Question Redmi note 10 pro (sweet) custom ROM to have automatic circular small black notch while using camera by any app like in miui - Redmi Note 10 Pro

In any custom ROM there is Halo effect in front camera for redmi note 10 pro as there is no ai generated thicker punch hole notch like miui auto generates. Does anyone know how to have it automatically be there when the camera is accessed by any app (just like in miui)?

I use this app

One plus 6 or Mi 8

Hello everybody ,
as you guys are owners i would like to ask which phone is better as a honest review one plus 6 or mi 8 if in my country the difference is 100 $
Mi 8
I think it's only a personal preference. The hardware is the same, so no big change.
Both MIUI and OxygenOS are well optimized and work flawlessy, just decide if you prefer android stock style and notification icon on the notification bar (OnePlus 6) or MIUI style and functions like parallel apps, parallel space, two app focus in split screen ecc. (Mi 8).
Both device are very fast, both screen are at the top, both SoT are ok.

Gcam or stock cam app with dynamic shots/live photos (like iphone)

Hello World!
I have a question/request.
Is there any gcam mod version with dynamic shots/live photos/ motion photos and with frontal flash working (the real flash not the screen) for mi mix 3?
I have android 10, but the stock camera have dynamic shots/live photos/ motion photos missing, i saw other models like redmi 8 or 7 having this option.
Thank you for your help!

Question Gestures active area problem

Hello, I have a poco m3 pro running miui 12.0.10 global + default POCO launcher, not rooted.
Left & right swipe gesture active areas seem too narrow for me, I find myself having to use the tip of my finger in order for it to register, otherwise it won't swipe. I thought it was the case so I ordered another one but same issue. Anyway to widen the area a bit so I don't have to try 3 or 4 times for it to register? I removed the applied screen protector but nothing changed.
This is the case I have. I tried fluid gesture app and that gave me an option to widen the active side areas and made it much better, but I'd like to use the default app. I've never had this issue with my older phones (pixel 3A XL, 4a 5G).
maybe is a firmware issue... with older version same problem?
I ended up installing FNG and increase the left and right active areas and have it running with MIUI gestures. Stupid MIUI.

Question 48 MP IN AOSP ROM?

I have tried Gcam and MIUI Camera magisk module, but none of them allow me to use the full extent of 48MP camera on the device, photos taken in GCAM show up as photos taken from a 12MP camera and the ones taken from the MIUI cam is shown as those taken from a 8MP Camera, how can I use the full extent of 48MP Camera?
Just saying , Im using the Unofficial Superior OS Rom, based on A13

MIUI cam depends heavily depends from the ROM configurations, MIUI core and libs for it to work. those need to be built into the ROM in default
thats why you get those 8MP shots
on my redmi note 9 pro, ROMs that fail on these dependencies above will take shots of much lower resolution from the 64MP camera, and even worse from the pixel binning (16MP, basically the "Photo" mode in the viewfinder), including the failure of some camera modes, like portrait.
these dependencies need to be from their own phone, so, the redmi note 9 pro has to have its original MIUI camera core and libs, so does the redmi note 10 5g.
ROMs cannot have another phones dependecies or else it would probably be a bricking ROM (if those are built in, same for flashing systemless camera modules sometimes)
GCam is a normal phenomenon, GCam always uses pixel binning.
for instance, the redmi note 9 pro has pixel binning from 64MP down to 16MP.
the redmi note 10 5g has from 48MP down to 12MP, thats your result
64/4=16
48/4=12
this occurence of pixel binning is the process of combining pixels into larger ones, capturing more light and reducing artifacts on the photo. however, most of the detail is preserved, therefore there shouldnt be any issues on the general quality
theres really no possible way of using the 48MP camera sensor to offer a high-resolution image. however, you can use the upscaling function (if it’s available in the GCam port you installed) to enlarge your picture. but take note, it won’t have any effect on the image’s quality and it will remain just like the 12mp one (basically resizing a 2000x2000 picture to 4000x4000), making any gallery app think it is a high-resolution image and let you zoom in.
