Well ofc he Lie. Next Time @Fire1511 don't try to copy someone else work and make it yours it's quite disrespectful to dev who make it. And + do not give wrong information about "fastboot flash recovery" coz why dude this is A/B device it doesn't have recovery partition. So next time use ur brain and don't copy someone else work.

THREAD LOCKED
@Fire1511 I've compared the hashes of both the builds and they're the same, i.e. you didn't make any changes. Since this is not your work, this thread is being locked as per the original developer's request, and also as per the following post of yours:

You need open the zip and go to META-INF\com\google\android\ and extract update-binary file. After that you need open and edit update-binary with Notepad++
Is easy to edit. Only go to search tool and write kenzo. You need only change kenzo to kate. Done

In the next release we can check for both kenzo and kate. However, before we do that, we will need clear confirmation (from somebody who has actually installed and used it on kate) that the kenzo build does actually work (rather than that "it should" or "it will" work) with kate.

Why? It works perfect on my kate! Flash with latest RedWolf...you have to change "Kenzo" to "Kate" in update-binary script...thats all!

- The installer was solved and this time it is only a flashable zip
- upgraded to oxygenos 11
My SanDisk MicroSD is not working on in this recovery, either.
MTP is extremely slow and doesn't work at all, this happens on any TWRP version iv'e tested
And as MetaruSonikkuX said, an sdcard still doesn't work, no matter what I try
Links dont work?
What's the difference between this (orangefox), and twrp.
I always used twrp since switching from clockworkmod recovery back in the stone age.
Works great. Thanks!
I just noticed that MicroSD isn't working, but OTG is. Hardly the end of the world, but would be nice to see that fixed. Definitely better than any other recovery for this mode. Thanks for the hard work!

Good ole clockworkmod! Those were the days, REAL Talk! So much fun, nowadays it takes an act of God to get a working recovery and then, you're still not guaranteed any custom ROM's or any support. Kinda like this phone, lol! The hoops we had to jump through just to unlock the bootloader is ridiculous, my Nord N100 still doesn't even exist according to Oneplus or any site I enter the imei!
used ADB sideload and now its stuck cancelling ADB sideload. Any way to reboot recovery or power off phone.
EDIT: hold volume up and power 10 seconds (dont mind flashlight)
I got an error:
"""
E3004: This package is for billie, This device (OnePlusNordN10) is not supported.
E: ERror in /sideload/package.zip (status 1)
"""
is this recovery still in active development for this device
Finally got to try this for myself on my T-Mobile Nord. I really like this recovery it's clean, user friendly, and has all the features you could ever need as a root user. I personally choose this over stock TWRP haha. Thank you for your hard work!
EDIT: it's beautiful to have the ability to chance the splash screen for recovery mode... Hopefully this recovery continues to be developed...

Anyone tested?
Flashed it via unofficial TWRP recovery without GAPPS. It does not boot. Further tests ongoing. Maybe flashing LineAge Recovery (boot.img) is necessary.
Nevertheless thanks to the creators please keep improving!

Holy cow. After 8 months since the Mi 11 was release, we finally get a taste of a non-MIUI custom ROM.

Nice... unfortunately I can't check it out as I don't technically have this device... I have one that appears to be mostly the same thing but not quite. Do you know offhand what is different from 3.5.2 vs 3.6 for TWRP? I didn't find a changelog yet and I'm curious as to how hard it is to port/recreate this for the Moto G Power 2021 as it appears to have more or less the same hardware... is it using a different board? Either way ty for doing the thing

Yeah it works pretty well, that's the one I'm using. I was initially writing to just ask if you can explain what changes between 3.5.2 and 3.6 and it got me wondering also the real difference between the G9 and 'g power 2020' - I didn't mean to bug you for support for the wrong device, sorry

No encryption support?
The twrp asks password for decrypting the storage. What should I do?

You can use this https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ncrypt-disk-quota-disabler-11-2-2020.3817389/
I suggest just keeping your phone encrypted though. TWRP without encryption support is pretty much useless. You'll be sacrificing a lot of security and, in exchange, you'll be able to access files in your phone's internal storage from the TWRP file manager...which is worthless since you can just connect your phone to a computer to achieve the same thing. You'll be able to backup stuff but you won't be able to restore anything.
Yes, I'm salty because there was ZERO MENTION of this TWRP being unable to support something as essential as encryption. The flashing guide is extremely obtuse as well. Do you seriously think someone new to Android hacking will have any clue what a vbmeta is or where they should get it from?
Anyway, now my phone is stuck in a bootloop and all my app data is gone (even though I've disabled encryption and made the backup with encryption disabled) just because this piece of junk won't restore my backups. Gee, thanks. I think I'll just go back to the stock firmware.

It is supposed to be the unlock password, but this isn't working by the look of it from booting. Shame, it is a feature I need before I can install it.

I talked with developer over Telegram, and he agreed that the problem might be a display mismatch. I provided a patched boot image. Let's see if he can do something here. Otherwise, no chance to have OrangeFox on this device.

I cross my fingers, same thing happened with Pitch Black recovery. Any other custom recovery works on your side?

None works. I had to make a very simple port from a non-touch custom recovery to make some backups I really needed, but is also full of bugs and I had to Uninstall it. Better wait for developer to sort things out. If by any chance you are looking to root this device, you can easily do it flashing a patched boot image through fastboot.

Why won't custom recoveries work in MIUI v12.5.1.0? Even my TWRP is stuck at the logo and now my device is stuck in that state and can't even go to fastboot.
Still trying to fix it but I can't find it's stock recovery so I can use SP Flash

You just have to download an OTA for the exact MIUI version you have right now, and there you will find stock recovery and boot.
