As the title, when I close the phone, instead of it closing the app it transfers it to the outer screen. I can't see where to change this. Any ideas??
Doesn't happen on the Z Fold 2.

Originally my droid was showing some screen tearing when opening and closing the keyboard, and then this progressed to the screen being blank black when opening and closing the keyboard, with numerous presses of the lock key for the screen to display anything. Now, there is no way for me to view the screen. The backlight is there, the phone still works because it vibrates when i do the unlock gesture on the homescreen, but i just can't see anything. I've tried over nine thousand battery pulls. Is there a way to know what's wrong?
Looks like broken flex cable connecting display panel with keyboard part.

Would the damage be obvious to me if i open up my phone? otherwise how do i know which part to get?
It has to be the 2nd one as that is the one which connects to your screen.
On youtube there are some good vids showing how to dismantle the phone, you will need a plastic unclipping tool

I judt got my note and had a few problems. Cant seem to close the cover in the srea right below the notch you put your fingernail in. It wont snap into place. Any suggestions? Also, the browser likes to float about after i move the page. It doesnt stop when my finger stops. Can i fix this?
i don't know is this a good question or stupid question,but i realised that my xperia sp's touch screen is awesom, i don;t know this may b a fault or a option in my phone. have anyone tried this?? ->
it doesnt happen all the time,it happens sometimes when we dont need this,then i can't even type a messege.itz annoying sometimes. but i tried this few times and i saw the magic .this is how i figured it out. ok i took my fingers near the screen, but i didnt TOUCH SCREEN. keep it away from 1mm and move my finger slightly near screen without touching it. in few tries i will saw a white circle on my screen right down where i kept my finger.i think screen detected my fingers heat without touching it. then i can do everything without touching screen, white circle moves where i move my finger and click where i stop. all this happend automatically, but i realised that this is not fault, because if screen can show white circle when i do it, itz something in system. please anyone tell me what is that?
You have glove mode activated go into settings/display and unselect.

If gloves mode activated and if you unlock phone with not touching screen than when you use phone its will be allways activated if you unlock screen by touching screen than its dosn't work .
Ive got glove mode off and I also got the magic too.

hi everyone,
i have had me xperia zl fo about 9 months, now i noticed that the screen would turn off while i was doing something on the phone. Then when I tried to turn the screen back on the screen would turn on but no picture just a black blank screen. I can tell the phone is still on because when I connect it to pc it connects and shows my files on the phone also there is sound coming from the phone and when i touch the screen i can tell the touchsceen works cause it gives feedback. Sometimes after trying on and off with the power button the screen shows a picture.
One weird thing I noticed is that if I put a little bit of pressure on the back of the phone, in the top right corner where the usb plug is, the screen goes all weird with lines, discolored and turns off.
I am wondering if anyone has this problem or input on how i can fix it it would be greatly appriciated.
i can make a video if anyone wants to see a visual.

So I have been using the genuine Samsung clear view case for some time now and have never had an issue with it until now.
All of a sudden the phone does not react when the flip case is opened or closed, before it would change/hide the screen to reveal a clock + notifications whenever it was closed. Now the display seems to be always on an unaffected by the flip case being closed.
I assume this will also have an affect on being able to accept/reject calls with the case closed etc.
Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue and/or tell me what is causing it?
