On 12.5.4 I was playing with miui+ beta, was about to cast to PC over wireless and the experience is pretty smooth.
It looks like desktop mode aka dex is coming soon. In dev option could see force desktop mode on secondary display.
If anyone can get desktop mode working please share.

HI all,
today I was trying to extend my display to the tv but I'm no more able to do it.
I have a chromecast (old one) connected to my tv and I was thinking to extend the display of my notebook (running windows 10 home) so I did as I've found in this video
1) win-key+x > and selected control panel
2) change screen resolution
3) pressed "detect" key in order to "find" the chromecast ; but it does not work
Did I missed something or the new updates are blocking this feature?

I have a TV mounted in portrait mode for a dakboard I setup with a rpi. There was one more HDMI slot so I threw a chromecast on too. Anyway to display youtube, watch espn, etc in portrait orientation on the screen? Thanks!
I notice the camera does not work in landscape mode when in Dex/screen mirroring. Anyone know if it's possible to get this to work?

Used to have a OnePlus with a dedicated tilde to switch on/off work mode.

It is called "Second Space" in MIUI.
You can enable it in settings.
No but work profile is handle by Nova application ( Hub + Boxer ) from my company so no way to use Second Space , what I would like is to have a way to enable/disable work mode ( as a tilde ) like in ASOP roms.

after upgrading from EMUI 10 to version 11, the desktop mode seems to have some bugs.
On the one hand, the settings bar is no longer displayed on the external monitor when the screen is mirrored.
On the other hand, I can no longer use the Chrome browser, for example, when I'm in desktop mode.
Does anyone have this phenomenon too?

Did a downgrade to EMUI 10. Now it works fine again.
