Question Bug with unlocking the phone - Redmi Note 10 PRO - Redmi Note 10 Pro

HI all,
I was wondering if you could help me - I have a Xiaomi 9 SE and lately I am having some issues with unlocking it. As soon as I press the right button form the terminal to unlock it, nothing happens and the screen keeps being black for some time. After 6/7 seconds it gets unlocked, but this can be a bit frustrating some times.
I am considering buying a new Redmi Note 10 PRO or Redmi Note 10S for my partner, but I am scared I might find the same issues I am facing with mine.. Do you guys know if on the Redmi Note 10 PRO this problem is there too? Also, do you have a preference between these x2 terminals (which one is better)? I am looking mainly for good camera and long battery lasting.
Many thanks!

Hi vlatko98,
I tried both in Xiaomi Shop and the Mi 5s is better IMO but since Xiaomi didn't release the kernel I choose the mi 5 because I don't wanted to take the risk to stick with MUIU.
Cheers

Does the Mi 5 have a quick shortcut to start the camera app? I haven't read anywhere how, but mind telling me? A button press? Shaking, or what?

You can long press the volume down button to take pictures while screen is off. The screen will stay off though, so you won't actually see what you're taking.

Nothing else? Like a double tap or click? Anything?
If you are going to buy the Xiaomi Mi5 , get a very hard case because it can break easily if you accidentally put a lot of pressure on the device physically. It's a very good phone. 10/10 performance , 8/10 camera ( compared to S7, google pixel) , battery life 10/10.
The Xiaomi mi5s is not worth your time...
I bought mi5 64 gb white,it will be a long time to arrive, but i am waiting thx for the suggestions guys

Developer ROM has an option you can activate to launch the camera app with a double tap on volume down with either screen off or lockscreen.

Mi 8 Touch screen issue - Laggy edges

Hi,
Is anyone affected too ? Typing edges letters in the keyboard is a pain in the ass, there is too much delay. Every corners have delay, this happen in horizontal too. Pocophone seem affected too :

Mi 8 China - 128GB Blue - Xiaomi.eu 8.9.24 MIUI 10
I will try the app, but writing is not a problem on my Mi8 6/64 China version. We should check production date, maybe.
No issues here. Can understand that there could be an issue with F1 with it's cheap display, but probably a software thing.
Calibrate it maybe.
Same problem please any solution?
Yes it happens. I'd fix it by activating on screen buttons. It seems that most of the lag on MIUI 10 is related to the full screen gestures. Give it a try.

No problem, glad it helped. I encourage you to use the comments app included in the phone to report this kind of bugs. I hope they step up their game on the next update cuz the OS experience is kinda far from complete.

I did it. thank you very much, is Shame I love screen gestures. The question is why does it all happen to us? What can affect some devices?
I have the same problem, i bought on mi chineses site. Bought 2 weeks after launch, i'm using right now 10.0.5 stable chinese version!
so depressing to see all this people that had this problem and i bought a redmi note 7, which is a 2019 phone and it also has this problem...
Omg at last someone who reports the same issue... I'm experiencing exactly the same with full screen gestures and keyboard edge buttons don't work sometimes like the letter "p" or "q". Also the "go to home" screen gesture doesn't work sometimes and requires me to lock and unlock the phone for it to work. Don't know what's the problem but at least I'm a little relieved because I thought I had this problem only ?

no issue on 20 pro here , that being said mine router is dedicated to me , just outside mine room .
Couldn't connect to my network before i updated it once but no issues after that. A friend got the same phone from the same shop with no issues even before updating so no, no real issue. Probably got unlucky there.

Redmi 9 EU 4/64 screen flickering, and vertical lines on screen

Hi, recently my Redmi 9 has been having issues and I don't know if it's because of the update to MIUI 13 Android 12 or if it's something else, but I can barely use the phone now because I can barely see anything on screen because these vertical lines appearing. I searched online and can't find a solution to the problem, so I was just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue...
