Devices that have same codename can run each other's ROMs/recoveries. For e.g. ZE550KL and ZE600KL both have same codename "Z00L". Hence, ROMs made for ZE550KL will work on ZE600KL and vice versa
Exception: ZE500KL ROMs work on ZE500KG though they have different codename

Where Does Official Z00T "droidboot.img" exist?
Is there anybody who knows where exists stock fastboot image "droidboot.img" for ZE601KL (Z00T)?

I tried a lot to get the OTA update, but couldn't download it. So I changed the URL with the version number and the download started. Also does the OTA update have the latest Gapps. Cos it sucks to have the Gapps installed in the data partition now that we can't even move apps to SD.

Just found some answer which can be seen on my post HERE, hope someone with the same model will get it.
As I had to dig quite a bit, I think you should post @shakalaca 's guide to root ZE550KL updated to latest versione of Marshmallow, which as of today is ZE550KL_WW_21.40.1220.1794
Acutally this is the only way to root the Zenfone Laser 2 720p updated to marshmallow rn, by using pre-rooted system.img and boot.img

I think you need to unlock the bootloader before being able to flash twrp

I have recently updated via odin to android oreo and I have not been able to downgrade, no problem, but I would like some developer to make the twrp compatible for a7 2017 with Oreo. Thanks, I'm waiting for your help.:good:

I'm looking for best bets for choosing a good firmware update for this older SM-T810 tablet that I still like. It is Wifi-only.
The tablet recently got very flaky on Android 5 so I let it install an auto-downloaded image for Android 6. The new image probably came from Samsung since I was told at purchase that device had official Samsung firmware for Android 5.1.1. (see ABOUT DEVICE below)
Things got worse using the new Android 6 image, so bad that I'm ready to install new firmware by sideloading.
1. Since the device was rooted by prior owner (see: DEVICE HISTORY below for details) I am guessing I have little to gain by sticking with an official Samsung image--unless nothing else works. Does that sound right? And, does anything prevent me from going the non-Samsung route?
2. If it makes sense at this point to try a non-Samsung image, my question for folks here boils down to this: where am I likely to have the best luck finding a build that will work well on the device? For example, I wonder
who are the most experienced makers of firmware for this older tablet?
and which version of Android--7 or 8? Should I avoid 8 or go for it?
(I've seen an unofficial Lineage OS build for Android 8. I believe that Android 7 builds exist, too.)

Seller told me "What you would get out of the box is the official Samsung OEM firmware for Android 5.1.1 (XAR-T810XXU2BPB1-20160323135521) with the official Samsung recovery. Updates will apply without issue, either by directly loading with Odin or SmartSync, or doing an OTA firmware update....It is running pure stock firmware now. Since it was rooted at one point, the Samsung Knox flag is tripped. It's the only thing that would distinguish this device from a new-in-box tablet."]

Thanks. I didn't know it had GTS210 gpu.
Notebookcheck.net and Wikipedia show it as ARM Mali-T760 MP6.
Whatever, Lineage OS 15.1 doesn't seem to have any serious competition. Hope it works when I try it--first time jitters!
I got N on mine for a long time. Now I get O 15.1 linesgeos now. It looks like the best for gts210wifi for now.

I have rooted my sm a600fn running android 10 WITHOUT a custom recovery, but can anyone give me the link for the twrp for sm a600fn android 10, because although there are a lots of videos about it, all of the twrp links are for android 9 pie. Will the twrp for android 9 still work for android 10? If not can somebody please give me the link to the android 10 twrp for sm a600fn?
