How to use Microg with OOS/Beta Roms

Hi all,
We know that microg is great lightweight alternative to google crap. Is anyone using Microg specially with official OOS/open beta roms? Can you please share the way to do it?
Thanks!
No one?

Thanks for your reply. Is your script working with open beta 5?
This is where I should be looking, right? : https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3t/themes/flashable-remove-gapps-stock-oos-roms-t3562983

Just to reconfirm, OOS roms do not support signature spoofing (or do they?) so removing gapps will work?
Can you write a feedback here about the battery and whether the notifications are delayed?

I guess you can use NanoMod (Magisk module) to enable signature spoofing.
@silentkiller143: I have made a flashable zip to setup microG automatically and remove conflicting GApps: microG unofficial installer

Which ROM are you using? Heavily modified ROMS like flyme, MIUI, etc don't support Google Smart Lock. I always used SmartLock with RR, CrDroid, LOS and other stock based ROMs with the mini package.
I don't think having pico already installed has anything to do with this. Opengapps zips have scripts to automatically install missing features

I really don't know why it's not working. I used SmartLock in the very same ROM. I clean installed RR 5.8.3, then installed gapps mini before booting. At the end of the first boot setup, Google offers you to enable and set SmartLock. Hope that helps.

Edit
Case solved
I found the solution.Security/settings/trust agents/activate the smart lock after installing mini or aroma package if any small basic package installed first. Thanks for your help.:good:

Yes, if you pass Safetynet
This will work for the latest version of LineageOS for MicroG ?
Nebrassy, I don't know how long that creation was, but this is priceless! I have passed SafetyNet easily, with others I had bootloops or no network.
Samsung Galaxy S6 (G920F) + LineageOS 16 from 14.09.2019 + MindTheGApps 15.06.2019 + Magisk 19.3
thanks !
One make for Wayne converted 6x
thanks for this module...

What's your favorite ROM/Kernel setup?

I'm currently using SkyDragon, with the built in HolyDragon kernel.
Whats your current setup & your favorite?
Usually I use HavocOS with Either Smurf or Franco. I usually Experiment on other ROMs and always go back to Havoc. However I might switch to OOS OpenBeta..
Since I had issues with Magisk + Google Pay I'll stick to the stock OOS

There's a magisk module to pass safteynet called magiskhideprops config, it's odd you're not passing in general I'm running the latest version of magisk (19.3) plus edxposed and still passing and can use Google pay (I can't because neither of my banks support it but the app works)
I think you should add xXx NoLimits. It also support 6T.

Offtop:
Yeah I know,
My device passed SafetyNet and it was Google Play certified but while using GPay & making payment I had "unexpected error", even GPay support didn't know how to fix it.. reinstalled back to stock and everything works fine.
Stock rooted with stock kernel..
Maybe I'll look into a new kernel
running either Stock or Beta with custom kernel Omega.
the best for me is Stock + Franco Kernel
Stock (not betas)+ blu_spark+magisk+edxposed+renovate ice+gravitybox= almost custom rom

Yeah I doubt GPay support would even have a clue what to do when a ROM & Magisk installed. Have you tried doing a full clean ROM flash after using the MSM tool?

You need to add those apps as well as Google play services and framework to magisk hide. Then it'll work.

To flash from another ROM I have to format storage?
OOS beta or stable , omega is the best kernel by far in terms on performance & battery life
( It doesn't support kcal , vibration & sound control)
HD kernel is also very good
For custom, Skydragon , LOS, Omnirom treskmode
Currently on Bootleggers 4.2, such a great rom. Highly customisable.

Question Best GApps found?

I've noticed GApps have been very strange on these Android 11 ROMs.
NikG apps, my usual, does not install on DotOS, arrowOS, or Cherish. I have been using flamegapps instead which is good, but wondering if any alternatives are available?
I'm on Lineage and Sakura and use BitGapps with no issues. Never tried the OS you mention above.

In my opinion, Nikgapps may have some issues with some ROMs. Opengapps (still in beta) are worked fine for me, though I don't use them. I prefer Flamegapps basic, which always work for me without any issues for the ROM I test/flash.
Cheers!
- the only gapps that always works for me are old Bitgapps with R19 tag
- Nikgapps usually works also, but they're also installing survival script, which is most of the time not working and disrupt any OTA update I tried
- Flame gapps are good, but even basic version install unnecessary part called digital wellbeing (which can be installed from Play store) and that's why I don't using them...

Nikgapps works perfectly on cherish but you have to uncomment some line at the top of the installer script, so that it installs in the right partition. Could check when I'm in front of the computer, tell me if you don't find it.

I did not know that Nikgapps needed some uncomment/edit to flash/work.
At the same time, when Flamegapps can be installed without any edit/uncomment, why one should flash Nikgapps? What advantages Nikgapps have when compared to Flamegapps? If anyone can tell this.
Flamegapps basic = no nonsense gapps.

You have to edit the installer script anyway if you want to keep the aosp dialer so no extra effort, and more importantly (for me) Android Auto will only work with nikgapps

The file you have to edit is nikgapps.config and the line you have to uncomment is
# InstallPartition=system
(Remove the #)
Use 7zip, with windows file explorer will not work
