Question Lockscreen issue - Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra

I installed Google assistant when prompted and enabled a few things I can't seem to switch off even after uninstalling all the Google apps it persists.....
The most annoying is the lockscreen which is preventing the mi 11 Ultra from charging at full speed because the Google popup keeps activating the screen and it's taking much longer to charge then it did before
Anyone know How do I get rid of this crap without a factory reset?

Go to Google, settings, google assistant, ambient mode and turn it off

Keep screen on widget

Is there any king of working widget for MIUI 7 that would work as a toggle for "never" option for auto-lock
I sometimes need to temporally enable "don't turn screen off", put phone somewhere and track info from launched app.
For native android there are plenty of widgets on Play Market that are perfectly working. However all I tried fail to work on MIUI.
So I need one for MIUI
Going deep in settings every time is not a convenient way

No (push) notifications

Hi all,
I have recently got myself an Honor Play and now some problems have manifested.
In particular, the lack of notifications bothers me more than anything.
So what is happening is:
When I get a notification, it might turn up in notification center, but it's not on the lock screen, neither is there a badge on the app.
I've read in some threads, that the battery management might cause this issue, so I turned it off for all the apps I expect notifications from.
Still nothing. Interestingly, I do get notifications from some apps, even on lock screen, but not all of them.
I don't use face unlock, just fingerprint. I also replaced my launcher with Lawnchair and my stock swipe gestures with Fluid NG, if that matters.
I come from an iPhone, where I'm used to having notifications pop up on my lock screen or on top of the screen, if my device is unlocked.
So I would like to have the same functionality here. I did read, that EMUI hides older notifications, but that I can live with.
But having no notifications at all is kind of a problem.
Anyone got around to solving this issue?

Ok, so a small update from my side regarding this.
I'm not saying the problem is completely solved, but I would say most of it.
So coming from iOS, I was used to apps sending me notifications after I gave them permission.
However, it seems that you need to enable notifications in the settings of the app itself.
Especially news apps require that... So that fixes that.
Some apps seem to just have errors or bad implementations.
There is an app which should trigger a reminder at a specific time and I just can't get it to work.
So I would put this down to the app just not doing what it should.
Otherwise I think I have most of the notifications I need.
So the moral of the story, check all of your app's settings first ...

Your Assistant Needs...

Trying to use Assistant with gesture navigation. I get this screen whether on WiFi or on Mobile Data. It gets part way then complains that I am not online even though other internet apps work.
I had the same issue with my phone. I solved the issue by opting out of Google beta in the play store (look for Google scroll down and opt out of beta) then rebooting my phone. This game me back assistant but it can't tell me what's on my screen. It's the only downside. I had contacted Google about the problem and they had me change to the 3 dot navigation instead of the default gesture navigation of Android 10. Unfortunately, I got accustomed to the gesture navigation.
I tried using Pixel Launcher with Gesture on. When you say Hey Google it goes into the same loop.

go to setting on phone language is the same
I was only able to update it by switching to the Pixel Launcher with Gestures turned off. Weird.

Disable google assistant swipe up.

Got a Oppo Reno 5g and it just updated to C54 with May 2012 security update.
I have swipe up gestures enabled as it gives more screen area.
Problem with new update is when I swipe up bottom of screen to "go back" it also opens up Google assistant, turning off google assistant itself then swiping up, makes it annoyingly open up "your google assistant is ready to help you get things done. TURN ON"
Anyone got any suggestions apart from dont use swipe gestures.
Thanks
Ok panic over....
After loads of searches sorted it.
For anyone else got Google assistant keep popping up, settings~default apps~digital assistant app~ choose none.
Thanks
And then they say chinese phones are full of bloatware....

Question Corner-swipe for assistant not working

Anyone else having this issue? I reinstalled the assistant app and rebooted. Still, swiping from the corner doesnt start my google assistant anymore. I can only feel the vibration, but nothing happens.
Any ideas?
Clear assistant app cache/data?
And if ther's an option, disable the "corner swype" and re-enable again.
Thanks, already did that.
For some reason there is no option for disabling or enabling corner swipe.
I have the same problem with my Oppo Find X3 Pro: when I long press the lock button the only thing that happens is the short vibration. No sound and no assistant anymore I also tried disabling and enabling the Google app, but nothing changes...
