Since it's unofficial rom, ota is not possible
Did anybody else got a Bricked message when installing this ROM? It told be that it cannot Boot due to bad boot partition or similar. Sadly I could not make a screenshot or a Photo.

U can use orange fox unified recovery. BTW am not maintain evox anymore. Euchingu is maintaining it since two months
btw, using this evoX 5.9.2, my SafetyNet get success on basicintegrity and ctsProfile. another thing is that I do not get error system again... cool

There is no official evox for our device yet.
U can get latest unofficial build in our realme 5 Pro global group and channel.

I did a clean flash. When I restored the previous backup, I meant after I couldn't boot the clean flash of your ROM, I restored the backup up of my previous ROM otherwise I'd be stuck at the fastboot screen permanently.
I wiped data, system, vendor, caches etc first before flashing the ROM
Doesn't boot if magisk v21 is installed. Anyone have any luck rooting the ROM?
No exfat support so can't use my sd card ( nearly 2021 and occasionally you'll find a ROM like this that still doesn't include this, strange) . No 2 button navigation mode option which is annoying too

Do we need to flash the realme ui firmware prior flashing this update, like we used to do for pixel experience roms and others or simply flash the legion OS, please post the step by step guide. One more thing is this rom used as a daily driver ,does anyone has reported any bug or so. please respond. i would also like to now whether this rom got monthly updates and tweaks.

I installed this ROM 2 weeks ago, and this is a wonderfull rom.
No gapps for me. It was a pretty difficult in beginning, but now the rom give me its all theses capacities.
No exfat => ok, sdcard formated
Magisk installed
The unlock face doesn't work corectly, so i use the finger print.
The many legion settings are very nice to customize the phone.
No bug for me

magisk latest version works just fine. Ensure that you do a clean flash. And flash magisk after ur phone boots up for the first time

My issue solved by changing recovery to twrp....i already used security lock...all working fine and no more bug right now....thank u so much sir...godbless....i love this awesome cherish os rom...

Hope u understand the meaning of beta releases. In beta releases, dont expect all the features to be there. The themes, animation and Miscellaneous have been intentionally left blank and will be added in future releases. As far as faceunlock is concerned, no custom rom for any device has added it yet. If u want 100% features wait for stable release or use cherish 2.10 which is based on Android 11. For A12 to be stable it will take time. Have patience.

The themes, animation and Miscellaneous have been intentionally left blank and will be added in future releases. As far as faceunlock is concerned, no custom rom for any device has added it yet. If u want 100% features wait for stable release or use cherish 2.10 which is based on Android 11. For A12 to be stable it will take time. Have patience.

I know I was only saying cause being a beta2 I thought I was going to have them even if a little glitched. And as a tip I'd put a native AppLock because CherishOs is the only custom ROM that I have ever liked through my 7 years of modding.

U can flash any A12 rom with twrp or ofox recovery. By the way u say u r on miui stock, so are u a redmi user. This thread is for realme 5 pro.

hi, Dynamic Partitions cant be wiped because it can dynamically change sizes of vendor, system and product. it was implemented in Android 10 based phones and above, while Android 9 and below have seperate partitions
