You can relock the bootloader without problems if the system is 100% stock.

Thanks. So, stock meaning the original firmware the hardware had from factory? Only that one?

Would you be kind enough to let me know your thoughts
Thanks

Hi. I've got a Mi 9 SE from China with unlocked bootloader and Global ROM installed. I want to go back to original ROM. How can I know which one is exactly ?

http://mifirm.net has all the versions, just find latest stock and flash, then lock.

GLOBAL VERSION BUILD! ALL LANGUAGES AVAILABLES!
How to install first time
* First of all, make a complete backup of all your photos and internal data in the computer, since the first installation requires to eliminate ALL the sdcard content, given the encryption of Android Nougat and later; the one that warns you is not a traitor, you are going to lose all the data (just as it happens if you install other ROMS). This is due to (in turn) that if we have not formatted the sdcard, it will not boot for security protection data of the cited encryption,
* With TWRP Recovery (read tutorials on how to install it) we will make another backup, but this time System, Data, Cache, Boot, and especially the EFS (important).
* Download the ZIP flasheable and pass it to the internal memory of the phone (no matter if we have already formatted it or not).
* Restart on TWRP recovery
* Make Wipes: System, Data, Dalvik, Cache.
* Install from Recovery the EpicROM ZIP flasheable and wait for it to appear okay (If you get error 7 the TWRP in the step of "formating system / extracting system", restart in recovery immediately, and reinstall it, this is due that in Nougat you must re-generate the system partition for encryption topics, so it will install you, it should work like the rest of us )
* We reboot in fastboot mode once the rom has been installed correctly. To do this, we can do it from TWRP in REBOOT / Fastboot or by holding down the power button and the volume down button until FASTBOOT and Mitu appear by soldering an Android robot. In this step, we connect the mobile to the computer, and in the same folder that can be downloaded from en.miui.com/unlock (to unblock the bootloader) click inside that folder in a blank space in the right mouse click while holding the SHIFT key on the keyboard; a window will appear and the "open command window" option should appear. We tapped on that window. When it opens, if you open powershell (blue screen) from windows 10, type cmd and press enter. If you open the classic cmd of all life (BLACK SCREEN) we are already where we want.
* Type in the cmd (be powershell or cmd) fastboot format userdata and press enter. There will be formatted all our mobile, and restarting it will work everything.
* Restart normally and configure. Remember that the first start takes a little longer, from there, it will always light fast. In the following versions, it will NOT BE MISSING to do all this, just install without wipes and to run. I already adapt it so that I clean what I have to clean with each update EXCEPT that I expressly say something else in that UPDATE.
* Enjoy (and re-pass all data previously backed up to the internal memory).
How to install UPDATE from Epic ROM 7.X.XX
Download Epic OTA with OTA app from Settings (No MIUI Updater, use EPIC OTA!)
You can also download update manually from en.miui forum or htcmania spanish forum
Install update from Epic OTA or from TWRP Recovery manually
You don't need to wipe anything if we don't say it on update! If you have to do some special, we will let you know
Reboot
Enjoy

There is a clear difference given the description and thread title. This seems to be based on the Global Version of MIUI whereas the other one is based on Xiaomi.eu MIUI ROM based on MIUI (China or Global)?
I guess, we will find out more at some point about what's the clear difference between the two. However, it seems currently it is to do with languages.

Resolved by disabling "OOS Native Call Recording Enabler" Magisk module.
Can confirm working perfectly with magisk.
Also look like the OS is faster and much more fluid.

Also noticed that while the screen is black you can actually tap the PIN and it will register the taps.

How To Guide [Guide] [Stable] xiaomi.eu Ad free Builds installation

As Redmi as usual messes up naming convention, we ended up having three names for same device - Redmi Note 9 4G (CN), Redmi 9T (EU) and Redmi 9 Power (IN)
I had spent a day on best way to remove ads in our device and ended up reinstalling ROM altogether
I reached to Dev and he helped with progress on this here https://github.com/geoanto555/android_device_xiaomi_lime/issues/1
Usual device-specific Data Backup/unlocking/rooting warnings apply here, and this is just a guide
Req:
* SD Card or USB OTG
* Download latest Recovery https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=320361
* Download Stable ROM https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/miui-12-0-stable-release.56191/ (You can experiment with Beta ROMs if courageous)
* Download Full fastboot MIUI image to recover phone in case required
* fastboot getvar product -> Should output "lime"
1. Unlock your phone via official unlocking tool (Yeah it still takes 7 full days)
2. Once unlocked, Boot to fastboot mode (Volume Down + Power when the phone is switched off)
3. Flash Recovery and boot TWRP using below commands
cmd>fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Sending 'recovery' (131072 KB) OKAY [ 3.037s]
Writing 'recovery' OKAY [ 1.198s]
Finished. Total time: 4.586s
cmd>fastboot reboot-recovery
Rebooting into recovery OKAY [ 0.006s]
Finished. Total time: 0.011s
4. After rebooting to TWRP, It'll show FBE Decryption failed. Even Formatting Data wont help
5. Mount USB/SDcard. Install .zip on OTG/SDcard via TWRP
6. Format /data after ROM is flashed
7. Reboot and Profit

I see. Should I just unlock bootloader and move to xiaomi.eu pr downgrade entirely to Redmi 9? I just want to get the agressive ram issue solved.

Question Miui.eu and miuimix

I now that miuimix rom base in china rom and miui.eu rom.
But what is the spesific deferend between that 2 rom?
Anybody can tell the difference?
I am now using miui.eu rom,works fine.
But it is worth to wipe all and move to miuimix rom?
Hoping somebody can give me and answer..
Thanks before..
I have the same question.
Use the search function next time..
Somebody wrote in another thread:
"
They say this about the differences:
Optimizations for better smoothness and battery life
(But like what? Xiaomi.eu already says they have optimized it, right? What has been done?)
Debloat (cleaner app is one of these)
(On Xiaomi.eu, are there bloat-apps? I haven't seen them ever)
Preinstalled Magisk
(This is a pretty big thing right? I see so many people always ask whether Magisk is working)
All roms globalization
(??? - what does this mean?)
System app installation directly from stock app installer (note: app extracted from china roms can give errors during installation)
(Implying that apps on Xiaomi.eu are extracted from the China ROM and then re-installed during installation and that can cause issues? I might be eh, I dunno. Just haven't had any issues so far with this, but is that what is means?)
Apps icons with transparency and that follow the icon that you see on PlayStore
90Hz refresh rate selection from within the settings [venus]
Flashable zip files a little bit smaller
All roms are tested before releasing
(Xiaomi.eu doesn't test their ROMs?)"
But still no spesific answer...

Yes, I wrote that because I went to their website and looked for further information here on XDA, Reddit, etc but there isn't any clear info. The text you found is me repeating the info from their website but with questions underneath to ask what it actually means.

- MiuiMix add Root by default, Fix, optimization and tweaks. Nothing more, nothing less.
Anybody can tell the difference?
- It's a Xiaomi.eu Chinese Base, Bootanimation changed, Magisk, 90 hz Refresh Rate, some features added in Settings and some others apps installed/debloat between Xiaomi.eu / MiuiMix rom and also a big part Xiaomi Ads/Recommandations & Telemetry are removed .
I am now using miui.eu rom,works fine.
But it is worth to wipe all and move to miuimix rom?
- There no big change using your actual rom for MiuiMix. They have the same bugs :
+ RCS Messages not compatible
+ others Message App (like Google Message) not compatible with MMS service & sometimes notifications sound, i have found only "Textra SMS" fully compatible (SMS, MMS, Sound Notifications working)
+ Theme Manager is in Chinese Google Translated [the Global/European Theme Manager content is not available and it's really hard to found a theme because it's Google Trad Chinese Name>English and in China all come from Google is banned
+ In some apps, some display bugs in Dark Mode (policies/background)
But it is worth to wipe all and move to miuimix rom?
- Sure you must format data only for changing ROM (like STABLE > WEEKLY > STABLE), but for me there no reason to change for the MiuiMix if you are already on the same source/base rom.

RCs works for me on MIUIMiX weekly for Mi 11.
Theme manager can be updated to Global if you download it from apkmirror and install (just go to apps and "uninstall updates" to revert back). Though, the China version of Theme manager can import themes and has a few benefits over global, in my person opinion.
But yeah, pretty fair comparison for them. On the latest update, I actually had 100% battery for over 20 minutes with screen on the whole time. If you're not one for root, Xiaomi.eu is a better choice since you can't unroot MIUIMiX without probably causing issues. As well as passing safetynet without root and bootloader unlocked. Plus, the bootanimation isn't the best but you can replace it with the 12.5 official (attached) by going to a root explorer, System/Media, then renaming the current bootanimation to bootanimation.zip.bak (if you don't do this, you will get a 0kb bootanimation.zip when trying to overwrite the old one), and then copying the one I provided into System/Media. Or you can use the themes I attached for MIUI 12 (purple/blue) gradient boot which I like better.
**Update: I made an .mtz with just the official MIUI 12.5 Boot Animation to make it easier.

Yes, but with the internal apps maybe... Not Messages (Google) or other message apps
And RCS/MMS problem occur only with some Carrier

I use Messages (Google) as my default and RCs works. Using Mint Mobile in the U.S so any T-Mobile based service should work

Do you have any idea when they're going to stabalize it?
I faced another issue while playing games. I'm suffering from ghost touching. The game runs smoothly in the begining, but randomly my screen won't respond for like 0.5 sec and if i lift my finger, it returns to normal and the cycle continues.
I've uninstalled all the bloatwares and i even have phonecooler, so heating etc ain't the problem

From Alpha to stable, + or - 8 to 18 months, it depends on the developer and for some of the Xiaomi updates.
Check here the build numbers for the Poco f2 pro with a hard working developer.

What rom did you have and what rom did you want to install? (full name, numbers and letters).
Is the bootloader unlocked?
To use Miflash, you must download a fastboot rom (tgz) and extract the rom folder (see the tutorial)

Honestly, I totally forgot it and was so scared that I pricked my phone... Mi flash program gave me some weird error "Anti Rollback check error", but then I found a very weird solution for it. I solved this by moving the whole package directly to my E: drive. So the path had become "E:\Batman_global_images_V10.3.6.0.PFJMIXM_20190603.0000.00_9.0_global\flash_all.bat" instead of "E:\*********\Desktop\adb\MiFlash20180528\Batman_global_images_V10.3.6.0.PFJMIXM_20190603.0000.00_9.0_global\flash_all.bat". And I made 2-folders inside Mi flash folder, named "log" and "new folder".
I thank again for your effort, Sensei..

Sensei, it's me, your favorite idiot.
Suddenly, my phones display is locked at 60hz and i couldn't switch it back to 120.. I downloaded app and i changed it back, but my question is, why would Xiaomi lock it at 60hz? Is my phone in mortal danger now that i "forcefully" changed it?
