Bloatware compared to MI8

For a month or so, I've switched to MI9 (from MI8) as my daily driver.
Noticed, and - it's getting me crazy - that some MI apps are on MI9 much more aggressive than they were on MI8 - mainly MI music and MI video.
I've found no way to disable them, nor to disable all notifications from these apps. - No root or any ROM mods are of my interest - want to keep my phone clean for future OTA updates.
Both have global ROM (OK the MI9 has EEA ROM - for Europe)
Conclusion - I get a lot of notifications which bother me a lot.
Any suggestions how to get rid of them?

Enable developer mode and USB debugging and then connect using adb.
In adb you can disable the apps you don't want, for example like this:

[GUIDE] Debloat MIUI No-root

Hi guys,
This is a universal guide to remove all the bloatware on any device. I am just posting instructions here on what I did to our specific device.
First is to unlock developer options. For this, head into settings and about phone.

It allows to uninstall and then to reinstall packages, and it suggests a lot of them. I have removed 65 packages with this tool and some more by hand (com.amazon.mShop.android.shopping, com.alibaba.aliexpresshd, com.facebook.katana and cn.wps.moffice_eng).
If you encounter problems, the uninstalled packages can be reinstalled with the command

After something like a week of testing I noticed only two problems:
After removing the package com.miui.smsextra (SMS Extra) I was not able to read nor to write text messages. So I reinstalled the package.
After removing com.xiaomi.xmsf (Xiaomi Service Framework) my phone did not want to wake up from the deep sleep mode. This was quite tricky: when I tested the alarm clock, it worked (because the phone was awake); when I slept, the phone slept, too, and the alarm clock did not work. After reinstalling the package it works again as expected.

It only hides the app - that is why it is still possible to reinstall it. If you want to really eliminate an app, try

I have installed AOSP treble rom and root it with magisk and install system app uninstaller from playstore and uninstall some system apps(browser, camera,superuser and search app). After uninstall, every time my phone stuck at boot and restart into recovery mode. Same thing was happen when I had MIUI installed in my phone and I used this adb method. Help me

I don't think you should delete superuser using the system app uninstaller. That causes bootloop. If you want to uninstall system apps on an unlocked phone without having to install magisk, you can do that with twrp itself. In twrp, go to system->app and delete the folders of apps that you don't want. That will remove apps without needing root

Did someone find a way to remove "pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.xiaomi.finddevice" without bootloops afterwards on the Redmi 7A? There are some hints that say you have to disable miui optimization in developer setting before uninstallation of the finddevice.apk. But that doesn't work. It is a very talkative app.
This is the list of apps that could be removed without bootloop issues on my device. It gives you a naked phone wiht reduced google and miui/xiaomi services. If you don't want to use an google account you can use the "Aurora Store" to install all your required apps:

You should have "com.android.mms" on your phone. It is the normal messaging app for android. "com.miui.smsextra" is not required.
You can try to deactivate miui optimization in developer settings and check if the sleep problem still exists without "com.xiaomi.xmsf ".

Hi, juste to inform you, i had a problem with sms reception since one month. I tried a lot of things, and it finally i found that it was an update of Xiaomi messaging (com.android.mms, update in August 2022) that was the problem. I could only received all sms with Xioami messaging, but each time i tried to use Textra, google message, or another app, problem occured. The bug seems to be related with rcs protocol, but not sure...
I downgrade this app to the original version and finally i could received all sms with the messaging app i choose.
So, com.android.mms is essential to the functioning of sms, but do not update it !
Also, com.android.thememanager is useful if you want to change the notification sound. After unintalling it, i couldn't change notification sound for sms

Galaxy A70 Debloat ?Heavy? - Root Only

Thanks to @fablebreton! who wrote about debloating the A50.
I made a similar heavy debloat thread for Galaxy Tabs (S5e & S6, both WiFi-only), but this my first Samsung phone, so still proceeding with caution.
There are many ways to debloat using adb, or terminal, but my preferred method is to use 'CCSWE App Manager (SAMSUNG)' paid app on Play Store, (root only). I *highly* recommend this app because it makes disabling/enabling a breeze. Search, filter, simple toggling of state, export/import lists, et al.
NOTES: Disabling default launcher (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALREADY INSTALLED REPLACEMENT) results in old-style, stacked cards recents. To me, that's a Very good thing.
For reference, here's what I have debloated, so far; I'm still in the early stages of seeing how far I can go. I have disabled 130 apps with no loss of functionality, imo, compared with a 'mature' debloat on my tablets of 221.
I have the LatAm (MN) variant, btw. The usual "this works for me, but might not be for you, do your research" precaution; package 'com.google.android.gm' is Gmail, for instance.

Just beware that if you use the Magisk Module "Google Dialer Framework" to get the Google Dialer (and therefore updates) from the Play Store that the Dialer will vanish if you don't boot with Magisk enabled and you'll have to reinstall it on the next reboot with Magisk.

Remove Bloatware Without Root and Maintain OTA Updates

Just purchased this phone recently and was surprised with all the bloat and how quickly the battery drains on moderate usage even though it is equipped with a large battery. Lineageos has me spoiled on my old device with minimal apps that aren't always running in the background slowing down my device and I wanted the same for my new Galaxy Note 10 Lite.
Credit for this thread goes to Chris Titus Tech, a Youtuber who published a video titled "Speed Up any Android Phone or Tablet" and talks about the android tool ADB. You must see that video first and then come back to this thread. It really works. My phone is indeed faster, battery lasts longer and I was able to recover approx 3GB of space. While his video was done with a rooted phone....you can still use ADB without root and the best part is OTA STILL WORKS as I just received Samsungs November 2020 Security Updates. I don't feel the need to root my phone and the device now runs so smooth.
While the video was helpful...it didn't explain which apps can be uninstalled for my specific device. I then searched XDA Samsung forums and came across a list of packages that are installed on our phones that can safely be uninstalled from the user. It really feels more zippy so I am sharing my findings with you guys and will update the list below if I come across more bloat. I left Knox and Bixby alone and just wanted to focus on apps that are not used by me. AGAIN, if you want to do this then you have to watch the youtube video mentioned above. Follow the steps he lays out to setup everything.
I do not use these apps and removing them does nothing bad to your phone! If you use these apps...dont uninstall! Below is what I uninstalled and disabled and the commands that I used for this specific phone.
