[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][DISCONTINUED] LineageOS 15.1 for Xiaomi Mi6

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8.1 (Oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
*
*/
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.
Important information:
This thread is for LineageOS 15.1 builds for Xiaomi Mi 6. The following will not be supported here:
Custom kernels
Mods
Xposed
We don't support Xposed and any logcat which includes a Xposed module will be ignored. You're kindly invited to not report bugs if you:
Flashed a custom kernel
Installed or did mods from untrusted sources
Modified system files
WARNING:
This is an early preview of LineageOS 15.1, there's no guarantee it'll work stable.
Database migration from previous LineageOS is currently NOT supported, you MUST perform a data wipe before.
Tips:
SELinux works in permissive
FBE is currently not supported
NFC is a bit buggy and drains a lot in standby, disable it when you don't use it.
You need at least MIUI Global Oreo 8.2.8 firmware, otherwise you'll get error 7 when installing the zip. Latest MIUI Global Oreo firmware is recommended.
Installation:
First time flashing LineageOS 15.1 on your device, or coming from another ROM?
Download the zip(s)
Install a compatible Recovery (I recommend twrp-3.2.1-0-sagit-blankaf-3.img as it works with /vendor (/cust) partition and February security patch decryption.)
Perform a nandroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
Format data & wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache
Flash LineageOS
Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package
Reboot

Just don't use the ROM.
XDA isn't meant to be personal. Just a webpage to share work.
If you don't like it just don't use it I guess.
Whatever gets done is usually added to github so any changes can be forked into others builds so improvement happens regardless of the developer abandoning the project etc.
That's the point of android development. Its open source so progress is shared.
Don't worry too much and go with the flow

LineageOS 15.1 - 25th Feb
SELinux is now enforcing (Huge thanks to @DanWard)
Upstream kernel to 4.4.118
Blobs from MIUI Global Oreo 8.2.24
Some misc tweaks
Synced with LineageOS code
lineage-15.1-20180225-UNOFFICIAL-sagit.zip
NFC might still drain a lot of battery, disable it when you don't use it!
I am pretty sure goodix fingerprint sensor works but I can't test it as I have fpc, If someone tested the goodix fingerprint sensor would be appreciated! Confirmed working
If you find any bugs that weren't there in last build a logcat would be very appreciated!

[sGSI 9.0] AOSiP / Pixel Experience / AOSP //Personal Builds [S9/S9+/N9]

If you still want to run an SGSI (we have device specific roms now), I strongly recommend vanilla aosp. It is by far the smoothest and just simply works without issues. I will maintain AOSP for security patches until i'm using device specifics as a daily (still some bugs left). Go for my AEX or POSP now
What is this thread?
This thread is hosting my personal builds of sGSI's. As we don't have stable device specific Pie roms yet I believe this is still in high demand for you people that love AOSP roms and are patiently waiting for development. Until we have a stable device tree (which would translate into stable device specific roms) I will be mainting these builds. Aside from a few minor quirks these builds should work fine for daily usage.
What are the quirks?
For getting bluetooth to work you need a permissive kernel. You can use the magisk module provided in my mega library.
The statusbar padding is a bit off by default (fix is in my library as well)
AOSiP has longer boottime
What ROMS can I choose from?
For now my stable sGSI's are AOSiP, Pixel Experience and AOSP.
What vendor/firmware/kernel to use for what rom?
AOSiP:
S9/S9+ needs BRK3 vendor/firmware and endurance AOSP kernel
N9 needs ARH6 vendor/firmware and endurance GSI kernel
Pixel Experience:
S9/S9+ needs BRK3 vendor/firmware and endurance AOSP kernel
N9 needs ARH6 vendor/firmware and endurance GSI kernel
AOSP:
S9/S9+ needs BRK3 vendor/firmware and endurance GSI kernel
N9 needs ARH6 vendor/firmware and endurance GSI kernel
Flashing instructions
1. Wipe everything
2. Flash firmware
3. Flash vendor
4. Flash gsi to system
5. Reboot recovery
6. Flash gapps
7. Flash kernel
8. Reboot
Note: skip step 5 and 6 for roms with gapps included
If you have an issue flashing gapps because of insufficient space, do the following in TWRP. Advanced wipe -> System Partition -> Repair or Change File System and Repair and Resize

I build what I personally like, hence personal builds. And to be honest I don't like RR (overfeatured)
If there is high demand for one particular rom I might build it and drop one that is in low demand.
As I don't want to use up too much storage and time fixing build errors I want to stay with 3 ROMs maximum.

Its weird and I've had it before, just don't erase system before trying to flash, just do a factory reset, then flash the image over system, I had that error but using this works every time

[ROM][10.0][A2017x][UNOFFICIAL] LineageOS 17.1

First off wanted to thank ALL friends who were involved creating this Q for our beloved axon7. It took us a long time but we made it :highfive:About Lineage OS:
Lin·e·age
/ˈlinēij/
noun
lineal descent from an ancestor; ancestry or pedigree.
a sequence of species each of which is considered to have evolved from its predecessor.
Disclaimer:
LineageOS (Lineage Android Distribution) members or anyone else on this website is not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in the products you find here before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Your warranty will be void if you tamper with any part of your device / software.
Instructions:
Attention! The bootloader needs to be unlocked!
0. unlocked, suited twrp ( i'm using twrp3218), oreo bootstack (i'm using universal one) of your choice...you know the drill, preferable already on a custom Pie rom
1. Copy LineageOS zip, optional gapps 10.0 ( i'm using nano) and magisk 20.4 to your device
2. Boot into twrp recovery (first backup your existing stuff)
3. Wipe cache, system, vendor & data
4. Flash ROM
5. Flash gapps (optional)
6. Flash Magisk 20.4 (optional)
7. Reboot and enjoy !
BUGS :
* camera may not be working on first boot, if so reboot a couple of times and it will
What is CAF?
Code Aurora, a Linux Foundation Collaborative Project, hosts tested open source software code needed to provide upstream enablement for innovative, performance optimized, network connectivity and related ecosystems to support system on a chip (SoC) products. It also serves as a staging area for open source code that is submitted to various upstream projects such as the Linux kernel and Android. CAF also mirrors key upstream projects for use by the community.

can we have access to device tree source code.
Thanks for the great work. Pretty stable rom but I couldn't get 24Bit 192kHz Hi-Res audio output. Tried different players and their DSP engines, disabled LOS AudioFX from start but device keeps downmixing audio to 16 bit 48Khz.
Hey folks, I could use some help. Trying to install but having some issues. I'm coming from Lineage 16.0(treble). Already on O bootloader, have vendor partition and TWRP 3.2.3. I perform the recommended wipes.
The install goes well, I then install GApps Arm64 nano, then magisk v20.4.
Now, when I try to reboot, the normal screen appear but then the screen goes black and the red error light comes on. I can't get it past this.
Any ideas what I need to do different?
Thanks in advance.
A great Rom to be in Axon 7. Thanks and big salute for the hard work to developers. However, the navigation gestures are not working in Chinese version of Axon 7. Also, nav bar modules are not working either. Hope this is reported in future builds. Thank you once again. Great ROM.
Battery on Lock-screen
Great build so far. Seems to be good on the battery use too. For some reason my lock screen wasn't showing battery charge and i had to go into the "battery percentage" settings to get it to show.

Paranoid Android Ruby Beta 1 - Teracube 2e

On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app, included in our builds.
Our builds are based on the Code Aurora Forum Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.
Welcome to Paranoid Android.
Device-specific issues
- WiFi STA+SAP concurrency doesn't work
- WiFi calling doesn't work, options grayed out since AOSP telephony stack on CAF
- Release notes on AOSPA-2e/releases.
Note: Custom kernels are NOT supported unless the kernel says it supports PA and GMS is included!
Firmare required: Stock SW6. It will not work on firmware above SW6.
Optimized CAF to run on MediaTek chipsets without much hacks.
Preferably, use a single SIM card since I don't have two to test.
Grab the releases at:

That's interesting, I will have to check what's wrong with that. Thanks for reporting.
Opinion from the people using this - how does the PH-1 handle the ROM? Mainly asking from the perspective of the phone's hardware capability Vs Android 13.
The RIL stack on msm8998 devices may be too old to work well/properly on A13.
I'm not the right person to comment on the PH-1's A13 status (or that of other msm8998 devices), or on whether fixes are possible (or not)... these need a dev's reply.
