i've got this initial msg on my boot :
dm-verity corruption
your device is corrupt.
it can't be trusted and my not work properly.

Or, device will power off in 5s.
(written in white)
NOW i tell that it didn't happen after bootloader unlock (so it was unlocked and all good no problem )
but honestly i don't remember if that happened when i tried to upload official rom through Miflash !
Anyway is there any way to remove this? I re installed ( clean install ) official Rom and it's still there, locked bootloader back and it's still there tried some
fastboot oem enable_dm_verity
i'm also warning new user that you might get this msg at boot !

I done everything but my phone doesn't unlock so now I have the dm-verity warning and I can't do a clean flash with Miflash. Also Miflash Unlock doesn't work. What I can do now?

How can I do? Miflash says:

bro you have relock bootloader, this is a fatal error. the only way is try to unlock with an mtk tool that do this via pc. you can find on internet. search unlock all mtk devices. i think there a link also on xda

i'm aware that there are guides out there, but i'm honestly not the best at all this flashing stuff, i have done it to a few phones but this one needs to be done just right!
So, where should i begin?, i reckon i should start with unlocking the phone via the unlock tool (i am registered and accepted) and then flash TWRP via that tool?
or is the best/only way of flashing TWRP with the ADB fastboot?

There is a Mi5 flashing tool, but I've never used it.

my problem now is i have no idea how to get miui 7 on it. Iknow that all CM based roms will end in a bootloop if i try to flash with that on.
i have tried a number of things, last time i tried i ended up with it not detecting my sim card, so i had to revert back to Miui 8

Use miflash tool to flash latest stable global miui 8, then flash CM

No, the MIUI need to be flashed through Miflash tool
TWRP through fastboot
And CM through TWRP
No adb at all

Your thread is getting slightly confusing so let's do it step by step.
Is your phone currently unlocked?
To check, put it into fastboot mode manually without adb:
Turn off your device. Then turn on your device again while holding volume down button.
Plug in your device. Use fastboot:

Reboot your phone. Post a screenshot of your "About phone" settings menu.

I also tried this way.But not miflash tool. I use twrp to flash global stable rom,boot up the rom and flash twrp through fastboot.And then you can flash your favourite rom.

I have unlocked phone.
I have USB debugging enabled.
I can reboot to fastboot via adb.
I ca flash twrp (twrp-3.0.2-1-gemini.img 25.2M 2016-07-19 18:48:36 EDT).
But when i go to recovery i still see Mi PcSuite thing. No twrp.
What am i doing wrong? IS there some other, more appropriate twrp image?

I got mine sorted out, what you are missing is when you are done flashinh you have to type "Fastboot reboot" and then set TWRP to default recovery

Same problem for me, when i type "Fastboot reboot", my Mi5 reboot quickly and after when i go to recovery i see also Mi PC Suite....
Do you have a workaround ?
Second question, is it normal that time to send TWRP.img to phone in ADB is only 0,9s ?

GUYS Please help I'm Scared as hell, my K20 is stuck in fastboot mode and I don't know what to do! So here is what I did, I heard about the K20 Pro 81hz refresh rate Mod and the android 10, I couldn't find twrp for k20 so i decided to flash k20 pro's twrp (which probably was a big mistake!), I don't exactly remember what exact files i was flashing! I remember after flashing few files or just the twrp of k20 pro (i dont remember exactly) my phone was stuck in fastboot and is still now if i restart or go to recovery or anything it just leads me back to fastboot screen. I flashed android 10 recovery rom via fastboot,which i was not supposed to do, i didn't know the difference b/w the fastboot and recovery rom at that moment, but when i did i downloaded another rom but a stock rom for k20 fastboot variant I don't remember where I downloaded all the files but I downloaded the recovery rom from : https://www.xda-developers.com/download-miui-11-beta-now-for-13-xiaomi-devices-changelog/ and I downloaded the stock rom from : https://rootmygalaxy.net/redmi-k20-and-k20-pro-stock-firmware/ and I downloaded twrp recoveries from other sites, well I guess this is not important where i downloaded these. But after I try to flash the K20 Stock Rom by Mi Flash Tool (keep in mind i tried to flash the android 10 rom with mi flash tool also and that too by any all settings like clean all , keep data, clean all lock, i was just trying everything to get my phone to work! ) So then it gave me error of mismatching device so i searched on youtube to fix this error and tried it but still it wasn't flashing, then I thought maybe when I was trying to flash the android 10 rom many times I might have locked the boot loader, so i used the mi unlocker tool to see, i clicked on unlock it said it started the process, 3 step process of verifying device ,unlocking ,and done but it showed an error on the verifying device it said "can't get info, connect again ". This scares me have I locked the bootloader and now is there no way to unlock it or what??? I found the solution all i had to do is change the rom folder to C:// and it worked!

Bro first of all u need to edit the flashall commands with the notepad and then u should put the rom folder on the desktop and put the mi flash tool on a separate folder also on the desktop if u want me to tell u what to edit just message me and i will tell u how ?

Bro first of all put the rom in a folder on the desktop (one folder and the files in it ) (not folder inside a folder)
Next copy the flashtool folder to the desktop also
Next edit the flash_all.bat and remove the commands up and keep only commands that starts with (fastboot)
And save.
Then choose the folder and then flash and make sure u choose only (clean all) and not (clean all and lock) from below goodluck bro hope the picture will make you understand

What I have to do? or maybe u have a method to solve my recovery. Fastboot works, bootloader unlocked. Let me know if u need logs. Thanks, at the moment I have no working phone.

Be sure that you are using Fastboot rom , and not a recovery rom.
Make sure that your ADB and drivers are up to date, and finally you may be experiencing the driver issue issue that a lot of people with Ryzen processors experience. I had the same issue on my Intel neon processors. This can be fixed by flash the batch file from here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=82607121&postcount=25
Unpack the fastboot file twice on your desktop and then combined with the batch file it should flash.

You can simply upload zip on device with adb command and flash by using stock recovery mode

I tried to flash my patched boot.img (via_magisk) with the MTKROOT V2.5.5 tool. -https://www.ayudaroot.com/root/vivo/como-rotear-los-telefonos-vivo-x60-pro-plus . The first problem was unlocking the bootloader. That did not make the tool. The tool failed .. I unlocked that manually in fastboot mode. After the bootloader was open, I tried the tool for the second time.
That was probably the serious mistake! The tool has transferred the patched boot img. So far everything was o. K. Then I booted to the Recovery Menu to clean the data and cache partition. (Factory Reset). Then restart system. Since then I have a bootloop and it was not possible to boot into recovery mode.
Then I flashed from the Indian Rom the boot and the recovery image.
Now the device booted again in Indian Recovery Mode (English). Then I tried to execute the recovery WLAN update. Unfortunately, the system has found no access points when searched.
!! F *** K !!
The next day I tried to flash the original CN-ROM with the QPST flashtool from https://www.needrom.com/download/vivo-x60-pro-plus/ ..
Here I had problems installing the Qualcomm driver for the EDL download mode or to boot the device in the EDL mode.
Without success!
Finally, I tried to flash all the items of the CN-ROM from Needrom via Fastboot. The Flash order of the items I had from the partition.xml file on the CN-ROM.
But I still have a bootloop ..
No access to the recovery WLAN Update-No networks are displayed ..

My PC is over adb unautorized, after the Factory reset...
I managed to get this full rom from Recovery, there is a option to download the full last rom and burn. I use another phone with photo google translator to navegate in the menu.
I know this option with the update from the WLAN - but this option is no longer available to me - after the search for a network is completed, no further networks are displayed. He doesn't find any networks.
And the second problem was - I cannot import this Update.zip into the main directory because the PC is unauthorized.
It wasn't just the MTK tool that was wrong.
I think our mistake was you mixed recovery and boot of another Rom. I did that many years ago with Huawei but for me it was a hard brick. Better not mix!

I spent almost 5 hrs yesterday tried to flash from CN ROM, Origin OS to Global ROM, FunTouch OS. I used several methods including AFTool, QFIL, and QPST tool. None of them succeed.
AFTool - failed to flash because missing Fastboot batch file in the global firmware.
QFIL - failed to flash because, Qualcomm Driver 9808 not detected.
QPTS - failed to flash because, Qualcomm Driver 9808 not detected.
I like Origin OS but the reason I want to change to FunTouch OS is because Origin OS didn't come with Google Mobile Seevice package. In fact, 'Hey Google' also didn't worked out.

OK, if we manage to restore my device, I'll give you instructions on how you can unlock your bootloader. then at least I know that in an emergency you also have the option to restore your device.

I like Origin OS but the reason I want to change to FunTouch OS is because Origin OS didn't come with Google Mobile Seevice package. In fact, 'Hey Google' also didn't worked out. YouTube Vanced also always failed to open.

same here, my device is iqoo 7 cn origin os i downloaded from android 12 website, failed to upgrade in recovery mode when in hardware check.
both on funtouch os and android 12

Custom firmware, custom opensource vendor
I wasnt able to boot into the recovery today for some reason, i was using the recovery from here https://t.me/HelioG85_Updates/268
In a moment of genius, i decided to get this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.mxbi.reboot and used it to boot to the recovery , now my device is bricked, doesnt enter fastboot or the recovery , and i cant turn the device of meaning i cant flash with sp flash tool
My bootloader is unlocked. i do not have a xiaomi account anymore
I have my imei and nvdata backed up, so i should be fine on that regard
Please do help me, This is the only phone i have and i cannot get a another one . If you help me i will be forever greatfull to you, Please help me i am desperate

So sp flash tool will lock your phone to engineer mode if it turns off follow this instruction:
prepare sp flash tools to only flash recovery (the one you want to boot into)
then click the download button to start flash
then wait for phone to get to boot( when image appears, before it gets to reboot plugin your phone to pc)
sp flash tools will flash then when done make sure you reboot to the custom recovery
then if you can access your system from recovery , look next to build.rop for recovery or rebootfromrecovery.p
copy the file somewhere
edit in notepad to clear everything, save it then use the edited one to overwrite

I am going to try the mtk bypass tool, is that going to work? if not i am going to try your instructions, however it did not boot into the recovery even after reflashing , i have tried that before with the twrp app
It cannot detect the device, it isnt in device manager either, i am getting scared
edit: actually it gets detected in device manager as "usb serial device (com4)" when i hold the power button, volume up and volume down at the same time, when i do that, the device stays with a black screen
SP flash tool still does not detect it
it seems to be disconnecting while in this state
Please help, i cant turn the device off
sp flash tool says STATUS_EXT_RAM_EXCEPTION i was trying to flash miui 12.5 R i will try flashing 12.0.5 q since thats what people are using

You need to flash the SAME miui version present on the device first.

But i do not know which version was present before, i was using a custom rom when it bricked...
I do think it was running 12.0.6 EEA Q
i am trying to flash miui 12.0.5 global, will that be okay?
It is now giving me "error status error" please help

Certainly, mixing files from different miui versions, bricked your device.
You need to flash the correct miui version to fix the partition table.
And then, you can flash another miui version using fastboot.

No, this is not waht bricked my device, i rebooted to a custom recovery while on a custom rom and thats when it happened
