Link Pandora to Google Home outside US? - Google Home

I live in the UK and have 3 Google Home speakers on my network.
I really like Pandora for streaming music but it's only available in the US. I have a premium account which I use on my phone (with a VPN) without issue and I would like to set it as the default music streaming provider on my speakers too.
I've set up split tunnelling on my router so Pandora isn't geo-blocked and can access it on my laptop and any other device on my network so I'm fairly confident that its working.
However, I don't know how (or even if it is possible) to set it up on Google Home? When I go to the Music section in the Google Home app Pandora isn't listed as an option so I don't know where to go from there!
Any suggestions?

Streaming music from PC

Is there any software that allows streaming music from a PC, but being able to control the music remotely, too? I mean rather than just creating a radio stream
Do you mean across your network or from your data plan?
If you are talking your netowrk on wifi then the HTC network plugin works great to stream MP3s off a file share. I use it all the time. I am quite sure it would stream video if I cared to do it.
As for streaming remoteley from your PC to your phone across the phone data plan I really don't know. I am sure there is some solution out there.
I'd prefer over WiFi (ie, leaving my PC on at home and connecting my phone to the WiFi at work)

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the HTC network plugin? I've been wondering if there's a way to browse shared folders on my home network, and streaming audio/video would be awesome.
When away, does anyone have any experience with WebGuide for Vista/MCE? I've heard great things, but the documentation is awful, and Im' stumbling around looking for clearer directions...

"winamp remote" works fine. Well, it streams the data over an internet server, which is a little bit strange when you only use them on your wifi at home.
But what about the streaming ability of the "windows media player"?
It also has the ability to stream. Unfortunately I was not able to figure out the adress where to receive the data.
Who knows it?

Request: Spotify Remote

I would like to see an app that makes the Hero into a remote control for Spotify. It would be great to control the music from anywhere in my apartment without the need to walk over to my computer.
There is a similar app called Gmote that controls VLC video/music playback, so doing the same with Spotify should be a possibility.. I hope..
You could just have Spotify on your Hero and use headphones.
Found this:

Will test it when I get home from work, and give you all a review.
Works perfect on my Hero with MoDaCo 2.3, thanks for the tip
I got the opportunity to test Remotify this weekend, and it does exactly what it's supposed to.
There is a simple interface with play/pause, previous/next and Volume. The remote also shows you what song you are playing.
Setting up the remote is easy, as the server is a single exe-file, and you only enter the pincode for the server.
The remote itself searches for the server, so it's easy to connect.
Remotify is simple, and does exactly what it says.
Remotify with Donut (Android 1.6)
Is it still working for you guys under Android 1.6.
I can install client and server OK but the client side is frozen and the control buttons are unresponsive.
Thanks
For you windows guys we have just released a video demo of remoteless, An iPhone remote for Spotify on Windows.
It got search, browsing, volume-slider and all kinds of features. We are working on a mac port, but 1. march the windows version will be released.
Nice video demo on front page; http://bit.ly/a-less
ReSpot
ReSpot is a Spotify Remote control for android - probably the most feature rich remote for Spotify available.
Visit http://h3x.se for more info.
It requires a premium spotify account.

Audio While Using Android Auto

So when I'm connected to my AVH-4100NEX, audio from Spotify works. Is this actually transmitting the audio over Bluetooth (and not USB)?
When connected, I noticed I cannot play Media audio from other apps. Why is this? Any way to get all Media audio to play when connected as Android Auto?
So far, the only advantages I'm seeing for using Android Auto vs Bluetooth audio are: Maps on screen, prettier Spotify on screen, Google Now on unit. I could do most of this with the phone itself over just Bluetooth.
Don't get me wrong, I really like it and this receiver, but it seems more limited. Perhaps it's for safety, but it's not all that much safer. In Spotify, you can't scroll through all of your library or lists "for safety", but who's to say that my passenger isn't scrolling?
I too have a 4100nex. I think music is played over Bluetooth. One way to know for sure is to disconnect the usb while it's playing.
As you said, you can't play music from other apps. There is a list of compatible apps that work with Android Auto. If it's not on that list, you can't use it. I didn't like the viewing restrictions on Google play music so I use an SD card for all of my music. I like Google maps and the texts over voice so for me, I like Android Auto for those reasons.
There is an app....... something reloaded. I can't think of the name but it will allow you to basically mirror your phone to the screen and you can access all of the apps. Good luck.

Change Default Spotify Account on Google Home

While I'm at work or out and about and using Spotify, it's not uncommon for me to get kicked off Spotify because my kids at home ask Google to play music. Our Google speakers default to my personal Spotify account - and since you can only play Spotify on one device at a time, it gives me the boot.
We have Spotify premium, and I have another generic account setup, but I can't seem to figure out how to link the Google devices to that other Spotify device. Anyone know how?

Streaming music

Hi guys
I have GW3 LTE.
Is there any possibility to stream music (any service) directly from the watch without a phone connection ?
I dont mean play downloaded music but direct streaming.
I need it for jogging without my phone and i dont want to download it previously .
Thanks
Have you tried Spotify?
I also have used Spotify and it worked very good for my usage...
Use the web browser to go to your favorite station and stream it that way. I've done it with Soma FM stations but doing so depletes the battery relatively quickly.

Supposedly you can with premium. But, I use iGear Radio pro. You can manage the stations online and play radio stations thru the data connection on your watch without a Bluetooth connection to your phone
You can use Galaxy Audio Player. It have function to play streams https://galaxystore.samsung.com/geardetail/FTUDba5gYD
You can do with Spotify but with the premium version. Unfortunately, you cannot do that with the free one. I knew a few programs and I have one I am currently working on. I am a sound designer and software developer and I am currently working on a new project where I try to implement cool sounds made using some free VST plugins. My main concept is making a good playlists (user editable) which will be streamed 24/7 online so the users don't need to download them but just listen directly from their portable devices.
