I have some experience first I ordered this
Product not found!
nillkin.org
As it said full glue whole screen not just edge I thought I'd try I messed up the installation had few dust also I found the fingerprint wasnt as good I did re enter fingerprint
Then I ordered UV Glue type and also messed that up also lol the front camera part not sure if have dip but I have like glue not going over that part and it made it cloudy so effects quality
Now I just ordered few cheap UV ones from china maybe will have luck installing one

How did you removed uv glass?? I had really hard time with older phones and uv glasses

The one I bought came off very easily just slowly lifting from edges no marks left behind , also read heating up the screen using air dryer can help just warming it

Don't you have any other recommendations for a screen protector, please? I bought a tempered glass from Nillkin, then another one and they simply don't stick on the screen properly, there is dust underneath after while.

I did install the "Spigen NeoFlex" yesterday. no problems, easy to use... no blisters after 12hours it looks like
the original pre-installed protector by xiaomi.

There was a preinstalled plastic screen protector on my phone, however, it started peeling off after few weeks and the protection is poor as I managed to broke my screen after very low impact.

Of course, if you bought the new one it has a screen protector.

@EonOfBlack
yes they do ! But I just realized it after 9 month ... a few weeks ago in vacation my girlfriend did a scratch on the "display", but after two days I saw, it was just the preinstalled screen protector ! ;P

Im happy with this one

After a few days, the "Spigen NeoFlex Film" is now coming off the round edges.
so its crap, trying now: "Ringke Dual Easy Wing Screen Protector Xiaomi Mi 11"
edit:
I think now the "Ringke Dual Easy Wing" is the perfect solution, the wings going complete over the edges of the display,
and it sticks perfect.
and the touch is more sensitive as the neo flex and the original protecter from xiaomi. (it feels like that)

This one is amazing I am using it myself. The installation with UV hardening is a little bit flimsy but doable.

Edit:
After my cover pushed a little bit at the bottom I have now not removable bubbles under the screen

I bought a UV screen protector at a local store. Very expensive relatively speaking, but they help you do the installation too. Seems like they shine a UV light on it for several minutes. The whole process took a long time but it was well worth it. I couldn't be happier with the result, edge to edge, fingerprint virtuly unaffected.

Screen Protector

Does the european Honor 7 come with a factor fitting screen protector?
If not whats the best one to buy?
TIA
It comes with a cheap one already attached.
I heard that it comes with screen protector attached is it true? is it proper screen protector or just well made film which just stick with every new phone you buy? is it in all EU/UK model?

My EU model arrived yesterday from vmall and it does have a screen protector on it. It's a plastic protector and it has been installed very well so you can leave it on if you like. I personally haven't removed it yet. I ordered a few glass protectors and plan to remove the plastic when the glass ones arrive. The plastic itself is pretty "sticky" and does get smudgy easier than glass.
I use this one and I'm satisfied with it:

Just for your information, honor germany postet this @ facebook:

So the honor 7 has gorilla glas 3.
It doesn have gorilla glass 3 yes. But that doesnt mean a screen protector isn't needed.

The factory fitted screen protector on the Honor 7 bought direct from Huawei via Vmall is very well fitted but just a temporary plastic version that scuffs very easily. After just a week, mine was badly scuffed. If you replace with a glass screen protector, just check that the cutouts match, I bought one which had no hole for the front camera flash.
Now got an Ultimate Shield protector on bought direct from http://www.ultimateshield.co.uk/huawei-honor-7-tempered-glass-screen-protector/ and it's excellent. Has all the correct cutouts, easy to apply with no bubbles and shipped in 24 hours. Uses 0.33mm glass which feels and handles a bit thicker than the usual cheap tempered glass protectors but it's real nice when on the screen and very smooth. Once you use a glass screen protector, you won't go back to PET film.
Use code SAVE104U for 10% off at checkout if buying the Ultimate Shield.
Gorilla Glass 3? Really..!!
Is it true that Huawei Honor 7 has got Gorilla Glass 3? As far as I know it doesn't have Gorilla Glass.

I'm thinking to apply THIS one though
I concur that the standard screen protector from Vmall is crap. It is attached properly but scratches very easily. I received my Honor 7 last week with the original flip cover and after a week of delicate use (I always clean the inside of the flip cover before closing it) I have multiple small scratches on it already. I will probably remove it when it gets worse or order a tempered glass one first.
Don't know about that - I carry my phone in my jacket/jeans pocket, and after 2 weeks the Vmall supplied screen protection has no scratches. Admittedly, the pockets are usually empty apart from the handset, but two weeks of use...

I'm guessing the inside of the flip cover is tougher than the screen protector so anything that gets in between gets pressed into the screen protector. Most flip covers are soft on the inside but the one for the Honor 7 is just plastic. It gets worse every day, no matter what I do. I just hope it doesn't happen to the screen itself after I remove the protector.
So only days after removing the screen protector it happened. I've already got 3 very little scratches in the screen itself. I've been very careful and only carried the phone in a pocket by itself yet it still happened. This makes me doubt that the screen of the Honor 7 is Gorilla Glass 3.
I am probably ditching the flip cover and getting myself the same pouch that I used with my previous phone (Valenta), just need a bigger size since my previous phone was 4.3".
I am quite disappointed with the quality and will report this to Vmall.eu. I am almost scared to carry my phone around with me now .
Well, thats because all those glasses like gorilla glas do NOT focus on not getting scratches. they focus on not braking if the phone falls down. if you have sand in you poket (1 corn is enough) then you WILL get scratches. sand is harder than your glass.
Bought a tempered glass protector last week for 4€, received it in just two days and it fits perfectly. For those interested, I bought this one. Cut-outs are perfect.
can anyone tell best method to take plastic off, i got honor 7 lite and i am pretty sure that it has factory plastic screen protector on since theres cuts around camera, speaker and cencor (it fits perfectly it has these weird scraches that you can see when you add brightness and watch white). I couldnt take it off with my thumbs and i really dont want to use knife....
Just use some scotch tape, cover all the top end of the screen, lift up, it should come off sooo easy.

Is screen protector needed?

Wondering if you guys are using the phone with or without screen protection? I just got my phone and just love the way it the screen feels without anything else on it. Will the screen get scratches easily without protection? I'm not sure what kind of glass this is.
no matter which glass is, sometimes get scratches... no one screen 100% scratch protected...

Yeah, i'm using a tempered screen protector
I'm using without screen protector. No scratches, but I take care of my phones well. (Except for when I dropped metal on my last phone and broke part of the screen, but surely I won't do that twice)
The Mi Mix phones are very prone to screen breakage, so take any and all precautions.
I shattered two screens on the Mi Mix, one that the digitizer stopped working (a 3.5 foot drop), had film type screen protector.
I tried the Mi mix 2, and used a glass type screen protector. The phone had the original Mi Mix 2 case, and had a drop, the screen protector broke... sheesh.
I now have the Mi Mix 2s, and I ordered an aftermarket case that surround the top edge of the screen creating a lip (the phone laying flat on a flat surface, the screen will not touch).
I bought liquid screen protector, and gave the phone screen 5 treatments over a 12 hour period.
I also installed a glass screen protector while I wait for the 5D screen protector to arrive in the mail.
I am compromising less on the case this time, and going for more protection. In the past, I have used the oem case, keeping everything slim and compact. But because these phones are not easy to service (parts are hard to come buy, and tech are not all capable of working on these phones), I am waiting on the newest case to arrive. I went with a clear tpu bumper type case, that has added protection on the corners, comes with metal button backing for magnetic holders, and a ring holder.
Screen protector will help, but a proper case is mandatory.
Cheers,
LormaD

The case, for me anyways (I had on a Mi Mix) is not enough protection in drop. I had THAT type of case, on my Mi Mix and the screen and digitizer broke from a 3.0' drop onto tile floor, hit the corner of the phone screen (it was a dead drop fall, not a toss type fall) rendering the phone completely inoperable.
The Mi Mix is / was a heavy phone, and the Mix 2 & Mix 2S are no light weights either.
I have to go with something that has a little more corner edge protection (a fall landing on the corners is a no mercy fall, it will probably sustain damage), whereas if the phone lands on it's edge flush there is considerably less damage sustained.
I wish TECH21 would of made a case for the Mi Mix 2s, there suspension absorption design is second to none, and they look amazing to boot.
Cheers
The problem with all the screen protectors i bought so far is that they all seem to be build for the mix 2, not the mix 2s. And the display of the 2s is slightly larger so there is no 100% percentage coverage in any of them. Have the phone for about 2 weeks now, already changed 4 glass protector, all of them suck because they are a little bit smaller than the screen or the roundness of the corners is smaller than the actual screen. Awaiting for alien surface to possibly launch a protector dedicated to mix 2s. Until than i'll rather risk and use the phone with no protector than use it with a ugly as hell one.

I was talking about protectors made for mix 2 being sold as compatible fir mix 2s and they just aren't. I should know sice I exauasted all the mix 2s variants being sold in my country and for the sake of experimenting i bought 2 models for the mix 2 hoping they'll fit somehow the mix 2s. Well they don't. I am still hopeless in finding a screen protector that doesn't look an feel like crap for this phone. At least one bought directly from vendors in Romania wherei live. Never had this kind of problem with the mi5 that i previously used. And i feel reluctant i paying 15 dollars for shipping from Amazon or eBay since i have no way of knowing those are any better than the ones i bought so far. So if anybody has a good protector with the link from where it was bought... Feel free to help. Thanks v

Thank you for taking the time to post this!
This is by far the best screen protector for mix2s i've seen. Thanks again for your trouble to post it!
Meanwhile i got this
https://aliensurface.ro/produs/xiao...-hd.html#/26-alege_acoperirea_telefoane-ecran
It's made by some Romanian company but it's an interesting concept. It looks great on the phone, it feels great, unfortunately it's just plastic not glass, so I fear it has zero protection against drops, but other than that it's a great product. And no, the phone was not damaged in any way while I had to spray the liquid on the screen to install it.
Without a case? TG(Tempered Glass) protector is a must have.
With the default case, one could get away with a plastic protector. I would personally still get a TG one though.
With a case that offers good protection, a protector might not be required.
Disclaimer: That is my opinion, and should not be taken as facts.
I had a mix 2 before this and let me tell you, you will get scratches no matter how careful you are. My gf bought an iPhone 8 plus at the same time I got mi mix 2 and hers looked much much worse, but you do get fine scratches over time. The ceramic on the back is really tough though.

Screen Protectors for the Mi 8

Hi,
I'm just wondering if anyone has found any good screen protectors for their Mi 8, I'm looking for one and have no idea what ones are good/bad out there because I know with my Pixel 2 XL there are loads of really bad ones and a few good ones, some really good like the Whitestone Dome glass.
Unfortunately Whitestone don't sell protectors for this phone and I can't find any LOCA glue protectors anywhere, I'm going to be having a Spigen case on my Mi 8 so I need a protector that isn't full size rather a slightly smaller one. I also want it to be full adhesive without a dot matrix visible...
Any suggestions?
Don't think you will find any. Except if you go for a plastic film.
Normal tempered glass exists, covers the full front though, check out Mofi.

We don't have a curved screen, only the glass edges.
I watched the videos for other phones like the iPhone and Xiaomi phones and the glue was visibly applied to the center of the screen and there was no pentile matrix.
The H+ line doean't cover the screen completely, did anyone try that one at least?
EDIT
Yeah, I forgot to say that I was looking for a full-screen protrctor myself. Sry for not giving proper context

Hello i use Nillkin CP+Max for Mi8 this the best full glue tempered glass with full cover design.
I have a few screen protectors for the mi 8 and a lot of them have only glue around the bezel which makes the screen look bad like a LCD and I currently have one on which is glue which covers the display which looks better but the bezels dont look as nice as the others as they're just glass not painted

Good thing we get a case with the phone, one expense less.
I'm indecise between the H+PRO and the CP+MAX. Does the CP+MAX looks bad? Does it have glue? I would love to see some pictures of those who applied it on their phones!
I am also afraid of the CP+MAX because i dont know if the cases are going to work well with that applied.

Hello guys,
Can anyone posto some photos of nillkin 3D on Mi8?
If i want to remove the glass os it easy?
AWW YISS, Nillkin CP+ for the win.
It completely covered the screen, the glue is all over it ( not only on the edges ).
The glass is smooth, touch works great, the screen isn't cut out by the black frame. It's perfect, at least for my SE.
It even works with the Xiaomi case ( it's actually a perfect fit, I had to have it on to ensure that the protector fit the phone properly ) .
There are absolutely 0 bubbles, as visible on the pic, although I had to reapply 4 times to place it perfectly. xD

Good screen protector with fast shipping

Hi guys. As the factory screen protector is garbage I am looking for options. Some I found on amazon.de, however it seems like they should be compatible with Mi10/Mi10 Pro and Mi10 Ultra, didn't know they all have the same screen dimensions and curvature. I would be keen to get a hydrogel type of coating, preferably for front and back, but I realize it may be challenging to find. I wil appreciate if somebody can recommend anything.
I asked liaow who don't stock them. Other Mi phones have the same screen dimensions though..
So I just bought the ones for the mi 10 / pro, they fit perfectly

Is it a glass one or flexible? I don't care for flexible screen protectors at all because they don't protect from screen shatters as much. And just because a flexible one fits doesn't mean a tempered glass one designed for a slightly different phone would.
Obviously you've not seen the other thread on this but I swapped mine for a hydrogel one a couple of weeks ago. Got mine from AliExpress for 10 ultra, fit superb and of course with hydrogel, you can remove and put back on, any bubbles go after a couple of days if you do get any when fitting and the best thing, they are really good at self healing. Took 10 days to arrive but well worth the wait.

I've ordered a screen protector from amazon UK.
It says it works on the Ultra, the Pro and the plain Mi 10
I'll report back if it works I think you can use any Mi 10 range protector. (for what it's worth gsmarena comparison backs this up)
Well it sucks. Did not reach all around the screen. It also didn't seem tall enough. Be wary of buying a Mi Pro protector

ah well, that sucks. I remember my Note 8 and 9 tempered glass protectors never worked with cases, so i went for the gel screen protectors which worked with any case.
after 6 months i went to tempered glass and bare back with a grippy sticker.
i think this phone might be the same, leaving the original protector on and using the 6 cases i have, then no case with tempered screen protector
you can buy uv screen protector on taobao.com or aliexpress.com
The original factory screen protector is indeed not the best. It's a dust magnet for some reason, and scratches easily. I took it off and replaced it with a tempered glass one made for the 10 pro. Fits like a glove.

K gonna try a 10 Pro glass protector. Not really out at all these days so no real need.
I bought two glass screen protectors from Aliexpress that you cure with the UV liquid/light. It's the perfect size and leaves very small gaps at the top and bottom of the display.

link, please?
I've ordered one of these from Amazon UK
Quite happy to use hydrogel, the only dislike on this one is the cut-out for camera... previous one for Find X2 Pro didn't have that which made for a cleaner finish.
Follow-up: Horrendous bit of kit, don't get this one! The USB plug moves around and the poles to line up the protector don't line up the punch hole correctly. All sorts of other problems, but those are the main two.
Where did u order it? Could u please leave a link?
Just got this IMAK hydrogel protection. Applied it a couple of hours ago. It has cutout for front camera. It is easy to align and apply, and fits very well to the edges of the screen. It covers curbed part of the screen as well. Just watching how quick remaining bubbles are going away. Amazing. I hope that the edges of case would not touch the edges of protection. Have to wait a little bit more in order to check this.

Tempered glass

Any recommendations on tempered glass for X3?
Thx

forget waiting 1 month and half for my feedback, shipping from china is not usually fast, you all should order it now
because I already checked how is ceramic protector on youtubes and a lot of reviews on aliexpress from differents phones, it is really better than both hydrogel and tempered glass.
Hi
So finally spotted accessories for our new device on nillkin main site frosted covers and a bunch of screen protectors for x3, x2 and k30
While the euro site (much faster dely if in EU) only offers one type of screen protection for the mom and no case.

Couldn't find info on ceramic screen protectors but I ordered anyway.
I also found a cool case on aliexpress that had a slide cover for camera, but no other cases.
Gotta get myself a heavy duty /360 case for when I go camping, if anyone knows a nice one, pls post :good:

How are ceramic any different? Cuz I doubt they use actual ceramic. It's either plastic or glass, and plastic doesn't protect your phone from falls
Yeah, there's no much info on ceramic, apart from sellers. Someone complained that tempered glass is rubbish because it cracks [emoji2357] That's the whole point. If you drop your phone tempered glass will save your screen. Plastic is only good against minor scratches.
If there are any decent tests/review of ceramic screens please post links. I would love to see how it compares against tempered glass

Just plastic with ceramic coating*(or Nano-Ceramic Coating)
lt is hydrophobic, which is a fancy way of saying it repels water.*This means dirt will have a more difficult time bonding to your screen, and can be removed with less effort.

Today I received my ceramic screen covers, they feel great and are way better than tempered glass, but are cut like crap so a lot of screen is covered. Thank God I didn't remove the original screen cover so I can still use it!

Bought this one. Still waiting for delivery.
It's been barely a week since I bought the phone and the plastic screen protector already has some scratches (with very light use!) should I took it off when applying a new screen protector or leave it as is?
Also what's the possibility of one of those scratches on the plastic protector scratching the actual screen? it could be possible?
using matte finish protector. no fingerprint etc on screen. bought at 2$ from local store
Tempered Glass
Every glass for the 9, 9s 9pro fits.
tempered Glass for the Samsung galaxy a 21s fits as well tho - In my opinion even better, because there is no cutout for the punchhole camera and therefore no possibility to catch some dust.
Bought a matte ceramic protector and it's frosted and very noticeably dulls the sharpness of the screen. I do like the matte feeling though, feels nice and my skin oils glides across it quite easily. It glued on much better than tempered glass screen protectors I bought in the past. Don't see any bubbles. Emphasis on the frost that causes very noticeable screen dullness though. Just for that, I do not recommend it. Good thing I ordered normal tempered glass together with it.
I have bought a Matte ceramic Screen Protector from Aliexpress and the Nillkin XD CP+ Max tempered Glass.
both have black edges which protrude slightly into the display and are really edge to edge display protectors.
The Ceramic one covers a little more of the Display then the nillkin glas.

The Ceramic one feels a little bit different, but nice. For myself i prefer the feel of glass what goes for the nillkin.
The touch input is also a little better on the nillkin
A big minus point is, that at Sunlight the Matte Ceramic is much darker then the nillkin glass.
Overall i think both are good screenprotectors, the look of the matte is really nice but but at the expense of a slightly worse touch and display brightness.
