Stuck on RAMDUMP mode - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have tried every single method there is to recover from this mode but none is working.
Tried holding onto power button + volume up, power button + home, all buttons at once. Nothing.
Any suggestions?

Holding volume down + home then press and release power = download mode. Pull the battery and push the power button for up to 30 seconds....battery back in and try the 3-button combo for download mode.

Key combination for when things go bad

Press menu + vol down + power.
Hold down all three buttons until the tablet reboots and the screen momentarily goes off, then after about one second the Samsung and Android logos appear in white.
Now we are at the point where the tablet screen has just gone dark. You have less than one second to:
1) If you release the power button now, the tablet simply reboots.
2) If you keep holding the buttons the tablet enters Download mode.
3) If you very quickly, VERY quickly, press VOL UP, while still holding down the power + menu, the tablet enters the recovery.
I have not found a way to switch it off other than entering recovery and then selecting reboot/power off.
Hard reset only is actually just hold POWER + VOL DOWN

Can't get into Bootloader (Download) mode

I tried following nirogu325's One-Stop Guide and I'm getting stuck on getting my wife tablet into Bootloader mode.
I've tried Power Off, Hold Vol - and Power, but nothing happens (and I mean I've held the two buttons for 75 seconds).
I've tried pressing Vol - and Power and then letting go, and nothing happens.
I've tried using ADB reboot bootloader and ADB reboot download and the tablet will at least power off, but it never reboots.
Am I missing something simple?
This works on the Samsung SGH-I957 8.9 Tablet: Press and hold these buttons: Volume Up + Power button

Tab S2 stuck on boot screen (not animated Samsung screen, not loop)

Stuck on the boot screen, won't turn off, not in boot loop. I've held the power button for a while, nothing happens. Waiting for it to run out of power to see it I can then charge and try to get it into download/recovery mode.
Any suggestions?
Hold POWER +VOL DOWN
Never mind. I had tried the power button but not the combo for recovery (didn't work) or download (did work with the quick change over to recovery once the screen went black).

Not sure why I didn't originally just try this, but I guess I figured if the power button alone didn't do anything.....
Wasted a good deal of time searching, everything I found was for loops or downloads screen. Well maybe this simple thread with the title will help someone else.
Now I just need to figure out how to get Xposed on the thing. That's what I was trying to do when it locked.

That just causes my screen to go dark and then the same screen reappears. I've tried POWER + VOL DOWN, POWER + VOL UP, POWER + VOL BOTH, POWER + VOL x + HOME. I guess I'll wait until the power dies unless someone has another way to force power off

Well of course it causes the screen to go blank its a hard reset.
What screen are you talking about.

UPDATE: after letting it sit for 2 hours, POWER + VOL DOWN + HOME triggered download mode.

Note 5 volume button broke stuck in safemode.

Hi my volume button down is broken and everytime it boots it's in safemode.
Whenever trying to access recovery it normally boots up when buttons are pressed.
Booting into download mode freezes it, I have to do a hard reboot by pressing all the buttons.
Volume/power button work fine when in use.
I've opened up my phone to disconnect my volume button it stills boots up in safemode.
I've tried 2 new roms still in safemode.
Hello brother,
Even you flash 2 new roms still booting up safe mode, bad seen
i feel your volume down button was keep pressed maybe,,,,,maybe (it should be b coz of dust or something else).
to be confirm is that your volume button broken or pressed follow the steps below
1. switch on your mobile release the power key and Press again the power key and wait till finish the boot, (if the device get restarted it means we can confirm your volume down button was pressed & hold)
2. press home button & power button check if the device is going to download mode ( if you stuck press power button u will get exit)
how ever try to clean the volume down button inside and pull slightly. after turn on your mobile.
if your damn sure volume button was broken not working at all, then lets think about it

Stuck in Safe Mode

Phone was running quite happily running Linage 15.1. Accidentally left it in the car over the weekend, only to find it totally dead - flat battery. Charged it up and switched it on, only to see it in Safe Mode.
I can get into Download mode (Volume Down + Home button), Recovery Mode (Volume Up + Home Button)
To test the Volume Down button, I tried to boot with Volume Up +Volume Down + Home button pressed and it just boots up - unfortunately in Safe Mode. So it doesn't appear to be the volume down button, yet in Safe Mode the volume Down button doesn't do anything.
I have tried leaving the battery out overnight, Flashing stock Rom.
Any Ideas?
Update: I replaced the volume cable - no change.
