Obrigado por disponibilizar este quarto. Estou usando normalmente e sem bugs. É um ótimo trabalho e obrigado. Sou do Rio de Janeiro, BR

Thanks for making this room available. I am using normally and without bugs. It's a great job and thank you. I'm from Rio de Janeiro, BR

So originally I was getting the following after I flashed:
“Startup Failed…device didn’t startup successfully” - something about missing firmware.
But I did not understand how strict that Android 9 ROM requirement was and wasn't actually sure I could flash that ROM first but once I did and installed the latest rom "lineage-18.1-20210714-UNOFFICIAL-albus" with "MindTheGapps-11.0.0-arm-20210412_124103" everything is working perfectly on my Moto Z2 Play, I am impressed.

This ROM deserves more attention. Rock solid, bug free, battery efficient, working encryption. Even has install script for those who prefer on screen buttons instead of fingerprint gestures. Good job.

Hi, iI have succesfully unlocked bootloader, used TWRP 3.2.3-0 to install installed Magisk 17.3, then installed the Magisk app 23.0 which updated Magisk to 23.0. Then I booted again in TWRP 3.2.3-0 (though fastboot) and try to install the July 14th version of LineageOS 18.1 for Albus. I get the Aroma installer screen, answer the question and then it says (after very short time) succesfully installed LineageOS, but after reboot It is still the Android 9.0 Motorola . In the log file I see
AROMA Installer version 2.70RC2

Any suggestion? Would be really nice to run Android 11 on my device!!
EDIT: Nevermind, I noticed the TWRP 3.5.2_9-0. That solved the problem......
EDIT2: Now I end up in a bootloop.... Any suggestions?
EDIT3: Fixed bootloop by resetting to factory defaults from recovery. Nice ROM!!!

I actually found a bug with the Moto Mods projector. When battery hits 0% on the projector and starts using the battery on the phone, the projector will sporadically crash.
Is there any way to provide a fix for this? The rom is flawless except for this bug that really kills using the rom for me since I primarily use the phone for the projector.

great job perfect all function

Very nice rom! Elegant, minimalistic, fast and stable - great job, thank you!
I'm missing one function though: Moto Actions -> Fingerprint pad gestures.
@davidsonsjesus : do you think it is even possible to include this functionality in your next build?
BR!

Fingerprint gestures worked fine for me. Maybe you chose navbar during install and that disabled them?

I've tried both configurations - fingerprint pad works just fine, it unlocks properly. What I mean is functionality included in for example Havos or AOSPext - pad can be used both with screen on and off, several actions can be defined (for swipe left or right, od longpress and so on), and it has nothing to do with my fingerprints - the pad works something like touchpad in laptop.

Moto mods 360 does not work.
Is there any way?

Hi, i've Lineage 16 on my Moto Z2, can I install this ROM or I need to install stock Pie?

Great rom, thank you so much!

I follow all steps and got stock on the lineage logo initialization, can someone please let me know how I can pass this?

What?
Its battery saver, just limit some background tasks.
Thanks again for this great ROM release to all the developers, all your efforts to keep this phone updated are very appreciated!
Sorry if I post a question already asked many times: which is the right way to update an already installed Lineage 14.1, without losing apps and settings? Is it enough to copy the new rom into SD card and use TWRP to install it, without wiping/deleting nothing?
Gapps must be reinstalled or this step can be skipped?
Happy new year!
Thanks a lot for this ROM.
Do we have to wipe when updating to a new weekly?

To flash LineageOS without data loss:
-Uncheck "Zip signature verification". Because presently the LineageOS do not come with a MD5 file.
-Swipe to confirm Flash
-Wait. LOS needs 1 to 5 minutes. Depending on your device.
(Ignore the two red error messages "E:unknown command [log]")
-When done tap the "Reboot System" button
The reboot will be very slow. LOS needs time to complete the update. The LOS animated logo will be display during the progress. Be patient.
(No need to reinstall GApps)
Woohoo more lineage updates finally!!!
Thank you very much for this ROM,
I hope this is the only lineage ROM, no RR, Octo-N, Palm lineage based ROM anymore
I hope there are many RR, Octo-N, Palm come as extras that we can flash it after Lineage ROM as add-on instead of whole ROM.
Hi, I just flashed this ROM to my device, then few minutes ago i plug my device to my laptop.
Now, the battery become 100%. I feel its very fast charging, is it true?

gpu lags?
Hi guys , I've noticed that when i run an 60 fps video on youtube or an app that uses the gpu when i pull down the quick settings it has a small lag . Is the mali 400 gpu not handling it? This happens on Stock Rom too
Does that work on F variant?

For FM Radio we need to use SPRD RIL, so its not possible.
For IMS Service bug, I have fixed it:OctOS Device Tree
So from now use my device tree for ROM building because Djeman's outdated.

Hi,
currently I am using this ROM [Sailfish]..
I noticed that the WiFi hotspot got error when turn it on.
Agreed, waiting for new update ?
I'm getting a bootloop on marlin. I've wiped everything.
Lineage OS Version : 18.0
Download URL: Link for marlin on post 1.
I wiped, couldn't restore due to boot loop, and I have rebooted.
I am using only the zip, no modifications.

Edit: Nevermind, I forgot to do a data wipe.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 13, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Code:
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
What is working:
- WiFi
- DualSIM, including calls on both SIMs
- Bluetooth
- NFC
- Camera
- Sound
- GPS
- Fingerprint scanner
- Sensors
- SD cards
- Double tap to wake
- Data encryption
- SELinux enforcing
- OTA updates
- Signature spoofing
- Most other basic stuff
Spoiler: Known issues
Known issues:
- VoLTE
Installation guide:
Spoiler: Using Lineage recovery
1. Recommended Samsung firmware version is A705FNXXU5DVK6, but it will work on slightly older versions too.Make sure that the bootloader is unlocked.--
2. Boot the phone into download mode. Flash Lineage recovery through AP button in Odin.Download here. Note: Use TWRP at your own risk! It does not properly support new A13 roms with the latest changes.
Use Lineage recovery for the best experience, otherwise don't complain if your phone bootloops.
--
3. Boot into recovery (Vol+ and Power while USB is plugged into PC) Note: Samsung's OneUI wipes the custom recovery partition and possibly vbmeta while booting so try not to reboot into Android.
--
4. Format data and system in the recovery--
5. Flash the rom in "Apply update" menu. There are 2 ways to install:
On the phone: Copy the zip to a FAT32-formatted microSD card and install it in recovery.
With a PC: Use Minimal ADB on Windows. Open "cmd-here" and type
Code:
adb sideload <rom-file>
where <rom-file> is the filename (drag-and-drop the zip file into cmd window).
--
6. (Optional) Flash add-ons such as Google apps or Magisk in the same way that you flashed the rom.We now have a working ramdisk so newest Magisk works fine ^^
--
7. Reboot and enjoy
Downloads:ROM: lineage-20.0-20230619-UNOFFICIAL-a70q.zipRecovery: lineage-20.0-20230619-recovery-a70q.tar* Lineage 19.1 is still maintained here.

Other info
OS version: Android 13
Linux version: 4.14.190
Recommended firmware: A705FNXXU5DVK6
Build date: 19.06.2023
Screen off fingerprint not working even after enabling it from settings. However, to lineageos 19.1, it was working as expected.
Will look into that, thanks for reporting. You can use DT2W or raise to wake in the meantime
Edit: fixed as of 20221126
Still downloading hope no sleep of death
all good on the a70 (sm-a705mn) for now
thanks for the rom
Great work as always, thanks a lot
New update is now available, with Screen off FOD fixed (make sure you enable it in settings). You might also find that Always on display is turned on by default, it can be turned off with a quick settings tile. You also can update through settings app on the phone.
For OTA updates I recommend Lineage recovery and, if you need root, Lygisk. Don't report bugs with updates if you use Magisk.

Don't expect VoLTE on _any_ rom for a samsung phone, there is no implementation in AOSP. Official devices lack it too. No developer has bothered to do volte so far (and probably won't unless there's a good reason). Other than that, we're pretty much as bugless as we can get currently.

Thanks, due to needing Volte for calls and texts, now that 3g is shut down, looks like im stuck using stock.

Apart from that, only thing you could do is use OneUI mods.. volte might happen one day if someone takes the time to reverse engineer it but so far we're out of luck. This is a problem on every samsung device on AOSP, and with other makes, YMMV.

It modded with magisk and safety net pass. Debloated and such. I really like los though.
Personally I'd say los is a great experience as long as 3G calls are not a problem, I use it on my daily phone which has no volte either, but at least is maintained officially
(Also in many countries 3G is shut down before 2G so I'm pretty sure 2G can still be used in those)
How to make dual sim work?
Works out of the box if you haven't messed with the efs partition and did a clean flash. You can also try 19.1 just in case.
vendor needs to update
Why? Even the security patch wasn't bumped. It's not so urgent, it was literally released today.
muito obrigado, A70 é muito mais rápido comparado ao LOS 19.1, você tem uma recomendação de kernel?

Use the lineage kernel, it's most stable and has good performance too. Older "mod" kernels will not work with android 13
My phone can't detect sim 2 on OTA builds but in the older builds it does. A705MN/DS.
