi, physical for my work Verizon sim, dual standby works wonder. Don't care about 5G anyway.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G - T-mobile US version

Hello guys.
I had recently bought Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G in Serbia. But , i didn't know that it was locked on T-mobile network.
In our country , we don't have T-mobile provider.
I have called T-Mobile USA but they said that the account exists for that IMEI and that they couldn't unlock the phone because i didn't know any info about account.
Is it possible to unlock phone ? The option for unlocking bootloader is not showing in developers mode.
Is it maybe hidden ?
Thank you very much !

you need to go back to the person that sold it to you and have them go through T-Mobile to get it unlocked. If they can't do that for you, than its a stolen phone.
