Hi there, I'm thinking of installing the Android 12 beta GSI version on my Mi A2. I found my device is treble compatible with ADB commands.

Are GSI ROMs suitable for normal use? I plan to use it for a long time after installing it. Android 12 is a great system and the only way to experience it is to install a GSI ROM. And it's so simple to do.
If anyone has installed Android 12 beta 4 or different android version GSI ROM before, I would be very grateful if they share their experiences.

YunOS is the crap OS from the Chinese company Yunos. It officially supports the N5, but has not updated since 2014.

you better look for MIUI if you like the unique style, or better look for the Mokee Rom.
Yeah, that is kind of what they are mimicing, but it is completely incompatible with many apps and xposed. It is an os designed by alibaba off of AOSP, but they deny it. My wife had a phone for about a day that was a pure yun phone. About a day 'til I bricked it . Still not sure why in China many think the iOS look is cool.
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to mention this to everyone but I haven't seen it posted here either, but today / yesterday android 11 beta 1 was released for Hydrogen phones.
I've got the Chinese variant of the OnePlus 7T Pro and it installed like any other "local" update.

I have had both Oxygen and Hydrogen installed on my device in the past but I'm not sure if everyone is able to. Make certain you know what you are doing and accept the risks that come with installing the beta. If you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them.

I'm afraid not, we've had reports it will either be in OOS or stable build.. whenever that will be... Next year... XD

I think you need to write a guide or something to help others to flash this.
Pls dont flash another bloatware+spyware, there are too many better Open Source ROMs. If you want to flash this, then use MIUI, your stock rom instead.
When can we expect custom roms and twrp for gt2 ? Bootloader unlock tool has released recently.

My personal opinion is about custom roms, for now they are good but they have some nasty issues. I tried POS for more than 4 days and now I'm back to RUI with root. Let's see how far this phone goes with custom roms, but for now I'll wait. I don't want to offend the developers, I even thank them for what they do!

if my phone in coloros 13 , flash done but it bootloop
before that i flashed in 1 phone running color os 12 , it worked perfectly
The cause of the bootloop is definitely color os 13

If you have ColorOS13 then you'll have to use OxygenOS13 which is newer than the ColorOS you already have.
A similar thing goes, If you have ColorOS12 you'll have to use OxygenOS12, OxygenOS13 WILL NOT WORK.
Try to downgrade to coloros 12 before flashing oxygen 12. Use the downgrade package 12.1
