Question Launching the camera freezes the phone - Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra

Hi everyone,
Is anyone having this problem. From time to time when I launch the camera I get a black screen and the phone stops responding, unless I restart it. I was having this issue when I was on 12.0.1 version, then I guess it was fixed on 12.5.2, then reappeared on 12.5.4.

I'm on the Xiaomi.EU weekly and was previously on CN 12.5.4 stable a while back and haven't experienced this issue before.
I take it you've tried clearing the Camera's data and cache files?

Upgrade to 12.5.12

offcourse, even formatted internal partition and trying flashing using mi flashtool (fastboot rom) give me same result,.
I have exactly the same issue. I tried to install many different MIUI ROMs (China Stable, Global Stable, Global Dev, Xiaomi.eu), but I wasn't able to fix it. I've also recently had my phone serviced and as a result, the screen has been replaced, but even that hasn't solved the problem. I'd like to note that (in my case) the issue started to occur after installing LineageOS 15.1 - I haven't noticed this problem before.
Try flashing the lazy flasher.zip after installing the miui rom.

Mi 8 does not turn off or reboot after some hours turned on

I'm having the same problem in all versions. After running on the phone some hours, if you try to reset or power off the phone, it doesn't turn off at all. The screen goes off but the phone is still on. It keeps working. It can be tested turning on flashlight and powering off or resetting it, the flashlight doesn't turn off. It does not turn on again until you force reset by pressing a while the power button. I think it's related to the GPS problem, after some hours the GPS stops working, and this problem also appears.
Looks like I have the same problem.

I think its a firmware issue, because I'm not the only one affected by this problem. Two friends on miui 9 and me on miui 10...
Nvm got the same bug.
I've installed with miflash latest miui 10 global beta, ant the problem is still here. I've found this problem only when gps stops working

Same problem with last miui 10 eu
Dont have this problem on official global beta miui 8.8.7, sounds like software related issue to me rather than a hardware problem;
Yes, I think this because before unlock the bootloader and flash the miui 10 Eu i dont have this problem
Seems that this problem is fixed with the last miui 10 Eu 8.8.9

Xiaomi.eu has noticed this problem on their latest version too: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-8/how-to/rom-miui-10-8-8-9-xiaomi-eu-t3827802 (see changelog)
Hello guys, I'm facing this problem too on MIUI Global Stable 9.6.4.0, I reported the issue on MIUI forum, it would be great if you could kindly confirm my bug report to obtain more attention. Thank you. http://en.miui.com/thread-3726710-1-1.html

Good day,
from today I hv a problem on my AOD, it keep my display always ON even when it's in standby with date + times

I tried a wipe, then to upgrade my rom fm eu 8.25 to pie eu 8.11.1 but the bug is still here
Someone can help me?
I'm in that ROM and I do not have that problem. install the Chinese ROM to remove any errors and then install the ROM EU again.
I did that once but the sensors did not work.

Thanks for you quick reply
I will try but I don't understand how to flash "original" chinese rom could solve it. If I'm not wrong I need to do a full wipe before eu flash, so all info by previous rom should be deleted
You have to format data before installing eu rom.

I'm facing the same problem! Just bought mine "Global Version" from China with MIUI 10 9.5.31 Beta.
In 4 days it rebboted 6 times, the last one happened today and I realized it was when I was unlocking the device with the fingerprint scanner.

exactly happened with me.
I have the MIUI 10 Global 9.5.31 Beta. I have random reboots during phone calls. Always had them when connected to the car bluetooth.
Do you know how it is possible to upgrade the ROM? Are there updates via OTA?
Thanks Gianluca

Question Can't update redmi note 10s

Hi, I'm having problems updating redmi note 10s to latest version.
I just bought the redmi note 10s a few days ago and it comes with MIUI 12.5.16.0 RKLMIMX so I think it's the global version.
I went to about phone section and tried to search for the latest MIUI version but it can't find anything and then I tried to download the official MIUI 13 update package but one of this messages apears "Can't verify update. Couldn't verify update package." or "Can't verify update. Can't flash this stable ROM."
As far as I know the latest version is MIUI 14
What can I do to update to the latest version?
Try with the V13.0.6.0.SKLMIXM then V13.0.8.0.SKLMIXM,etc.progressively.
Stable BetaRecoveryV14.0.2.0.TKLMIXM

You are almost a year late in updating.
The solution would be to unlock the bootloader, update and lock it.
I turn off mobile data and WiFi and then changed the region from Mexico to Russia, after that I rebooted the device and turn on mobile data and WiFi and check for new updates and it found the 13.0.13 miui update, I installed the update and then I was able to update to miui 14 from the official package.
Thank you @NOSS8

Glad for you, forgot to mention that, 3 threads same problem.
What's funny is that where I mentioned this method it doesn't work and where I forgot it works.
I have the same problem, the only case being is that the phone is pre-owned or a secondhand phone, upon purchase, I noticed that the phone was a bit slow or lag even without any application installed on it. I tried updating the miui version but all it shows is 'Can't connect to the network'. I am stuck on 12.5.16.0, what can I do?
