Update help - Xiaomi Mi 9 Questions & Answers

I have the MIUI Global version 12.5.1.0 RFAMIXM, can I install the version beta 12.5.1.0 RFAEUXM? I'm asking because the last letter are different.

I don't think you can. RFAEUXM is for EU, not Global.

Sadly no =(
Can anyone post an screenshot of the 'all specs' page of the global 10.2.12.0 ROM?
Any changelog and how to get this one? 10.2.11?
Sorry, I am very confused about the Rom no.
because I received 10.2.12 around 2 weeks ago via OTA which is global stable(my not mod anything only developer option on).
So Why they just released official 10.2.11 yesterday? This is weird for me.
Can anyone explain me about this please?

Probably 10.2.12.0 is not public (for all) but a closed beta Stable for a group of people

The only thing that I am missing with the global version is the frequency of MUI updates. With the Chinese one I received two updates in less than a week.

I'm on a UK ROM and was on v12.0.7. Changed the Region to Switzerland, now I'm on v12.0.10. So no way of updated to v12.5 when If I can see a 12.5.3.0 EEA package exists. These is quite a mess with this fireware.

If you want 13.0.7.0 flash it with miflash.(not global but EEA).

If your device is Chinese do not lock the bootloader.

You can upgrade with OTA , but you can't use Miflash with a locked bootloader.
You cannot upgrade from global to EEA without unlocking the bootloader.

This may be due to settings or you did not format the data before the flash.
