[APK] Updating Google Market on the Huawei S7

I didn't see a thread here, but for my Huawei S7 running S7V100R001C62B113 Android 2.2.2, in order to update Android Market, these are the steps:
1) Download an updated Vending.apk from anywhere
2) Get ZipSigner2 from the market, and resign the apk into a new apk file with the 'platform key' option
3) Run the APK file with a file manager. It will ask you if you want to update the system application. After the install is complete, your market will be updated.
Google Play Store works with the Huawei S7.

Google Phone can't be installed

Hi. I have this device since last Saturday. I was trying today to see if I can install Google apps, because I like stock feeling of android. Now I won't keep them, because without root I can't freeze system apps, and so I would have 2 galleries, 2 message apps etc running in background.
I tried many of them, but when I tried Google phone play store says my device is not compatible.
So I tried to download the APK (arm64) but I can't install it.
Is there a way to bypass this limitation and, why the hell I can't install such an important Google app?!
You must root your smartphone with magisk then you must download Google framework install It and then download Google dialer apk not from Google play store. I have not problem and use It by default phone app

GMS Installer works for Huawei Mate30/Mate30 Pro

Hi all
Download the GMS Installer and install the APK, open the app, and press One Touch Installation, your device will automatically reboot and automatically install Google Play Services in Huawei eRecovery.
After your device booting back into system, check in Apps if the Google Play Services installed correctly.
After that, you can download the rest from APKMirror : Google Account Manager, Google Calendar Sync, Google Contacts Sync, Google Play Store, and Google Services Framework. Keep in mind you should download version that fit to your android version.
You can even update the Google Play Services to the latest version using the apk's from APKMirror, don't worry it will works.
That's it!

Question Just bought a global Redmi Note 10 Pro (8GB), can't update Webview and Chrome

Hello. I'm not sure what is the issue. I tried updating Chrome first but it doesn't even attempt to download an update – it just refreshes the update button after a second or so without seemingly doing anything.
I then thought I might need to update Android System Webview first but this one on the other hand keeps writing "Pending..." indefinitely.
I tried clearing cache from Google Play and restarting the phone, I tried disabling "MIUI optimization" as suggested somewhere – nothing helps.
Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance.

I suppose this could be a solution eventually, but I prefer to be able to download from Google Play. Is there anyone who had this problem and fixed it somehow?
It has been reported to work as expected and update from the Google Play post upgrading manually.
Install this one time and report back when it updates successfully eventually for subsequent versions.

But what will happen if I'll install these from a sideloaded source rather than Play Store? Will it update the existing installations or create separate ones?

Original Global ROM, currently updated to latest version 12.5.8.0. I don't remember if I tried before updating MIUI.
That would happen in my previous phone just ignore it after some time or afterwards when the next update comes out will update itself

I actually managed to fix it. A suggestion on the Google website was to uninstall the version of Google Play itself (I didn't notice that there was a 3 dots->uninstall updates option there). I did that and now both apps update correctly.
