Question Photo album alternatives (Android and Windows) - Vivo X60 Pro+

Hey everyone,
When I take a photo in Portrait mode, I have the option to adjust the focus after the shot in the Albums app.
Are there any other apps I can use on for mobile and Windows that will allow me to adjust the focus, or is that feature gone when a photo is uploaded (full size) to the cloud for backup?
I'm asking because after a while I want to clean up the photos/videos on my phone to free up space but would still like to go back to some of the older photos every now and then.
Thanks!

[Q] Strange Gallery Problem

I am having some weird problems with my Gallery app.
1) Gallery seems to take a long time to open certain photos. While the photo is opening, the screen will usually timeout and turn off before it's even displayed. If I keep the screen awake, sometimes the picture will never load. I can flick to another photo and then back and I'll see the picture.
2) Copied a few photos to a folder on my Internal SD card. All of them are around 1-2M, 72dpi photos taken with various digital cameras. When I browse to that folder in the gallery, it will hang and take forever to generate the previews. Of the 10 photos in the gallery, 8 of them will not generate a preview and I can't open them. I have one photo that does open but the same exact photo that was touched up in Photoshop and has all the same properties as the original will not open.
Media scanner is working, I am able to add/remove photos to the internal storage and they open fine on my laptop, I can take new photos although they don't always show up in the gallery immediately.
My phone is the Vibrant and has been rooted, fixlag applied, and Captivate camera apk installed. This problem was happening before I changed the camera software.

[Q] Rotating Images from WS

Hi, I have a problem with the SGS not being able to rotate images the right way when you take a picture with the phone strait up... I upload alot of images to ex facebook and other photo uploading websites and the only why I could get the photos to rotate was to link it with the USB in windows and manually rotate them in ex windows photo gallery.
Is there any APP that can change or rotate images on SGS, or maybe they fix it in Froyo.
Thanks everyone for any help.
Photoshop Express (free on market) can rotate and save your pictures as well as lots of other effects too

Tried it don't work, as the phone thinks the images are already the right way i can't even rotate the image. It's like the phone rotate the images auto, but don't save it to the file :S
You can see if the picture is the right/wrong way in a filemanager like astro. Galleries just rotate them auto.
Okey, now i have a picture upside down... wtf!? Is there any linux cmd to rotate pictures or files, becouse im getting sick of this! My xperia could do this in a fly, why can't my SGS do this!?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
Been there before.. what I did was use the crop function in gallery, but I still selected the whole picture, then click save. I will create a new file & upload it to FB..
or just simply use the rotate function of the gallery.
try it

[Q] Viewing photos while in camera app:

When I take a photo I can view it by swipinh left, taking me to my photo library. My problem is that the photo's load in chronological order, leaving the new photo at the end of the library.
I cannot find a setting that would allow me to reverse the order.
Can anyone walk me through?
Alternatively, before lollipop the new photo appeared as a thumbnail on the screen. Is there a way to activate that.
First one... That's odd. When I swipe left, my most recent photo is there. ...in reverse chronological order. It always has been in Google camera even in kk.
Secondly, not on stock / Google camera

Why camera is always with x 1.0 Zoomed ?! if i want x 0 Zoom...?! and google photos..

Hi!
Having zoom 1x means...everything will be at a scale of 1 times 1. (1x1=1).When you zoom in it will become 1x2=2 times closer...and so on. So if you wanted 0x1 you'll be having zooming out to the point viewing your note 4 internal components or...getting into a black hole that would take you to another dimension
About the google photos, just download Google Plus, and it will install an app called photos. Once you enter that app it will ask you if you want to backup your photos, make sure to go to settings and select the quality of the uploaded photos, if it's smaller than a certain resolution, it will upload all photos with free cloud storage (will not increase usage space)
regards!

thanks for your respond
but for the zoom.... how is it possible that with other phone cam it does "zoom less"...?
and for google photos - i'm looking a way to download sync the photos from the cloud to the PC.. not the other way...

It is caused by different matrix aspect ratio (originally 16:9, not cropped 4:3 like in other models) and view angle which is a bit lower then in different phones.

P20 Pro Depth Map

Hi there,
When faced with the task of factory resetting my p20 pro, I remembered that I have taken many photos with the apature setting. I want to make sure that I don’t lose the depth information on the photo (the huawei gallery app recognizes that the photo was taken with apature and then let’s you adjust the strength of the bokeh effect and focus point, then saving your results as a new photo). I have some questions about this I was hoping you guys could help me with:
1. As far as I understand, the depth map is encoded into the meta data of the photo - no extra files. Is this correct?
2. Is the depth map a standard or a Huawei own version? Ie. could I reapply the bokeh effect with third party software (not the type that uses a 2d photo, the type that uses the actual depth map)?
3. I back up all my photos to google photos. Is it then enough to wipe the phone with the google photos backup as my only source? Would those photos contain the depth map and if so, how can I then edit the photo using the depth map like in huawei’s gallery app?
4. If not, what are my options to keep the apature photos with the depth map for use after the factory reset?
Many thanks for any help you guys can give!
Most simple thing you could do is to copy one image to PC, then delete the original one from the device and then copy&paste the picture from PC back to the phone gallery and try if aperture (bokeh) works.
