Uncheck preloader and check again. Let me know, probably you are missing something more.

OK, you said you passed the unauthorized verification, I guess you installed the devel filters and so on.
Now you have to set the SP Flash tool in Options/General Check LIB DA match and Check Storage Life Cycle and in Connection; UART/Baud Rate to 921600

Do you know you have to relaunch the bypass each time you try to use SP Flash tool and after each error too?

Is that the problem ? It may be a driver problem, are my drivers bad (MTK Usb Driver v1.0.8) ? Can you guys give some tips on good drivers for this operation ? Thank you in advance.

Once you bypassed restriction, then keep connected to the PC, and just run SPFT, take a look how your device appears on device manager and upload the screenshot here.

I forgot to mention.. the device is locked on miui cloud and i dont have the account, so i cant unlock the dev mode, is that the problem ? Do i need to enter edl test state ? shorting the motherboard test pins ? The device only appears in libusb as Redmi Note 8 plus, i install the mediatek driver but .. no succes.

The thing is that the drivers must be updated in the communication before your device and the PC, not your PC only.
This means you have to see where it is the change on the device manager when you plugged your device, if you need the preloader mode, firstly you have to see your device under COM Port, to can update it. You can provide some screenshot from the list at this exact time, to see it.

Nougat on N920G

I've tried upgrading to Nougat with the Bangladesh firmware via Odin. Whenever I try, the following error appears:

After that, I turn on the N920G and it asks me to try to recover the mobile with Smart Switch (and it does not work). I can only use it by flashing Marshmallow again.
Any solution?
I happen exactly the same, probe to install the nougat India version and always the same error, I have the 920G, I am from Argentina.
As far as I read the 920G latin america would not be compatible with this version ....

I'm from Argentina, too. In the Sammobile forum, one of the moderators told me that I seem to need to flash the firmware together with the PIT, but it does not give me much confidence to do so and I do not see it necessary to upgrade to Nougat

Saludos,
I agree, I do not think it is justified to try installing a PIT, there has to be another solution, I do not understand why it does not work if it is the same model, the first time something like that happens to me.
I also tried to install 6.0.1 India and then upgrade to OTA, but it did not work either, it gave me the same error as when trying to install nougat directly, so I do not think installing PIT works.
If you find out some way to do the upgrade, let me know, it kills my anxiety .... ejaculation.

Did you try downloading the firmware from this software? (https://www.androidsage.com/2016/03...firmware-files-directly-from-samsung-servers/)
It seems your firmware is corrupt while downloading. Try to Flash it again.
If you read changelog you can see
1.md5 checking finished successfully
This means download is not corrupt. When you flash any file ending with .md5 with odin, it never flash if file is corrupted and will throw error - md5 mismatched, flashing aborted.
2.Bootloader,kernel and recovery flashed successfully
Usually bootloader samsung makes blacklisted for some device and that can fail but here that is not the case as it was already flashed accoeding odin log
3.Flashing failed at system.img
Common cause is sometimes system.img size varies on different regional model though model is same. So in case you are flashing a Bangladesh ROM on on other region device it can fail
Flashing with pit (must be from same region you are trying to flash ROM) will change partition size and that may able to finish system.img in case said is the reason. Keep in mind flashing md5 should be keep reserve only to revive device in case of soft brick
Recommend
- Flash ROM from same region of device
- Flash with pit in case of device and ROM are from same region and still giving error.

[ROM] Honor 6A Pro (DLI-L42) Root-Patched Boot Image file

Today, I'm honored to share the root-patched boot image file for Huawei Honor 6A Pro (DLI-L42) model. I'm managed to perform nandroid backup in order to get the boot image file and then I'm patched it with Magisk Manager. You can install the root-patched boot image file here but there's a lot of work to do. I am not responsible for any risks happen when rooting the device!

How to root the Huawei Honor 6A Pro (DLI-L42) (DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK):
1. Download the patched boot image file here.
2. Unlock the bootloader the un-official way. See this link here on how to do it FIRST! You shall only use DC Unlocker for unlocking Huawei devices due to Huawei stops providing bootloader unlocking code starting in the middle of July.
3. Instal Magisk Manager app on your device. Download it from here.
4. Connect your device into your PC and enable the USB Debugging. Then, run the command adb reboot bootloader.
5. Flash the patched boot image file via the command fastboot flash boot patched_boot.img.
6. Reboot the device via command fastboot reboot and finally your device is finally rooted.
WARNING: PLEASE USE ENGLISH WHEN REPLYING THIS THREAD FOR HELP/TROUBLESHOOTING. YOU WILL NOT BE TOLERATED IF DOING SO! IF YOU'RE ROOTING YOUR DEVICE FOR A VERY DAMN FIRST TIME, PLEASE AVOID IT FROM DOING SO! IF YOU'RE NOOB AND BRICKED YOUR DEVICE, THEN SERVE YOUR FACE!
NOTE: This root-patched boot image file only works with DLI-L42 model and might not work with other variants of Honor 6A device.

Make sure that you are flashing the patched boot.img file, not the stock boot image file which included inside the package which used for backup purpose. It is best to flash it via TWRP.

Google Home/Nest hub flash method exposed and TOOL REVEALED !!

It's been a while since the initial release of the google home hub but no one knows how the firmware really get's flashed using the hidden micro usb port under the rubber bottom surface.
Well, it's very simple, it uses the Amlogic S905D2G chip ( similar to what cheap tv boxes have ) which means it can be simply flashed with a custom rom via the Amlogic Usb burning tool. In order for it to go into flashing mode you need to hold both volume up and down buttons then plugging the power cable whilst also having the micro usb cable is plugged into a computer.

As you can see the connection is successful meaning that this can truly be flashed but...
There is a small catch, google never reveals pre compiled firmware for these devices meaning you would have to compile it. There was recently an update from which there was a high possibility google was transitioning to a different OS called fuchsia while seamlessly leaving the same UI as the original OS was and hopefully still is android.
Once the drivers are installed, The google home hub can be seen as what is above. before driver install, your computer should've detected it as GX-CHIP
Hope this helps with future development on this little platform as I don't see much going on.

I was hoping to find a way to flash the original firmware on the first gen hub, but there are no roms available anywhere?
Mine has toasted itself - I suspect it got corrupted doing an update and Google can't help me. They say "It's dead Jim!". Has anyone found a valid ROM that I can flash it with and see if I can resuscitate it? TIA
I see that some of you guys are interested in fixing/modifying your device(s), me included.
So I wondered if you may be interested in creating a Github project to help us out eachother.
I definitely would!
Maybe good to know that after the fuchsia upgrade everything has changed. Holding volume up while powering up gives fastboot mode. Volume down gives recovery mode but I don't know what that does.
I flashed a TWRP build over my recovery and now the recovery is broken... Stupid. Anyone wanna try to tinker with the recovery? Maybe try a port scan. Or try volume up or down while in recovery?
Hello - I also have a bricked google nest hub. I removed the bottom. The micro usb socket is connected to the pc. A cdc device was found. more precisely two of them. I have loaded the armlogic driver, but the device is not recognized in the burning program. I would be very interested if someone could generate a recovery file to repair the device. thx martin
My Google Nest Hub bricked itself. I believe it happened when I powered it off while it was booting up.
I can hold 2 keys and get into Recovery mode, but I just get stuck on the "G" screen when trying to reset the device.
I too have a "CDC-Ethernet" device when I plug the micro USB (hidden underneath) into my computer.
I would love to be able to restore a standard ROM, or even a custom one.
I am trying to fastboot my 1st gen Nest Hub, but it looks like it doesn't.
What I do is to keep pressed VOL+ and then I power up the device.
Is that correct?
I desperately need to fastboot it because it looks like something f up the firmware (factory reset has the same behaviour) and it ends up with a white screen loop crash.
Does anyone have a Compiled version of the nest hub software?
any news? I have a google nest hub wotn boot onlyG logo, any solution? factory reset dont resolve the problem
did i find this link? It will be that it is the solution or it is fake http://gofirmware.com/content/google-nest-hub-custom-firmware
do you also have the firmware? Can you download it from your nest hub?

Hello and welcome!

Moto G9 Play Brick?

Well what happens is that recently my moto g9 play was updated to the version of android 11 but it turns out that with the passage of a few days it began to present some failures and I started to read a bit and several users had similar problems, apparently my best option was to "downgrade" to android 10, look in some forums for some guides and supposedly everything was correct.
I was testing the installation of android 10 a bit and it seemed that the problems had been solved it was not until I restarted the phone and then "no valid operating system could be found. the device will not boot" then try to "repair using Rescue and Smart Assistant" but at 50 % just get error but after that the mobile just stuck on green android and under says "AP fastboot FLash mode (secure)"
PD- when i try to flash stock firmware fastboot commands just get me access denied something like this
writing 'partition'...

there is a possible solution? :S noob here a lot
EDIT: forget mention that i can't enter to SO to enable oem unlock
I'm in the same situation, I think we need to wait for someone to do a blank-flash. I can't log in either and it asks me to enable OEM Unlocking. If you or I find a solution we can communicate here.
Estoy igual no he encontrado una solución

I think I have seen something, it has been uploaded to lolinet recently, I don't know if it is useful for you.
I haven't tried it because I don't have tools to open my phone, but try it and maybe it will work for you.

Oh, so you mean it won't even let you do that for blankflash itself?
TheRealDarkness said:

As far as I can see, no, blankflash is the only way.

Actually, you must open the phone completely
After that, you will have to find the correct points which are called "test points" in order to enter EDL mode.
After that, it's basically putting the Windows in test mode.
With the 2 test points already found, you should press them with tweezers and on the PC, it should detect something that says "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader".
Now you just need to flash the blankflash.
Maybe, this video is good for you, it is for another model, but use the blankflash of your phone model:
