Accidentally flashed TWRP in the boot partition - Redmi K20 Pro / Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Questions & Answe

Hello,
So I did a mistake by flashing TWRP into the boot partition... Now whenever I reboot my phone it enters TWRP. How can I fix that or is it bricked? I can't find anywhere on the Internet stock boot images, only some modded kernels or something like that. Can anyone tell me how can I get stock boot.img and flash it so that I can use my phone again?

Stock recovery help

What is needed to pull the stock recovery image I already dumped the partition correctly I have root running on stock recovery.
I just need to figure out why i cant boot the stock recovery from fastboot
the screen just gets scrambled. But i mean i do have the recovery.img and boot.img pulled from their respective blocks. and dd'd into imgs
Maybe someone could point me in the right direction and we can have a copy of the stock recovery as well. I don't want to
fastboot flash it in case of bricking the recovery partition(Even though it should be a 1-1 copy)
I wanted to boot TWRP rather then flash it to install super su then boot into system to backup recovery partition using flashify. I can boot into TWRP but then I can't do anything after that.

[Q] Stock Rooted / Custom Recovery Process?

Long time flasher here, but I'm trying to do something I often don't do - go back to a stock rooted setup.
When I try to flash the factory images (flash-all.sh) it always errors-out saying it can't find the system.img. So I fastboot flash each img manually. The system boots fine.
But as soon as I flash TWRP into the recovery partition, there is an error message at boot that the system is corrupted and to wipe the data.
What's the trick to get this working? Do I need to flash an insecure boot img first?
Thanks for the info!
That system corruption message is normal when totally stock. You need to flash a modified boot image or custom kernel, which can be found in the forums. That will resolve the corruption message.

Fix boot

So I was restoring the stock boot image so I could flash magisk, and I ran into a bit of a problem. I tried booting it up after flashing, and it's stuck on the boot screen so I'm assuming I flashed a bad boot. This wouldn't normally be a problem, except that my volume up button doesnt work meaning I can't boot back into recovery mode/bootloader. Is there a way to get to the bootloader or recovery screen without using the volume up button?
I think you might have accidentally flashed the stock boot image to your recovery. Have you checked the option to flash the boot image and not recovery?

I'm pretty sure I flashed to boot, I can turn it on and it just shows the blu logo. Before I had a custom boot image though and it's not showing that anymore though.
I'm assuming that custom boot image came prerooted right? You might need to flash the rom that came with the custom image to boot. An easier way to get Magisk which I've done is to flash rom, then flash the unSU zip to remove traces of root then you can flash Magisk like normal.

I would do that, except with the volume up button broken I'm unable to get to recovery mode, and without being able to boot into the system I can't use adb

Mi A2 rooting issue! Help urgently

I just unlocked bootloader, flashed boot image and twrp image(temporary) from pc but when i come to my device mi a2 in twrp mode the twrp is unable to read the twrp image or magisk zip. I can see then when i go to file manager in twrp but when i am in flashing screen they just don't appear and other files names are also changed. Is there something missing. I used unlock bootloader and fastboot boot --.img . I am in November patch and my only reason to root was i am not getting further updates after November 2018. So pls help guys
Do this after unlocking critical unlock.. Your storage is encrypted just boot to twrp and do a factory reset under wipe->Format data then type yes!! now your storage will be ready to use as normal then copy your files to phone through pc Don't forget to unlock critical otherwise you cant able to flash stock rom if anything goes wrong

It's the same process. Flash stock boot.img then unlock critical. You flash stock boot and patched boot the same way. You can keep patched boot.img in same folder just change the code in flashing command flash boot.img to flash patched boot.img. If I recall correctly.
Files changed because you are encrypted flash DM-Verity to decrypt your file or do a wipe in internal.

https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-0-0-pitch-black-recovery-31-12-2020.4211697/

Install the default Stock system again from the recovery, also if the recov does not work for you
Install the default Stock system again from the recovery, also if the recovery does not work, use another one like OFOX recovery (Orange fox) and install the stock system from there, Install the phone's stock firmware or 12.0.10.
