You have to root it again doing the same procedure as before, in the Magisk app you can follow the best way to do it either by patching an image or flashing the zip through recovery.

Hi Guys, are you able to tell me if this is a rooted tab? It is able to go into cwm but when we try installing titanium backup it states that the tab is not rooted. Advise needed, thank you.

By the way, if you are wondering why I ask this, this version was downloaded by Samsung service centre and we are able to access CWN from boot hence I am abit lost as I remember we are only able to access cwn once you root the device.
No one can help on this?
It says its rooted, but you need to download Superuser app so titanium can get root permissions.
Don't forget this is a world forum and sometimes we are in different time zones.
Thanks alot. Yeah, I understand, but it is due to this that we are able to share our experiences and expertise across the globe

ok so i can downgrade and root my z3 now TWRP not installing from root or ADB !!!

one thing after another ive tried using flashify but that says partion could not be found but i can still use zip files so i create a zip file upload it to phone then flash it says successful, then i go into twrp manager it says custom recovery not installed ?????
been baffling my head now i must have had to reflash phone 20 times with everything ive been trying. In the past ive flashed a few phones with TWRP never come across these problems before.
any help would be much appreciated
This is what i have been flashing with the global one in middle

When I click install it doe absolutely nothing. I alraeday rebooted my phone and it still does nothing. How can I fix this?
You should manually give storage permission to Magisk

Factory reset on rooted device? Is it safe?

Hello. I'm new with root and custom rom things. I have samsung galaxy j7 (2016) rooted with magisk without twrp because twrp doesn't support android 8 on my phone. I also have galaxy a8 with android 10 rooted with the same method. Its work normal. But I just wondering if someday i really need to reset my data, is it safe to factory reset via recovery?
This is how its look when i enter recovery mode.
It shows "fail to open recovery_cause (no such file or directory)"
Is it normal? Is it safe to factory reset via recovery? Cause i'm tired if i have to flash it again with odin. Did someone ever experience it?

looks like you tried to root that device with some combination ROM. ask in support thread or revert back to stock ROM.

Lmao did you factory reset from recovery after you flashed the combo with Odin? All you need to do is a full reset of everything i.e. data cache factory and then reflash the combo with Odin. In all the guides it says to do this and you won't have an issue. Not trying to be that guy but you do read the guide before you attempt it right?
