Question Cannot find Edge Lighting on Galaxy M32 4G - Samsung Galaxy M32

Hi everyone,
I have a brand new Galaxy M32 4G with Android11 and OneUI 3.1.
Edge Lighting is missing from the Setting menus. I have just updated the system to the August security patch.
Edge panels are there but Edge Lighting is missing.
Is this normal? I am now using aodNotify which I purchased and it's a good app but is using up too much battery, easily 10% on average.
Thanks!

[Q] Interesting thing happened the other day....

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 from T-Mobile SGH-T889 and a Gear Neo 2, I had tuned the Neo display on as I wanted to see Weather info, and display stayed on for the preset time but?.... I had accidentally rubbed up against my arm of which made the Neo go to random undetermined areas as I was not viewing it at the time but it made my Galaxy Note 2 make a sound and turn off the Bluetooth?, I don't have any apps to turn of or manipulate anything on my Galaxy Note 2 like WiFi, BT Trigger type "Apps"and such... I just got this Neo 2 recently so not much on it except a new Clock Face so basically Stock...
Has anyone experienced something like this? any help will be appreciated as I wish to avert this from happening again.

Tmobile note 4 LED light options & Notification recommended apps (earphones)?

Hello all;
I just got my Tmobile Note 4 this week and updated to stock lollipop right away. I came from Canadian GS5 which has both the LED light options (for low battery, voice recording, etc...) as well as Notification Recommended Apps for earphones when my headphone is plugged in. I see that stock Tmobile Note 4 lacks both of these (there is simply a check box to enable / disable LED light all together). Is there any way we can enable these features? Must I root and risk tripping Knox?
TIA.

Software from Note7 for the LED cover?

We did recieve the Always-on from Note7 to S7 lately. Now I wait for the LED cover software.
Do anyone have an apk or something ported from the note?

Blue Light Sensor and Blood Pressure Sensor?

Hy people, I would like to know more information about this strange Blue Light Led/Sensor in the back of the Note 9.
I own my Note 9 since 2019 and a few weeks ago during test with an app called MY BP LAB that was supposed to measure blood pressure, I saw something that I never saw before, a bright blue light coming from a led in the back of the Note 9. More precisely between the red led ( heart pulse sensor) and the flash led.
I experimented with several health apps but I never saw this blue light turno on in all this years.
Why this is the only app capable of tapping on this hiden feature?
Why this feature is shrouded in mistery? I can't find anything about it in the internet, except one picture that direct to some superficial description about the My BP Lap app.
Does you know something about it?
Is there other apps that use this feature?
Is there a way to turn it on/off?
Thank you a lot!

Is is measure accurately?
BP lab doesnt give actual blood pressure result, just % increase/decrease compared to your "normal" level, which you have no idea to measure either.
kinda useless app. but im curious about bluelight sensor of Note9 too. no other app could activate this light so far, even the samsung apps.

Exactly, from what I tested the readings are not correct, they are always too low compared to two BP readers I have.
I am still curious about this blue led and other aplications it could have. And I also make an UPDATE, there actually 3 leds, red, blue and also GREEN.

Question Edge Lighting Not Working?

My faithful Samsung S5 Mini finally died and still getting head around quite a lot of things as I've only had the phone for a few days but for the life of me I cant seem to get the edge lighting to work...
The phone was on Color OS 11 but auto updated to 12 (CPH2173_11_C.46), unfortunately I never got the chance to test it on Color OS 11 so don't know if it ever has / did work.
If I go Settings > Personalisations > Edge Lighting there is the option to pick one of three colours, this shows an animation of a simulated effect but doesn't demo it on the actual screen.
Found a few guides online but they seem to be for Color OS 11, the menus are different and many options don't exist any more - I have reset the phone phone as recomented when upgrading to a new Android version but this has made no difference.
Pretty sure It's something simple I've missed like some obscure notification setting but compared to the S5 Mini its a whole new level of complex lol
Rather randomly the AoD works fine, just not the edge lighting.
Thanks in advance
Do you have "wake screen when a notification is received" on? This might disable edge lighting.
The edge lighting is poor anyway, it only flashes twice so blink and you'll miss it.
Plus they massively reduced the options in 12 so it's pretty hard to see. Big backwards step IMO.
Thanks for the reply. Checked the settings and got the mrs to send an SMS whilst i hand the phone in front of me, as you said it flashed twice and that was it - looks like a typical case of operator error as I was expecting it to work in a similar way to a good old fashioned notification LED and flash until the notification had been cleared
Will have a look around for a half decent app that offers something close enough to how I was thinking it worked.

Oh no they don't work like that, in my Samsung S10, the edge lighting worked in similar fashion as the Oppo. I would imagine it would take too much energy if it were flashing until you cleared it (say if you get a message while you are sleeping). Maybe AOD is the better alternatives as you can glance your screen and see any incoming messages or missed calls, and even that, they figured it would drain battery too as now they have a setting to turn off AOD after prolonged period of idle.
I wish LED notification make a come back, but I'm not holding my breath for it.
I cant even get the Oppo to edge light. I have an app Always On Edge (or AOE) from playstore. This is worth the effort.
Fully cutomisable. Try it out.

You didn't miss anything. I've been on Oppo for years, Edge Lighting always worked until Android 12. Now it straight up doesn't do anything and it's very frustrating.

I'm facing the same issue after Android 12 update on my Oppo Reno6. I have already tried out all methods, but nothing worked. it's frustrating me.
