Hi, xda. Im have phone with custom rom pixel expirience. But after swimming (has been droped on pull), i have a troble with screen. My screen is green and he sometimes fix yourself. And my question is wtf)?

I had today a very strange problem with my xperia. I did not drop it nor it was exposed to water.
when i turn on the device i get this white halo in the middle of the screen that goes to the corners of the screen. the screen looks washed out.
never had this problem before.
please advise.

If you only see patches of light around the edges and in the middle on a black background, all it is is a bit of screen bleed, its normal and most x1s are like it. The reason is the X1 has a very strong backlight, if I turn my X1 up to full brightness it hurts my eyes and I find it difficult to look at, when your using the phone normally you dont see it, only when you turn it on, when there is no image.
Xperia screen display problem.

I can see lines on my xperia ,the phone has autoadjust backlight set as of now.
When i boot up the phone i thin lines on the screen.
Please advice if its a problem with the display or any other issue.

I experienced exactly the same problem today.
When I connected the phone to my computer, the whole screen went white.
(This was the first time I connected the phone to this particular computer.)
Then I had an incoming call, i unplugged the USB-Cable (SE Original) and took the call - which lasted maybe 10-15 minutes - when I disconnected the call the phone returned to the default today-screen, but there was now a "halo", "ring" around the screen. (See attachment.)
Immediately performed a backup and Hard Reset, but the problem persisted.
So I thought it might be heat-related, so I let the phone be, and half-an-hour later the halo had vanished.
Specs:
Xperia X1i, Swedish.
ROM-version: 1.02.936.3
ROM-date: 08/29/08
Radio: 1.06.25.29
Computer:
MB: Gigabyte EP45-DS3
CPU: Q9450
OS: Windows 7 x64.

I turned my backlight to max and it did not at all look like that.
Send to repair..
Yeah, that's the thing, now it's back to normal I can't make it appear again, not by turning the backlight to max, not by plugging in the cable and taking a call like the last time.
Though I once had a TFT overheat on me, don't ask, I believe it looked similar.
That too returned to normal after about an hour.
So, I guess that's the solution - Don't panic, just wait a couple of minutes.
the ssame thing is happening to me. it gets worse when i receive a call and i would have to turn the screen off and on to return to normal
Hi all! can anyone help me.... i tried rooting and installing lag fixes with speedmod the other day, then i reverted back to stock with a fresh froyo 2.2 DXJPA. the problem i have now is my screen has a very thin straight line across which is noticible when the the screen is white or in light colour. is this becos of what i have done with the phone?? plz help cos im afraid it wont be covered under warranty...

sounds like a hardware issue to me.... go into testing mode by opening your phone type *#0*# and do the LCD test at the top, there is red, green and blue. if you see the line in any of those then it's a hardware issue......if you did get water in there and the dye pack is still good they should replace the phone
Sorry i know that it is an old post but i didnt want to open a new topic, i have 2 or 3 thiny grey lines on my sgs screen. i did perfom rgb tests and it barely noticeble on r/g/b colors, but when i open a web page with white backround i can see it clearly. more strange thing, that the lines almost dissappearing when charger plugged in. i have my screen been replaced two weeks ago. never dropped and never been in contact with water. will appreciate any ideas. thanks.

i have problem. i have droped x8 from about 1m and when i get it in my hand the screen was black.
Probably the screen is broken. But before i orded new i have open my x8 and see that screen is not broken or something like that.
there are no color just black. and sometimes when i press it harder i get vertical green line.
is this the screen or the hardware on my phone.
I have check the mbo but its seems fine...

It looks broken i think.... But how did you manage to broke your x8 i have dropped my many times even throwing it without anything happend
i dont know i was just put another karnel and rom.
and its just fall from my pocket becouse i have the hole -.-
and its just black screen. i have order new lcd from ebay. But i will kill myself if the mbo is dead -.-
IMO if You turn on Your phone and You can see green light and feel quick vibration than only the screen (or digitzer) is broken. So if You replace it with new one everything should be fine.
yeah its light up green the led and vibrates. but screen is dead. the digitizer is fine.
well like 1 week ago i dropped my samsung galaxy s and my screen cracked up pretty bad, so i went to a phone repair shop yesterday and had my screen replaced
i was using it today and then colours began messing up and i began to see red, blue and green beside every icon or detail on my screen then after about 2 hours the screen wouldnt light up, i can unlock it and use it fine, so the touch works fine but well with a black screen.
so is this a problem with the replacement of the screen or can it be fixed by myself because the repair shop is really far away from my house so i cant go there oftenly.
My device started last week with a stain in the screen that I can´t fix, has anybody have this happened?
It´s a yellowish mark on the top left side of the phone, haven't droped it or smashed it, or anything other than regular use, does anybody know?
