Same here, would also like to see a Android 12 Beta 1 GSI that can be booted on Mi A2
There are now two roms, the pixel experience and derpfest, that are alpha but on Android 12. I'm still not ready to switch on them to daily drive, but I'm pretty interested in the development.

Phh AOSP android 10 treble rom is already released. Pixel experience android 10 beta is already out. It's still pretty new, give them some time, there's gonna be plenty.

Ya, LOS is there I can see. No thread for PE-10 yet. I've found that on several Mi5 channels on telegram. Monstermite made a youtube video as well, you can check. May be we're gonna get some other Android-10 based roms for our almost 4 years old device in upcoming days..which is pretty cool I guess.

Since Android 12 Beta 1 dropped earlier today, I was thinking if anyone managed to flash it successfully? Ever since Android 11 Beta last year, I never managed to boot, always stuck in android logo bootloop. I've tried numerous guide but I probably missing a few steps here in there.
Anyone managed to flash successfully please kindly share your step by step guide, thank you very much!

i did try flashing gsi was stuck on bootlogo with camera popped out.
I never managed to boot any gsi directly till now and haven't really found any specific method for our device..

I've found out how to boot Android 12 Beta GSI. You need to flash A11 vendor, which is only available for Chinese ROM. Fortunately, Xiaomi EU has ported it for other region. You can download it from here.

Tested this gsi without formatting my whole storage but this is AOSP gsi which doesn't have any visual changes from google beta 1 gsi.

Unfortunately, the only modification that I could find regarding Android 12 Beta for Pixel devices that is ported for Treble device are for Mi 9T/Redmi K20.

Using Google's GSI. Just download, reboot into FastbootD and flash. But without device-specific patches it's too far from daily-driver, sadly

If you plan on continuing to develop this Rom you should go on the Telegram group of Mi 11 Dev (just search "Mi 11- AOSP Development #EDLBrickers" heres' the Supergroup ID -1001622324356). You will easily get help.
P.S : There is already someone building Pixel Experience for Android 12 on the group, but he's facing bootloop and fingerprint issues, no alarm and call sound. He will soon release it.
P.S.2: Being "Oficial" don't mean nothing in reality apart of OTA via the updater. You can easily be an unofficial dev.

I'm actually doing this in a GSI Rom, and not gonna lie with just some drivers added do the rom. It's easy to get it done. Just that the maker of Pixel Experience GSI locked the system. :/ vbmeta with disable verity and verification option does nothing either.. Would love to work with the guy that is working on the PE A12 rom! Thanks a lot for the info!

Actually! Someone made a Pixel Experience Plus Rom that is A11, so maybe using the DelmarFingerprint from this won will get this done!
For a long time there were no updates to Pixel Experience from the Chinese and decided to assemble it myself.

Important Notes:
To install the firmware, PixelExperience recovery is required, TWRP (RDS) support is not confirmed;
When moving from Android 12, memory formatting (Format Data) is mandatory;
Firmware from MIUI V12.5.6.0 is included in the firmware, do not install it separately;
SafetyNet check is passed by default, without additional modules (only enable MagiskHide if you have Magisk installed).
Clean install:
Install PixelExperience recovery via Fastboot;
Boot into the installed recovery, do Format Data (or Factory Reset);
Run Sideload along the path Apply Update -> from ADB;
Download the firmware from the connected PC with the command adb sideload filename.zip;
Reboot to the system.
Link to the official instructions with commands on the PixelExperience website (in English).
Itself was updated from the plus version to this one.

For long time there is no update. Last update is more than 5 months ago. So project on official pixel experience site is dead.

The post says that I upgraded from plus to normal without clearing it.
I can try to build the plus version but without the sanity checks.

Edit: I've noticed that screen off FOD stopped working, although it's still enabled. This might be caused by using Soviet kernel though.
Does anybody running the stock kernel have the same issue?

On the standard version, the fingerprint is read when the screen is off. Try turning this feature off and on. On Android, there is a false position of the switches.

Builds are planned but now I'm focused on writing a script for building from under Windows.
Lots of problems with this.
Usually versions appear at the end of the month.
