this one looks cool..
thanks for bring up

Hi, this rom looks good, I just have some doubt where you say format data via recovery but from what I know there is no working recovery for a11, So do I have to use the recovery stock right? , then am I already on oos stable (11.0.8.12)or do I have to reflash it again?

No is good. Just wipe data after flashing the rom. After first boot the device reboots autmatic, no worry thats normal. Its only the first time. Rom running nice and smooth

Before flashing, reboot to recovery. Wipe data. It's that easy. Then reboot to bootloader flash rom. Doesn't matter what rom you are coming from, they all have recovery partitions.

been using for 2 days
running super awesome and smoooth!!
hope next build will be official
thanks dev

i m rom. rom me.

nice

I like this rom, just have one issue so far. Other than having the default setting for usb to file transfer, I am unable to copy some of my backup files from my pc to the phone. Not all but only select ones, like all my downloaded custom kernels. I am able to copy the files to a usb drive and then to the phone thru the usb drive. Weird ? I am using linux operating system have never had issues with other roms.

Using gvfs-mtp. Set default usb to file transfer. Connect phone to pc using usb cable. Phone mounts in pc and able to copy some files. One file unable to copy are kernel zips for some reason. Copy same files to usb flash drive. Insert usb flash and can copy to phone. Puzzling.

Set default USB in development options. Works perfectly fine.

[Q] Go back to ICS from Leaked LS7 JB

Hi XDA,
I would like to ask on how to go back to my stock ICS from leaked Jelly Bean (LS7).
Because I am planning to flash the leaked JB or maybe a custom JB like Rocket Rom but having a precaution that if I am not satisfied, I could go back to my stock ICS.
Please help me XDA.
Thank you very much in advance.
you can always go back to any stock rom using PC odin.
download the stock rom and place it in the pda tab of odin. put phone in download mode and flash

Thanks! But one more thing. Is there any other way aside from PC Odin? Can I use Mobile Odin instead? Thank you very much!
Yeah you can use mobile odin if you prefer it, However when ever I flash something I always use PC odin, Just because ive used it for so many years and im comfortable with it.
But either one will work well :good:
As azzledazzle said,
you can use mobile odin as well,
when you click on open file and select the rom (tar.md5), it will fill up all the partitions, then in the kernel section you can manually select the philz kernel so when the rom is installed you can be on a safe kernel

Does this mean that philz kernel is also applicable in ICS roms regardless of being stock or custom? Thanks a lot!
there are kernels for most of the builds.. but only works with TW or TW based ICS roms and JB roms...

By the way, I would like also to ask what is the meaning when the instruction in installing the ROM says "Format System"? How to do this and what will happen? Will it also erase the contents of my external sd or just the internal? Thank you very much again.
format / system is done in the Clockworkmod recovery under mounts and storage. this will erase the system partition for the new rom to install peacefully. This does not touch the ext or internal storage

Wow! I was just going to ask that question to you, Should I always going to do this format system thing every time I will going to flash a ROM? Or just when instructed by the developer? Thank you very much again. That was really helpful.
its always a good idea to
format/system
format/data
format/cache
before installing the new rom.. this will give you least trouble with new rom
Just do full nandroid backup of your ics 4.0.3 and then flash leaked jb rom. If you don't like jb, you can any time return to your ics rom from cwm recovery in recovery mode.

First, try a diffrent USB cable and USB port. If all else fails, read: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1962887
Read it whole before clicking any link. This has default recovery, files and so on. You'll find the file at post #22.

To simplify things, you flash this using ClockWorkMod. It will replace your recovery to the default LG one, and your files (unrooted). As I have said, everything you need to know is in the OP (Original Post/er).
Since you are coming from Gingerbread (Zeus), that's all you need.

You said you're on Zeus ROM right? How did you flash it? You reboot to recovery (ClockWorkMod), make wipes, then flash the zip. Right?
Now download the file/ROM on that thread at post #22, save it to your SD Card. Reboot to recovery, wipe and flash it. It's just the same procedure when you flashed Zeus ROM.
You need not to be an expert. If you managed to flash Zeus, you can flash this too. There's no abracadabra involved.
Again:
Save the file from the thread
Save it on your SD card
Reboot to recovery either by long pressing power button (Zeus has reboot to recovery added), or go to market and download Quick Boot.
If you are in recovery, wipe data/cache/dalvik cache, so as to remove SuperUser files, and have a clean one.
Flash the zip you saved
Done? Reboot!

i tried it many times, no use.... im pretty sure, that this cwm (6.0.2.8 and 6.0.3.2) are buggy
CWM
Factory reset wipe
Mount and format system
Format sdcard
Mount system again
Wipe dalvik cache
Flash ROM
Flash gapps
The problem isn't cwm(flash it again and see)
I only had a problem upgrading to 6.0.3.2
The only differences I've seen are the cwm startup and background and it takes about 1 or 2 secs longer to format system but it works flawlessly nonetheless...

Did you try loading the Motorola USB drivers? Not sure if that would help.
I immediately rooted, unlocked the bootloader, and flashed CWM 6.0.2.8 as soon as I got my new AHD and haven't had any problems with CWM in terms of flashing various roms, backing up roms, and restoring roms.
BTW, I have looked around and I could not find a method to re-lock the bootloader. How did you try to re-lock?
You can't re lock it.

one thing to try is to make sure that your devices id is in the 99android rules file in rules.d if you are using linux.

[Q] USB not working, just charging. Bricked or damaged by wiping system or data?

Hello guys, you're the only hope to fix this, I'm sure! I'm facing a very annoying issue, (I'm having an old BL) mine USB cable is not working properly (just charges the phone, and nothing more happens, all drivers are up - to-date. Strange bug, happened after few days while being on CM 10.1. I don't know if that is related but while using CM10.1 I used battery calibration app , tried to solve that long charging issue D) after using cm10.1 I have advance-wiped not only cache, dalvik, but also system, data , etc..then moved to 7.2 stable, still got no USB functions, computer just does not see my phone(tried 3 computers using windows 7 32/64 bit,Nvflash is also not seeing the device.) I wonder if someone could help me to fix that mess. Really would like to flash a stock rom, but nothing except charging is working. I forgot to mention that while being on Cm10.1 I used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800935 to mount storage, also some google mounting apps with no luck. CWM also does not mount mass storage. What could be wrong? Help will be appreciated ! :good:
If your cable is not working properly, only charge your phone, then there is no way to use nvflash, smartflash or cwm to copy rom to your internal sdcard. What you can do is that you buy a new cable or borrow one from your friends or from someone. If you have external sdcard then use a cardreader to copy rom to your phone.

You were on old bootloader right? If so then I am uploading a backup of gingerbread v20s.
Do you remember what version of rom did you have before you flashed cm? So We could match up the baseband and the rom.
Do you want to replace cwm recovery with stock recovery?
What version of cwm do you have? It is essential to know, because backup formats are differs between cwm versions

Here's the link, it might be uploaded after 3 or more hours. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/64768144/BIN_LGP990AT-00-V20c-BAL-XXX-MAR-16-2012-0.zip very thank you if you can !

This flashable zip overwrites our custom recovery after flashed?
Coz a custom recovery (like TWRP/CWM) prevents me from using a PC,
If these zip flashes also the recovery back to stock, then we cant go back/revert back from Nandroid without a PC..
Just a simple question, but I put mu reasons why.. Heheh.
Thanks by the way for sharing the ROM..

Works exactly as mentioned and it took me about 9 minutes to reboot and maybe another 10 to do CF root. Good job!
Can I flash a custom kernel over this?

Yeap, you can treat It like any other rom, but for safty always do nandbackup of system before.
Hi, thank you for this ROM. Can I flash it over CM11 without factory reset? Is the radio module updated too?
i'm getting battery usage data not available when i check the battery status in notifications
Many thanks
Planning on trying the CM12 kangs. This zip will allow me go from CM12 to stock through a simple flash.

plz do wipe cache (or even factory reset if you come from custom rom), every thing is Ok here
Wiped and install, however after one reboot the back/home buttons are missing and the notification bar isn't showing either.
Did a factory reset and still nothing.

Strange, this is pure stock with Zero modification.... I have no such issue here and think no one niether has this! Did you flash any seperate mod?

I tried the other stock Lollipop floating around and had the same issue. Ended up having to pull the image directly from Google. It's good to go now.
No other mods were flashed.

I had the same issue.
I updated to the latest TWRP, I then factory wiped. cleaned cache, and dalvik.
Then installed this stock rom from scratch with the instructions here and it fixed the issue.
Give it another go...
I am trying to remember the exact details. But this was almost 2 weeks ago, and I might be missing a step?
Hope not...
